I have tried the automatic settings but it didn't work. i was sent an sms by customer care for the manual settings but it is still not working. I have been advised to take it to their office just that i might not have the time soon. Thanks

Heavensake: mtn, d data bonus and extra data, how long does it last b4 expiration.

The bonus on recharge expires 7 days.
The bonus on Data bundle purchased has the same expiry as the Databundle.

tjmc: there is this problem i am always having with MTN.
Each time i load airtime on my line, within 10 to 20 minutes 50 naira wud be deducted and wen i call their customer care they tell me i am subscribed to a package which i can swear to i never subscribe and each time money keeps going out of my line. the xonplain might be long if i write all here. but i have made my decision to stop loading my mtn and buy glo instead. untill the criminal MTN improves dey wont eat ma money again

honsule: A recharge card was overscratched.called mtn customer care several times I was told by 2 diff agent to go to mtn office for rectification.that their system for that particular issue is down.I went to Mtn CC Abuja office 2day.After wasting my time.Almost 1hr on queue I was told nothing they can do for now.system down.It baffles me how big organization like mtn will be giving such complain.am pissed off

Please go to:
SETTINGS->MORE->MOBILE NETWORK->ACCESS POINT NAMES

Select the active APN, edit the proxy and port field. (Leave both as "Not set" ).
Save your APN settings (the modification).
Turn on Mobile Data and you should be able to download from Google Play or use YouTube.

omoelu1: abeg mr jide help me o. anytime my phone is on 3G, it wouldn't connect to d internet until i change it back to EDGE but this edge won't even open nairaland.
ps: it wasn't so before until 2 weeks ago. abeg o, i have an active subscribtion(the night plan) and have been unable to use it.

Please go to MTN settings on your phone, remove the proxy (10.199.212.2) and port (8080), leave fields blank.
Save the profile and try downloading from PlayStore again.
