It is a big shame that Domain King continued to keep mum about an urgent situation. I have not been able to access my cpanel for the past three days or so. I have sent mails to support@domainking.ng with no response, even on here, no response. To make matter worse I tried resetting my password and I got a message saying:

"This email address was entered in the process of resetting password for your Domain King account. However, this address is not registered with us and therefore the attempted password change has failed.

If you have initiated this request, kindly repeat it with the email address you used to set up your Domain King account. If not, please ignore this message."

But that was the e-mail I used to open my Domain King account (methyldelene@yahoo.com).

I am by this message issuing a 48hrs ultimatum to Domain King to resolve whatever problem with my account, failure to do so would leave me with no other option than to claim serious damages.

Don't think I will trust any local registrar again. They are all mostly fraudulent.

If you registered domain name through domainking.ng, I am sure you know by now that you can no longer access your account. Hence, you can't get epp code etc needed to transfer your domains out from domainking to another registrar.

Anyway, if you registered a .ng domain through domainking, you can move it out from there to another registrar.

I've moved mine from domainking to garanntor.ng

All I did was to sign up at garanntor.ng, send my domainking invoice (for the domain name), my ID card, my garanntor login email and the domain name I want to transfer to support@garanntor.com.

They verified the docs I sent to them and generated invoice for me. I paid and the domain was moved to my garanntor account.

That's all.

NB: The email was sent from the email address I used to register the domain name.
