Pls, a friend of mine did his police report yesterday and on the certificate was written valid for 3month. What does this statement mean?
Two, what if he didn't travel after 3month he get his visa? Does it mean his police report becomes invalid or what? Thanks

Leripa: I guess what he meant is that he finished (passed out) secondary school in 2007 without writing WAEC but rather sat for NECO, which was free then.
My advise is that he should first collect his testimonial from his secondary school and go with the NECO result to the embassy. He should be fine that way.

It went like this;
Interviewer: Hi
Me: Hi. Nice tie
Interviewer: (Blushes, looks at his tie, smiles widely, then looks at me): Thanks.
Interviewer: Are you Adegoke?
Me: Yes, Adegoke Adesina
Interviewer: Which school did u finish from?
Me: OAU, Ile Ife
Interviewer: When did u graduate?
ME: 1999
Interviewer:Which course did u study?
Me: Engineering Physics
Interviewer: How come you're in banking?
Me: Nigerian banks take graduates from all fields. You get trained on the job. So....
Interviewer: I was an Engineer too, and I found myself here, so I understand u
Me: You don't say
Interviewer: Yeah
Me: Where u begin and where u end are two different things

He kept smiling all the way, almost whistling when he brought out the forms, congratulated me, & told me my visa has been approved.

My tip for those awaiting the interview is.... Follow the instructions on the website thoroughly, & be very nice & civil. It can shorten ur interview considerably.

But more importantly, be confident in God. When it's ur time to change location, then it's ur time, hopefully for d best.

I am now officially a Yankee.

Previously, the fear of members of this family was d woman on window 16. Now she is out and they brot her twin brother and he is on window 16. Hahahahahhahaha.......I'm lafing because they can't defeat us. Our God is too much and He is greater than them. Even if they went and bring their grandfather, the visa must still be given to us cos God has assigned it.

@Godhelpmeooo, u need not be afraid. You must know that the people that were denied by the man on window 13 are not members of this family. So it is possible that they knew nothing abt the interview therefore they didn't prepare well, or maybe they faked their marriage. So, Relax bro, cos u know their weakness and you know how to deal with them when your time comes. Wish you success in advance.

nero xp: Got to de embassy around 5.45am nd we all lined up as usual wit de normal security checks nd all dat.I waited in de interview hall watchin sum immigrants being interviewed.to my greatest suprise,I neva witnessed any visa denials nd it was only male CO's dat was conductin interviews to immigrants only.Note: I paid in naira equivalent,dats 54,500 nd a receipt nd Number were issued to me.so I met a DV-winner sittin Nearest to me nd wasn't a member of Nairaland,I den had to lecture him on sum certain tins he needed to knw nd my number was after his.so he number was called nd he went nd was successful,I congratulated him wella nd tapped into his success immediatly.after lyk 2mins,my number flashed @ window 14 wher dat guy was also interviewd nd I went wit courage nd boldness.the CO was abt tellin me to put my 4 fingers at de machine,I immediatly did dat sharp sharp nd he smiled @ me...dat CO fyn oo,but na man.interview went lyk dis:
