TravelRe: How I Was Saved From An Accident Yesterday!...my Story! by jidxin(m): 6:21am On Mar 07, 2016
refiner:
Nairalanders help me praise this awesome God for his mercy towards me!

yesterday...been Saturday,I planned to travel to anambra state university igbariam! to know how everything is going on there concerning jamb!... and to know how much it will cost me when I finally will be going there on 11th to sit for my jamb!....

I boarded a bus that morning by 11am....d bus zoomed off by 11:15...buh as we were moving, the driver was driving with reckless abandon!...he almost hit a car twice!...and after shouting at him,he cooled down then after some minutes,he starts his reckless driving!....I was very much afraid,so I decided to step down!....buh d conductor refused to refund my money,so this discouraged others that are willing to step down from stepping down!...

when I came down,I stood by d roadside...was difficult to get another bus cos most of d buses that passed bye was filled up!....but I patiently waited for about 30 minutes!....then finally I saw a bus DAT was half filled and boarded it and glory be to God he was an aged man and he drives slowly!...at least my heart was finally at peace!

then on our way....u can't believe wat I saw!..I saw the bus I boarded at first been involved in an accident with a golf!...it was really an eye sore!...most of the passengers there were injured...I was really shocked!...cries and shouts of pain....I felt pity and cried!....I was unable to take picture cos I did not have the heart!...in fact I was seriously weak!....buh all the same I thank God for no life was lost... wishing them a safe recovery!!!what if I was involved,I might miss this year's jamb!.....

lesson learnt!:please do step down when you notice you just boarded a reckless driver's bus!....LIFE IS PRECIOUS!!!

PS:..unfortunately there was no jamb conducted in the school yesterday!
praise God somborry BTW what is step down huhhuhhuh??

Christianity EtcRe: The World Will Rather Sink Than For Rev. King To Die – Pastor by jidxin(m): 12:53pm On Mar 06, 2016
npress:
A senior Pastor in Rev. King’s Christian Praying Assembly (CPA), Rt. Rev. Ernest King, has threatened that Nigeria and the entire world will sink rather than have their condemned General Overseer, Dr. Chukwuemeka Ezeugo, hanged as ordered by the Nigerian Supreme Court recently.

Rev. Ernest issued the threat during an interview during the week.

He said: “The whole world will sink rather than have Rev. King hanged. You people don’t know who he is. Nothing will happen to Dr. King. He told us that he is going to somewhere and he will come back. And he doesn’t talk and it will not come to pass.”

The cleric alleged that the Nigerian judiciary had collected bribed from a certain group of people who wanted to see Rev. King out of the way, and therefore delivered partial judgment against the CPA general overseer.

His words: “The Supreme Court judgment against Rev King is good for the nation because, God will use it to cleanse the judiciary system. It has shown that the Nigerian Judiciary is partial and that anyone that brings money to the judiciary automatically is favoured with judgment. But everyone will answer for whatever he or she has done.

“Forget the witches, wizards and the wicked mafias in Christendom, they are judging themselves. Nothing will happen to Dr. King and his church. The kingdom we are talking about has come to stay; the future of the church is in no way going to be affected by the judgment.”

Rev. Ernest also threatened that those who passed the death sentence on Rev. King and said unprintable words about them and their families. Rev. King was convicted first by a Yaba Magistrate court for the murder of Ann Uzor on June 22, 2006. The death sentence was confirmed by a Court of Appeal much later and recently by the Supreme Court.

Besides the muder of Ann, he was also accused of setting ablaze five other members of the church like Vivian, Jessica, Chizoba, Kosisochukwu and Uche.

According to Ernest, Rev. King is being persecuted because he refused to tag along with some clerics who claim to be Christians but are actually perpetuating evil.

He maintained that Rev King is a true servant of God because his resolve to fight evil had earned him persecution.

“That is the only way to know the true people of God because they are fighting evil, then evil will fight against them. Whoever tells you that he is serving God and there is no one persecuting him, my brother run away from such person because he is not serving God. This shows why God himself has refused to allow evil people to continue in power and in churches.

“The truth of the matter is that Dr. King was upstairs in house when the fire happened. He heard someone shout ‘fire, fire.’ He ran down stairs, quenched the fire, took the child to the hospital and deposited money for her treatment. Because they wanted money the first group of policemen returned on the December 31, 2006 and made away with about N5million.”

The cleric said that the group was charged with illegal breakage, for stealing about N5 million; but regretted that the case was still hanging in the court till today.

“It was the same group from the State CID, Panti that came to Ajao Estate to make arrest. They said that they will deal with Dr. King ruthlessly. It was the same group that came to carry money that is working with Christian mafia because Dr. King did not want to join them in doing evil.”

He also argued that it was not possible that six people were bathed with fuel and only one of them caught fire.

“Some said the six were bathed with fuel in Rev King’s parlour. Other said that was at the garage, yet there was no evidence of burns in the places where the six were purportedly set ablaze,” he said.

He challenged the authorities to be courageous enough to tell Nigerians the truth about the whole episode.

“Pour 20 litres of fuel in the parlour and see if the house will not be consume. So let Nigerian government and their groups tell us the truth,” Ernest said.

So between the Sharia law and the Law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, which stand supreme?

Beside, are we talking about Sharia law here?
sharia law is only applicable to muslims living in the north and not applicable to christians living in the north.... sharia law has bin supported by the constitution wch is the grund norm so i dont think any conflict could arise as to bring any supremacy issue .... the constitution established a sharia court for the state who has enshrined as their state law... its only when the provisions of sharia law has contravene the constitution thats where the constitution will be supreme

Now this is my best part. Its about time the FG drum this statement in the ears of Nigerians, especially the moslems in the north who are fund of saying "Allah's laws supersedes every other law" when they clearly live in Nigeria, not heaven or whatever imaginary place they could think of.

I also believe its about that time we separate religion from state, and make it known without fear or favor that the rule of law stand supreme to either the christian or moslem law!.
sharia law is not a customary law per se it has bin ratified as a state law so it doesnt supersede ..... we have the criminal procedure code nd we have criminal procedure Act ....the act is for the southern nd western only while the code is for the northern only nd dis code has permitted the sharia law to be practised in the north alone .....

Nice one .. But, what of other men wey don dey marry underaged girls with parents consent but without the child consent?
those ones are in the north nd the north operate penal code as oppose to the criminal code where child marriage is not against the law they practice sharia law but in d south nd western region its against the law..... so they are free to marry them under the sharia law thats why she wouldnt be able to do anything except the sharia law is abrogated.

Rev King was immediately arrested and remanded in prison
TB Joshua has failed to answer several court summons

CrimeSoldiers Beat Up Lagos Lawyer For “walking Slowly On The Road.” by jidxin(op): 10:48am On Feb 24, 2016
A lawyer, Adeyemi Akintoye, is currently receiving treatment from a hospital in the Yaba area of Lagos State after two soldiers allegedly brutalised him for “walking slowly on the road.”

Punch Metro learnt that one of the soldiers, identified as Uko Obasi, from the Tailoring Department of the Ordinance Barracks, Yaba, allegedly assaulted Akintoye near Tejuosho Market, Ojuelegba Road, Yaba, and kicked him repeatedly with his boot.

It was learnt that the assault occurred at about 6pm on Thursday, while Akintoye was returning from work, during which the lawyer was dispossessed of a sum of N350,000 he had collected from a client.

It was gathered that at that time, Akintoye, who held a folder containing the money, was walking down the road when the soldiers, who were behind him, ordered him to walk faster.

Akintoye was said to have replied that he was not obstructing their movement as the road was wide enough for everyone to pass.

Punch Metro learnt that the soldiers were infuriated by the lawyer’s response and allegedly beat him up.

It was gathered that when the lawyer fell and became still, a crowd, which gathered at the scene, held Uko Obasi, while his colleague fled from the scene.

Akintoye and Uko Obasi were said to have been taken to the Ordinance Barracks where the army authorities promised to look into the matter and get back to the lawyer. The matter was later reported at the Sabo Police Division.

Speaking with Punch Metro, 33-year-old Akintoye said the soldiers wanted to escape from the scene, adding that his wallet and folder containing about N350,000, paid by one of his clients, was stolen during the commotion.

He said, “I was coming from work on Thursday around 6pm. Near the Yaba Market, I heard a voice behind me saying, ‘Walk faster. Do you think this is your sitting room?’ I replied, ‘The space is wide enough for anyone to pass’. I received a slap from behind immediately.

“When I looked back and saw two soldiers, I said, ‘What is my offence?’ I received another slap and they started beating me up.

“They were with daggers. They punched me and kicked me with their boots. People were shouting that I would die.

“In the commotion, my wallet and ATM cards were stolen. My folder containing N350,000 was stolen. It was given to me as part payment by a client. Blood was streaming down my face. When they saw the blood, they wanted to escape.

“But I held on to one of them. People gathered and started taking photographs. The other soldier escaped. I did not know that a senior police officer was around and watching.”

The lawyer added that when he and the soldier were taken to the barracks, the military authorities promised to get back to him.

“It was the police officer who took both of us to the barracks. At the barracks, one of the senior military officers said I was a “bloody civilian” and could be beaten up by soldiers.

“Another officer apologised and took my contact details, saying the military would get back to me. I went to a hospital immediately to get treatment for the injuries I sustained,” Akintoye added.

The spokesperson for the Nigerian Army, Division 81, Col. Kingsley Samuel, said the matter would be investigated, saying the army would not condone indiscipline on the part of its officers.

He said, “We are going to investigate the matter. But let the lawyer give a better description of the barracks so we can be sure where the soldiers are attached.”
