Is that why your city is filled with mud house and shirine?

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) will appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (Cas) over the reinstatement of Equatorial Guinea to the Women's Africa Cup of Nations.

On Wednesday the Confederation of African Football (Caf) restored Equatorial Guinea to the finals in place of Kenya after an appeal.

In October Kenya were awarded a place in the finals when Caf ruled Equatorial Guinea had fielded an ineligible player in qualifying.

Caf's Appeal Board announced on Wednesday that: "The player Annette Jacky Messomo is eligible to play for the national team of Equatorial Guinea

In the original ruling from Caf had upheld a protest from the Football Kenya Federation over the eligibility of Messomo.

The decision at the time was that: "The player in question was allegedly of Cameroonian nationality and had played for several European based clubs."

In response FKF released a statement saying: "It is our belief that both Caf and Cas will treat the matter with the seriousness that it deserves, this even as Harambee Starlets remain in camp in preparation for" the tournament.

The letter added that FKF stands by its assertion that Messomo is ineligible to play for Equatorial Guinea.
The news of the successful appeal came just as Kenya drew 1-1 with Ghana in a friendly on Wednesday.

As it stands two-time winners Equatorial Guinea will be in Group B for the finals that are due to begin on 17 November.

They are due to begin their campaign against Zambia on 18 November before facing South Africa and defending champions Nigeria.
Caf should just allow Kenya to continue, they have been training for quite some time now and a lot of logistics has been put in that team. Even though i would have love to see Nigeria beat equatorial Guinea they will be ill prepared and pose little or no competition to our team.

Bro we talking facts not feelings. We talking present not past. Nigeria had it and we proud of those greats and their achievements for the national team. When they were there, Ivory Coast had nothing on us but same cant be said of the present midfielders bar, iwobi, Ndidi and aged Mikel. Now tell me, can u compare these carpenters(Etebo, Ogu, Agu) with any of our greats past? My dear I cant settle for less, hence I no fit follow una dey glorify mediocrities. A team where Wilson Oruma was a fringe player is parading the Agus, Etebos, Ogus of this world as midfielders and u want Chriskels to be hailing them? Ogbeni make I hear word
Those carpenter you made mention of they are not the mainstream of our team. maybe you should have make use of the word ''apprentice'' which will come good with time bar ogu which age is not on his side.

Is better to have an average team giving you result than a world class team that is underperforming. Oga chriskel we are not saying you should hail the team but objective criticism is welcome. those Carpenters( this word is very offensive please don't use it to address any super eagles player again) is what we have now and am very sure they will give us the desired result.

He is an Ivorian midfielder with only 5caps. He aint even good enough for the ivory Coast, hence he hardly get a look in. But look at what we Parade, Agu, Etebo and Ogu chai grin grin grin
You like running down our team against Ivory coast all the time. they have the best team in Africa yet could not even qualify for the knock out stage on two occasions of being to the world cup. i don't know how many times it took Nigeria to make a statement in the world cup. maybe you should tell me?

I agree, Nigeria have an average midfielder s. but yet this average midfielders are unbeaten in the last thirty six world cup qualifying( one of the best in Africa) and only bested by Brazil and Spain, this average midfielders are third in Africa and the only team to have been to the last three world cup.

And your world class midfielders of ivory coast are in what number in Africa ranking please remind me. The good thing is that the last time the both team met Nigeria came top so show some respect cheesycheesycheesy

Nations cup is next year, how would a team like Liverpool fare without 2 of their key players. They both play for credible national team and can be seen as title contenders.

Well, maybe Solanke might come in handy grin just saying.
By then the league would have been overcheesy

Our AWCON group B opponent Zambia beat Ghana 3-2 in a friendly in Zambia ..

Modified...

Zambia also beat Cameroon recently in the COsafa cup ... They seem good...

Dennerby and his girls must be wary of every team they face at the awcon... Women football in Africa is gradualism getting better..

I have a feeling this Awcon would b the toughest ever for us..
Why would cameroon participate in the COSAFA cup? i though there are in central africa.

So Iwobi is going to be our controller against South Africa? In South Africa? I thought Mikel Obi is back? So we want to face the South Africans with a midfield trio of Ogu,Etebo and Iwobi. Bash me all you want, but we will be lucky to get away with a draw, mark that anywhere. This would have been an even better game to invite Kelechi Nwakali or some of these foreign pros like Ebere Eze, come on!!

Who is this Adeleke guy? If na Keshi now, we will scream Egunje.

Nice to see Victor Oshimen and Samuel Chukwueze. But don't we have wingers who are playing in better levels than Villarreal B? I love the guy's invitation but it is detrimental to our midfield, the SA's like playing on the counter and we do not ha e enough experience, skillset, speed or technical knowhow in this crop. I mean our midfield was overran in patches by Libya's quick midfielders, and now we have less pace in Ogu, Mikel is needed or at least somebody who can control the game. That said Super Eagles till I die
i don't think Samuel chukwueze and victor oshimen will start against south Africa, there invitation is base on the friendlies at least to see what there can offer.

this is a good chance for john ogu to show us the stuff he is made of even though he has prove doubters wrong countless time.

Knowing how conservative Rohr is,I was expecting him to use the same lineup.. But I hope he will be a bit smart enough to approach the game with caution.

The Libyans are more desperate for a win than we are... that will b a huge advantage for us if we can play defensive and attack them on the counter.. I trust our counter attack .

We just gotta avoid giving out fouls in dangerous position so what happened against Cameroon in Yaoundé and Algeria in Constainte doesn't repeat itself...
Sorry to come in. i dont see this libya team posing threat to the super eagles... the both team you mention on ur post are better and were in form when we play them not an average libyan team that could only muster few scoring chance.
