Well, this factor doesnt matter, as far as "Necessary checks are done at specific intervals according to the Engineers", I work in the aviation industry, a helicopter can do so many landings without flying for high number of hours, Its the hours of flight and maintenance checks that matters the most, the helicopter might do so many landings without working for more dan 2hrs, especially when its movements within the state .... NB: There should be no MANAGE-MANAGE Mechanism. Once there is a little error (even if its dat a particular light is not coming on), the flight should be cancelled, no matter how irrelevant the error is. I work in the aviation Industry (helicopters specifically).

THE MAJOR QUESTION SHOULD BE:
Why is a "Military Helicopter" used like a KABU=KABU ? because if it was a Private company's helicopter, they will put deir foot down strongly that they cannot fly the aircraft if it requires "Maintenance" or any "special attention" or perhaps the whole crash was just an "ACCIDENT" .... GOD KNOWS BEST

IF they dont try to compensate her now, she can never be compensated later ..... Jarus: Compared to the cons, it is still a good thing that opposition controls the media.

The government has NTA which is still the most watched station, especially by the middle to lower class who reside in places other than big cities of Lagos, PH, Abuja, Kano etc. These PDP states, which are in teh majority also have local stations for their use. These governments hire all manners of Media advisers, PR guys etc from the formal to the informal media. Reno is there tackling el-Rufai on twitter, Abati and Okupe doing the formal media thing, Beaf and co, even if not sponsored, are giving the Gbawes of this world run for their money on Nairaland here.

So, if the opposition guys are having upper hand and able to tilt public sentiments in their favour, I don't think anyone is to blame. That is the way I see it.

That said, I think Amaeachi and Sule Lamido have their own due of good press. I don't agree they are under-reported.

Akpabio is the only PDP performer I think is not getting the deserved publicity and I will blame his media/PR guys for that.

OKAY... I have something to add on this.

For other countries, there are court weddings that are in respect to the laws of your religion.

An 'ordinary' court wedding might state that : 'the wife u are marrying, will be your ONLY wife' .... Obviously, that will go against the teaching of Islam that allows you to marry more than one wife.

An 'ordinary' court wedding might also talk about property sharing: this also goes against the tenets of Islam because Islam has a specific way of 'Property sharing' ...

Other countries have noticed these contradictions, so they alredi av a standard way of mixing the govt part with the religious part, and the certificate will serve its full purposes.... eg travelling, job placement, VISA etc

Moreova, the conditions of Marriage in Islam and Court marriage are also a bit different ........... COURT MARRIAGES MIGHT NOT REQUIRE ALL THE CONDITIONS REQUIRED BY ISLAM FOR MARRIAGES.

Assuming we have a good structure in Nigeria that allows Court Marriages to be implemented according to the laws of eachother's religion.... Then, we wont have a problem......
