When did you apply and when was her medical updated. Has your background check been completed? Wondering why my upfront medical has not been updated, still on background check. My application is 2months today. And from their calculation 60days is almost 10weeks.

She is not through with her master's still in her first year. Is there any format for the reference letter or can she use the one they gave her during her visa application. Do I need to write the English language exam as well? And then what does she need for the evaluation ( transcript direct from my school or can she use her own copy of the transcript) sorry for asking so many questions I just want to be sure of what we are doing to know if we can afford it now. If you know the embassy where your app is been processed, send the additional documents to that email or simply attach the documents to case specific enquiry. I did that and it worked for me.

The Dean/doctor sent direct to the embassy handling the application. In my case the letter was sent to Lagos visa office and in my wife's case it was sent to Ghana visa office.

In as much as it does not interfere in the decision, it makes them to hasten the process!! My wife's Dean wrote to the embassy when they were delaying and within days a decision was made. It was when she got to Canada that she saw the letter self. And then when I applied for my spouse open work permit, my wife's doctor in Canada wrote to the embassy that she would be undergoing a caeserian section and within days of writting that letter, a decision was made and my visa was refused. The letter does not have anything to do with their decision but it helps in fast forwarding the time.

Very true! I Haven't heard nor seen where a university in Canada interfered with immigration matters on behalf of a student. Universities issue out acceptance letters and after which the applicant is left with the responsibility to sort for their visa themselves. A supervisor may decide to write a letter on behalf of a student stating the applicant research study purpose, of which this letter will be included during the time of visa application submission. The fact remains that no university in Canada has the right whatsoever to expedite the processing of an applicant study visa application.

For visa application, your tax clearance certificate (Tcc) will do. You can ask your company to help you process your Tcc if they haven't done that already. To do this they must have been filing your annual taxes.

Better wait till you get to Canada then you buy your phone, the good thing is that, you can be using free WiFi on your infinix phone till you get a phone. Some of the Samsung we use in naija does not work in Canada. My wife's techno did not work in Canada though.

Remember to inform them that you are currently in Germany because your passport is already having entry stamp with no exit stamp. Please be careful. You can put a call through to them as an unknown caller to be on the safe side, it will help you to decide on the best approach to this.
