There are two sections. The 1st has got to do with a somewhat advanced reasoning test, some arithmetic calculations and some Vocabulary questions. Its about 50 questions for 30 mins.
In the 2nd section u will be required to write 3 essays of not less than 300 words in 20 mins.
Expect questions essays like where u see urself in the next 20 years and something happening recently in the political or economic terrain in Naija.

Well like the Bible says, it may tarry it will surely come, no matter ow long it takes KPMG to call u one thing thats certain is that they´ll call u.
Well I started the process by writing the July 14 test and I was called for a 3rd interview on the 29th.
I av also been scheduled for a 4th interview next week but I think all that depends on what unit u chose as ur first.
For those in Audit n Tax there is a high chance than those in ITA n all that.
We must also understand d fact that these guys are making time for the interviews out of their own very tight schedules.

Well just when I clicked on the link to check the thread I was called by a staff of KPMG to show up for the 3rd stage of the interview.
Really dont know what to expect but I guess it would av more to do with the dept. one has chosen.

The Information I av from my school is that the batch B orientation camp opens 4th of Sept and I av not heard anything otherwise from relevant authorities.
Pls any one in the house with useful info on this should help the upcoming OTONDOs as there are rumours of shifting till sometimes in october.

Hi,
I av not read any1 mention the kind of media cable u av used apparently because we really dont av detailed knowledge of the kind of connection u r trying to make.
If what u r trying to do is connect two computers directly then u need to use a CROSS cable and not a STRAIGHT cable.
If u r also trying o connect a VISTA and another system running XP u need to change the workgroup from WORKGROUP on the vista to MSHOME.
If with all the info in this thread u r still unable to connect ur systems, there must be a problem with one or both of ur NICs

Well I'm pretty sure like someone said that u r probably using Otigba version of the said XP, if u r really experienced though I wont advice u can edit the registry values or u repair ur XP and make sure u av automatic updates TURNED OFF.
If however u dont get a CD dt can repair, u can as well make a back up of ur data in another partition and reinstall d OS. whatever u do just make sure AUTOMATIC UPDATES IS TURNED OFF. N NEVER ATTEMPT TO VISIT MICROSOFT FOR SUPPORT.

Well I wrote the test some few weeks back and u get some very standard mathematics that really require a lot of reasoning.
u´d av to know the capital of some african countries, New Prime ministers, be prepared to write 3 Essays in about 20 mins.
Thats a bout all. just get a good GMAT book n work through the tougher analytical questions n some vocabulary.

I am one of the affected ¨intending corpers¨.
I wrote my UME on may 6 2000 believing I was still very young and I could find my way easily into the labour market but I bet u I av a totally different mentality today.
I studied ECE in LASU and without an extra year or any form admission deferrence here I am, still intendind to serve.
So many opportunities come your way and you will always hear the same story, oh sorry we r very interested in u but its against the company´s policy to employ intending corpers and all that, I´ve heard a lot of that.
Read in the dailies that the Govt cant afford N127,000 per annum for a corper and we have some of our leaders stealing N36 Billion in a day.
Its really disheartening.
I just wanna use this medium to plead with President Umar Yar´adua, General Bomoi and all others concerned to see that something is urgently done so we can spend our ¨one year in exile¨ as at when due.

To the best of my knowledge, GTB pays 21k to ITs and about 48k to contract staff.
For intending corpers I really dont think they av a provision for those. u either get in as an IT, a corper, a contract staff or a full staff.

If I can recall, when ITs were paid 18k, the corpers earned 20k
