RomanceRe: What I Found On My Sales Girl's Facebook Messages by Jjohnson777: 4:16am On Jun 07, 2020
HAVE you ever known someone who was very sick?— Did you wish you could do something to help him?— What if he was from a different country or of a different religion? Would you still want to help him get well?— A young girl who lived in the land of Israel nearly 3,000 years ago did. Let’s talk about what happened then.

There is often fighting between ancient Israel, where the girl lives, and the nearby country of Syria. (1 Kings 22:1) One day the Syrians come to Israel and capture the little girl. She is taken to Syria, where she becomes the servant of the wife of Naaman, the Syrian army chief. Naaman has a bad disease called leprosy, which can cause some of a person’s flesh to fall off.

A servant girl talking to Naaman’s wife
The servant girl tells Naaman’s wife how her husband can be healed. She says: ‘If Naaman were in Samaria, Jehovah’s prophet Elisha could make his leprosy go away.’ Well, the way the servant girl talks about Elisha makes Naaman believe that the prophet really might be able to make him well. So with the approval of Ben-hadad, the king of Syria, Naaman and some attendants make the long trip of about a hundred miles [about 150 km] to find Elisha.
When Naaman arrives at Elisha’s house with his horses and chariots, Elisha sends out a messenger to tell him: ‘You must bathe seven times in the Jordan River, and you will be healed.’ Naaman is angry. He expects Elisha to come out and wave his hand over the leprosy to make it go away. Instead, he sees only this messenger! So Naaman turns away in a rage and begins to go back home.—2 Kings 5:9-12.

What would you have done if you were one of Naaman’s servants?— Well, the servants ask him: ‘If it was some hard thing Elisha asked you to do, would you not do it? So why not do this simple thing—just bathe and be clean?’ Naaman listens to them. He goes “down and [begins] to plunge into the Jordan seven times . . . , after which his flesh [comes] back like the flesh of a little boy.”

Naaman returns to Elisha and says: “Here, now, I certainly know that there is no God anywhere in the earth but in Israel.” He promises Elisha that he will never again “render up a burnt offering or a sacrifice to any other gods but to Jehovah.”—2 Kings 5:13-17.

Would you like to help someone to learn about Jehovah and about what he can do, as that little girl did?— When Jesus was on earth, a man who had leprosy believed in him and said: ‘If you really want to help me, you can.’ Do you know what Jesus replied?— “I want to.” And Jesus healed him, just as Jehovah had healed Naaman.—Matthew 8:2, 3.

This little girl was just a slave to this household, but as a servant of God, she was concerned about her master's sickness, she courageously told them were help can come from, he took the step and was healed.
As long as we are christains, it is our responsibilty to help anyone who is spiritualy sick to recover, it is only if he or she adamantly refuses to accept to make changes. An individual life style can affect ones business, more descent people who are more trusted, run businesses better than undescent ones, good qualities matters a lot in everything we do. Please, if we are in the position to help ourselves, we should do it, don't forget that we also have young ones in schools, work places, market, or any other place, they may be displaying some other wrong kind of conduct over there, how will you feel if those who see them do this have the capacity of correcting them, but feel, they won't, render help in any way you can, God will bless you, and the one you have changed
RomanceRe: No Sex Before Marriage Is A Scam by Jjohnson777: 7:48pm On May 31, 2020
Please, there is one thing that we should all understand about God's divine standards, whether you like it or not, it remains the same, no era can change it, whether it is practiced by majority or not, sex before marriage is wrong. About 24000 Israeletes were destroyed by God in just one day because of have relations with women not their own. Even if am a fornicator, then someone comes to me and ask the truth about, if God condemns sex before marriage or not, the fact that am part of it can not prevent me from telling the Gospel truth, please we should all know this very well. We like it or not any marriage that passes through this medium must have one issue or more, because there is going to be lack of trust among this mates, if on their initial meeting they had sex indicates that, any of them can likewise have sex with anyone in the abscent of the other. But if there was full control of their sexual urge, before their marriage, there is going to be abundant trust for each other as they get married. Look at this example, you are looking for a capable wife, then you met a girl, you propose to her she accepted, later you invited her to your place, she denied coming, you insisted, she agreed, but on your way to your place you attempetd to hold her hands or place your hands on her shoulders, but she refused, on reaching your home, she insisted that she can't enter inside, she preferes seating outside, uncomfortably you accepted. Then, another one is the opposite, she acceps everything, allows you to place your hands on her shoulders, embrace, and even free to give you sex. Among this two, who do you think God can approve for you as a capable wife? The first instance is better, we should call black, black and white, white. Please, read this scriptures, Proverbs 31:10-31; 1Corinthians 6:9-11; Galatians 5:19-21; Matthew 19:9-12; Revelation 21:8
Christianity EtcRe: Why Do We Need To Speak/pray In Tongues? by Jjohnson777: 10:46am On May 24, 2020
For now any of the speaking in tongues is fake, the main purpose was to preach to different people who came to Jerusalem for worship, to reach this diverse people with the message, they were given, they were not proud of it, nor do they continue to seek for it after that, purpose has been accomplished. Those who heard the message in their tongue took it back home and preached in their languages, there was no need to continue speaking in tongues today, as modern technology can translate the scriptures to any tongue in a few minute, beside almost all tribes have the Bible in their languages. Pastors today will tell you they speak in tongues, just to draw followers to themselves, God has not send them any message. Some even call themselves prophets, the last prophet is Jesus, we are also prophets if we preach what God's prophets preached and wrote. Let's ask ourselves, who among the apostles was called a prophet, are we more close to God than the apostles?

The death in reality do not know themselves, neither do they move around to disturb. Both you and your girl friend have issues to resolve when it comes to your worship with the Almighty God, he is the only one that protect his servants from all this demonic attacks. The demons pretend to be the death ones, but after Christ went to heaven and waged war with satan and his demons, driving them to the vicinity of the earth, the power for the denons to live again with humans physically as it was in the time of Noah, was taken away from them. they are still other ways the demons try to disturb we humans, but not to be discussed here. To break free from this attack or demonic awareness, you must be very close to the Almighty God, it involves worshipping him in the right way, you said you were staying with your girl friend, at this point you have already violated God's law of having sex relating with a woman not your wife, and even staying together, you must be holy just as our God is holy, humanly speaking. Also, if you have some demonic books, movies in your phones, tablet, laptop, pictures, charms, or anything that has something to do with spiritism, you have to stay clear from this.
Finally, pray constantly and work according to your prayers, seek the help of matured faithful christians, and explain your problems to them. If you do all this, you cant be disturbed by the demons, not only this present circumstance, but subsequent ones. Proverbs 18:10; Numbers 23:23; Romans 10:13; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Revilation 12:7-12

What might a woman look for when considering a prospective marriage mate?

For example, a woman might ask, “What kind of reputation does this man have? Who are his friends? Does he display self-control? How does he treat elderly persons? What kind of family does he come from? How does he interact with them? What is his attitude toward money? Does he abuse alcoholic beverages? Is he temperamental, even violent? What religious responsibilities does he have, and how does he handle them? Could I deeply respect him?”—Leviticus 19:32; Proverbs 22:29; 31:23; Ephesians 5:3-5, 33; 1 Timothy 5:8; 6:10; Titus 2:6, 7.

What might a man look for when considering a prospective marriage mate?

A man might ask, “Does this woman display love and respect for God? Is she capable of caring for a home? What will her family expect of us? Is she wise, industrious, thrifty? What does she talk about? Is she genuinely concerned about the welfare of others, or is she self-centered, a busybody? Is she trustworthy? Is she willing to submit to headship, or is she stubborn, perhaps even rebellious?”—Proverbs 31:10-31; Luke 6:45; Ephesians 5:22, 23; 1 Timothy 5:13; 1 Peter 4:15.

“Soul” and “Spirit”—What Do These Terms Really Mean?

WHEN you hear the terms “soul” and “spirit,” what comes to your mind? Many believe that these words mean something invisible and immortal that exists inside us. They think that at death this invisible part of a human leaves the body and lives on. Since this belief is so widespread, many are surprised to learn that it is not at all what the Bible teaches. What, then, is the soul, and what is the spirit, according to God’s Word?

“SOUL” AS USED IN THE BIBLE
First, consider the soul. You may remember that the Bible was originally written mainly in Hebrew and Greek. When writing about the soul, the Bible writers used the Hebrew word neʹphesh or the Greek word psy·kheʹ. These two words occur well over 800 times in the Scriptures, and the New World Translation renders them “soul,” either in the main text or in footnotes. When you examine the way “soul” or “souls” is used in the Bible, it becomes evident that this word basically refers to (1) people, (2) animals, or (3) the life that a person or an animal has. Let us consider some scriptures that present these three different senses.

People. “In Noah’s day . . . a few people, that is, eight souls, were carried safely through the water.” (1 Peter 3:20) Here the word “souls” clearly stands for people—Noah, his wife, his three sons, and their wives. Exodus 16:16 mentions instructions given to the Israelites regarding the gathering of manna. They were told to gather it “according to the number of the people [“souls,” footnote]” that each of them had in his tent. So the amount of manna that was gathered was based on the number of people in each family. Some other Biblical examples of the application of “soul” or “souls” to a person or to people are in the footnotes found at Genesis 46:18; Joshua 11:11; Acts 27:37; and Romans 13:1.

Animals. In the Bible’s creation account, we read: “Then God said: ‘Let the waters swarm with living creatures [“souls,” footnote], and let flying creatures fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens.’ Then God said: ‘Let the earth bring forth living creatures [“souls,” footnote] according to their kinds, domestic animals and creeping animals and wild animals of the earth according to their kinds.’ And it was so.” (Genesis 1:20, 24) In this passage, fish, domestic animals, and wild animals are all referred to by the same word—“souls.” Birds and other animals are called souls in the footnotes found at Genesis 9:10; Leviticus 11:46; and Numbers 31:28.

Life of a person. Sometimes the word “soul” means the life of a person. Jehovah told Moses: “All the men who were seeking to kill you [“seeking your soul,” footnote] are dead.” (Exodus 4:19) What were Moses’ enemies trying to do? They were seeking to take Moses’ life. Earlier, while Rachel was giving birth to her son Benjamin, “her life was slipping away [“her soul was going out,” footnote].” (Genesis 35:16-19) At that time, Rachel lost her life. Consider also Jesus’ words: “I am the fine shepherd; the fine shepherd surrenders his life [“soul,” footnote] in behalf of the sheep.” (John 10:11) Jesus gave his soul, or life, in behalf of mankind. In these Bible passages, or in the footnotes, the word “soul” clearly refers to the life of a person. You will find more examples of this sense of “soul” either in the text or in the footnotes found at 1 Kings 17:17-23; Matthew 10:39; John 15:13; and Acts 20:10.

A further study of God’s Word will show you that nowhere in the entire Bible are the terms “immortal” or “everlasting” linked with the word “soul.” Instead, the Scriptures state that a soul is mortal, meaning that it dies. (Ezekiel 18:4, 20) Therefore, the Bible calls someone who has died simply a “dead soul.”—Leviticus 21:11, footnote.

THE “SPIRIT” IDENTIFIED
Let us now consider the Bible’s use of the term “spirit.” Some people think that “spirit” is just another word for “soul.” However, that is not the case. The Bible makes clear that “spirit” and “soul” refer to two different things. How do they differ?

Bible writers used the Hebrew word ruʹach or the Greek word pneuʹma when writing about the “spirit.” The Scriptures themselves indicate the meaning of those words. For instance, Psalm 104:29 states: “If you [Jehovah] take away their spirit [ruʹach], they die and return to the dust.” And James 2:26 notes that “the body without spirit [pneuʹma] is dead.” In these verses, then, “spirit” refers to that which gives life to a body. Without spirit, the body is dead. Therefore, in the Bible the word ruʹach is translated not only as “spirit” but also as “force,” or life-force. For example, concerning the Flood in Noah’s day, God said: “I am going to bring floodwaters upon the earth to destroy from under the heavens all flesh that has the breath [ruʹach] of life.” (Genesis 6:17; 7:15, 22) “Spirit” thus refers to an invisible force (the spark of life) that animates all living creatures.

A portable radio without any electrical or battery power source
The soul and the spirit are not the same. The body needs the spirit in much the same way as a radio needs electricity—in order to function. To illustrate this further, think of a portable radio. When you put batteries in a portable radio and turn it on, the electricity stored in the batteries brings the radio to life, so to speak. Without batteries, however, the radio is dead. So is another kind of radio when it is unplugged from an electric outlet. Similarly, the spirit is the force that brings our body to life. Also, like electricity, the spirit has no feeling and cannot think. It is an impersonal force. But without that spirit, or life-force, our bodies “die and return to the dust” as the psalmist stated.

Speaking about man’s death, Ecclesiastes 12:7 states: “The dust [of his body] returns to the earth, just as it was, and the spirit returns to the true God who gave it.” When the spirit, or life-force, leaves the body, the body dies and returns to where it came from—the earth. Comparably, the life-force returns to where it came from—God. (Job 34:14, 15; Psalm 36:9) This does not mean that the life-force actually travels to heaven. Rather, it means that for someone who dies, any hope of future life rests with Jehovah God. His life is in God’s hands, so to speak. Only by God’s power can the spirit, or life-force, be given back so that a person may live again.

How comforting it is to know that this is exactly what God will do for all of those resting in “the memorial tombs”! (John 5:28, 29) At the time of the resurrection, Jehovah will form a new body for a person sleeping in death and bring it to life by putting spirit, or life-force, in it. What a joyful day that will be!

If you would like to learn more about the terms “soul” and “spirit” as used in the Bible, you will find valuable information in the brochure What Happens to Us When We Die? and on pages 375-384 of the book Reasoning From the Scriptures, both published by Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Christianity EtcRe: What's The Difference Between The Spirit And The Soul? by Jjohnson777: 2:17pm On Jul 14, 2019
The Bible’s answer
The word “soul” in the Bible is a translation of the Hebrew word neʹphesh and the Greek word psy·kheʹ. The Hebrew word literally means “a creature that breathes,” and the Greek word means “a living being.” * The soul, then, is the entire creature, not something inside that survives the death of the body. Consider how the Bible shows that the human soul is the whole person:

Adam, a living soul, at the time of his creation
Adam was not given a soul—he “became a living soul”

When Jehovah God created the first man, Adam, the Bible says that “man became a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7, King James Version) Adam was not given a soul—he became a living soul, or person.

The Bible says that the soul can work, crave food, eat, obey laws, and touch a dead body. (Leviticus 5:2; 7:20; 23:30; Deuteronomy 12:20; Romans 13:1) Those activities involve the entire person.

Is the soul immortal?
No, the soul can die. Dozens of Bible verses refer to the soul as being mortal. Here are some examples:

“The soul that sinneth, it shall die.”—Ezekiel 18:4, 20, King James Version.

In ancient Israel, the punishment for the most serious offenses was that the “soul shall be cut off.” (Exodus 12:15, 19; Leviticus 7:20, 21, 27; 19:8, King James Version) The person would “be put to death.”—Exodus 31:14, King James Version.

After a person dies, the literal term “dead soul” is used for the corpse in some Bible verses. (Leviticus 21:11, footnote; Numbers 6:6, footnote) Although many Bible translations use the terms “dead body” or “dead person” in those verses, the original Hebrew uses the word neʹphesh, or “soul.”

“Soul” can mean “life”
The Bible also uses “soul” as a synonym for “life.” For example, Job 33:22 uses the Hebrew word for “soul” (neʹphesh) as a parallel for “life.” Similarly, the Bible shows that a person’s soul, or life, can be risked or lost.—Exodus 4:19; Judges 9:17; Philippians 2:30.

This use of the word for “soul” helps us to understand verses in which the soul is said to be “going out” or “departing.” (Genesis 35:18; King James Version) This figure of speech indicates that the person’s life is ending. Some translations render this expression at Genesis 35:18 as “she breathed her last.”—Good News Translation; New Jerusalem Bible.

Where belief in an immortal soul comes from
Christian denominations that believe in an immortal soul get this teaching, not from the Bible, but from ancient Greek philosophy. The Encyclopædia Britannica says: “Biblical references to the soul are related to the concept of breath and establish no distinction between the ethereal soul and the corporeal body. Christian concepts of a body-soul dichotomy originated with the ancient Greeks.”

God does not condone merging his teachings with human philosophies, such as belief in an immortal soul. Instead, the Bible warns: “Look out that no one takes you captive by means of the philosophy and empty deception according to human tradition.”—Colossians 2:8.

It does not matter the days fixed for service, all depends on the congregation, during the creation of days God did not praise a day than the other, what we all know is that, all he has made was good. A family head who works on Sunday or Saturday to support the family who have attended church, don't you think he has done equal to what those who have attended have done, the money contributed by that family is it not from him, so God in heaven knows better, but is never wrong as long as if this worker is free he can still attend. Christianity EtcRe: Is Holy Ghost Fire Prayer Biblical? by Jjohnson777: 1:19pm On Sep 17, 2017
NO, In the first place the term Holy Ghost is not Biblical, but Holy spirit is correct. The Holy Spirit is God's active force, that is the force he used in the creation of things, of which operates in his heavenly creatures according to the measure he want it to be operated in them or according to their ranks. Also, he gives his measure of Holy Spirit to faithful humans here, who struggle to live by his Divine standard, and the measure of this spirit he gives humans is quite different from the one that operate in the angels, because they were fully created in that form. Time taken by an angel from heaven to the earth may not be up to a minute, because it may be disappear and appear. But, note that the distance from the sun to the earth is 93 million miles and crossing a star may take 10 qua-trillion miles, meaning if one can be fast like the speed of light, it may take the person more than 100,000 years to cross the distance of a star in the universe. Since we can't see a spirit, then it can never be a ghost, because a ghost is a seen image but not clear to the eyes,or an apparition. So, using Holy Ghost fire as a prayer on people is very wrong, because is only God and his son that has the only right to condemn an individual, we may condemn one here on earth while in heaven the person is not condemned,we allow everything for the final judge of the earth. Even in the second coming of Jesus Christ, God may not even use fire to destroy the wicked , as Jeremiah 25:31-33, states that those destroyed by God will be on the ground from one end of the earth to another, they will not be buried, as manure in the surface of the ground they would be. That same Jeremiah 7:21 states that God condemn the burning of children, will this burning not affect earths ecology as God's plan for the earth remains forever and to be inhabited, as Isaiah 45:18 says?
