DubaiLandLord1: I've read about some attroicities committed by US soldiers in Afghanistan. There is none that is as ruthless as what the Nigerian army do in Nigeria.
The Nigerian army will go into a community, kill anybody they find there and burn down the whole communities, and nobody will be prosecuted for it.
I've gone through the plot of the movie you are talking about right now, the crimes are not up to what Nigerian army personnel do to Nigerian citizens and I can see some soldiers were eventually held responsible for all what happened.
Not a single soldier have been prosecuted for the Shiite massacre in Kaduna and Abuja. the US has literally blown up more civilians than actual enemies my bru... |

Hoverbird: The Nigerian army have a history of poor human rights record it didn't start today, this has been the case since the 60's it is not a matter of a few individuals this is almost like a policy. Similar scenario happened in a village at Aba were Nigerian Soldiers went house to house butchering unarmed civilians with matchete. I won't be surprised if they deny it and some people here will shamelessly defend them. Nigeria just isn't as good at hiding its injustices like the US for example |

kabe1: Like I told you earlier, no amount of determination would win you are war.
Wars are won through strategy, tactics and the right equipment.
Tanks have a very low rate of fire when compared to IFVs.
Tanks require Infantry protection.
Tank ammunitions are expensive when compared to IFVs
Tank maintenance is not flexible like an IFV.
Tanks are generally more expensive to deploy.
Tanks are slower, consume more diesel and cannot cover the distance an IFV would cover.
Tanks require auxiliary vehicles to deploy them to the front lines.
Tanks are not recon vehicles as they don't have the profile or speed or maneuverability to perform reconnaissance missions.
Tanks cost 4 times the IFV. seconded |

Whyem15: And the idiots even recorded themselves doing this, with some of them struggling to feature in the video
Perfect scapegoats for DHQ to send messages to other soldiers and the international community that the military doesn't condone such acts. they should be court martialed....it is unfortunate that the actions of a few tarnish the reputation of the other 99% that serve with honour and professionalism.....these incidents however are not unique to Nigeria or other African forces, they also happen in first world Militaries like the US.... There will always be bad apples |

SUFFERInSMILIIN: You have to be very careful about the word hunting there are some people which go to game parks and private reserves to hunt. They are the order set of people which are protecting their farms and crops from animals like wild pigs warthog deers, in South Africa if one of these animals come into your farm and is causing havoc you can hunt them down without a licence as long as you have proof of the damage which they do. I do not know about the firearm loan now but some places you need a firearm licence or Hunters licence which are both put together. As long as you are protecting your crops from a lot of animals including monkeys and baboons you do not really need a hunting licence in Sa.. when I was in Limpopo on the farm I gone down more than six wild pigs and 15 baboons which new to come and feed on the Maze, the monkeys which we killed were more than 22 most of them come from the mountains down to feed on the farm. None of us had a hunting licence. I do not know the laws now if a hunting licence is required to kill games on your farm. In Ghana a firearm licence is a bit different from what I found out it is ideal for protection crop protection or hunting licence. One of these is compulsory before you can own a firearm legally generally you don't need hunting permits or licences to hunt in South Africa, only certain protected species require permits, however generally if you have permission from the landowner you are good to go. The hunting licence you are referring to is actually a type of gun licence and nothing to do with actual hunting |
