Family › Re: Not In Love With My Wife Anymore! by jlo247(m): 2:58pm On May 17, 2017 |
VicMadich88: I met my wife (very beautiful, humble Igbo gal) in 2012, and we've been datin since then. We both from Imo State...
On tht same year we met, I moved to south Africa to study an still residing in SA. I see her twice a year, and she visits SA as well. We got married ths past February, and few days after our wedding, I had to return.
But now I feel I made a very big mistake by marrying her, not because she's bad for me bt because I've realized I'm not in love with her anymore. I don't know wat to do, she's such a wonderful lady. God fearing, sings in the church choir, young and beautiful.
How should I let her know that i'm not in love with her anymore? I'm scared of the embarrassment my parents will bare with all of this? Our pastor at church? Her family? I don't believe in divorce, so are my parents...but what do I do in this situation?. my advice to you is that you should try to reduce the distance between you and wife because distance is always a barrier for any kind of relationship. Try to let her live with you let say for months and let see what will happen. |

With all these your explanation is like me too will prefer jos to other states that I chose. gunners160: First and foremost,I have lived in both states for nothing less than 3 years,so whatsoever I write, I am writing from the experiences I had and things I have seen. My reasons why Plateau state is better are as follows 1. Cost of living: There is no doubt that Abuja is for the rich therefore, gaining a ground as a young person menh it is not easy. In Abuja, things are mostly sold three times the normal price because majority of people believe the person is earning well. At Jos,things are relatively cheap there in fact I do buy potatoes for as low as 150 and tomatoes as low as 100 naira. A thousand naira can take you for a week and have change to save. 2. Transportation: My sis,no matter how well you earn, transport will take 60% of the money. As a young graduate, one can't even think about living in the major city because the cost of housing alone for a single room ranges from 80k- 150k even in outlet places, a room goes for 40k. Transportation in Abuja per day cost almost 5huns - 4 huns per day while at Jos it is just between 200- 250 per day. There is nothing like "I beg help me out" 3. Electricity: Abeg ,who so ever tells you that there is constant power supply in Abuja is a big lie. Abuja electricity comes once in a while with an outrageous NEPA bill don't fall for that gullible lies. Electricity is much more constant at Jos than in Abuja. 4 . Growth and Development: The best place to develop one self is in a place where one is given opportunity. Plateau states gives a lot of opportunity to the youths and which often leads to specialization. At Jos,there is room for one to start any business that is legal and earn well because you will surely be patronized and due to the crisis there, their is little competition unlike Abuja where there are lots of competition and lots of expectation 5. Weather: If you here " no weather like Jos" then that is right. Jos weather is perfect for the skin and cool to the body. 6. Shelter : Getting a shelter in Abuja is hard .Majority of landlords charge high when it comes to house rent. With 20k,you can get a gud house at Jos. 7 Hospitality and love: Abuja is a mind your own business place nobody send you and you no send anybody. You eat,no body cares, you don't,nobody cares so it is mostly based on your own stuff unlike Plateau where their is room for interaction and accommodation. |

Have been in the University of Lagos for the past three years if am not mistaking, during my first and second years on this campus there wasn't any student union except from those faculties and departmental associations. Then we still have one voice; during this period, the University management listened to our cries when ever we demand for their intervention in some issues. If I can't remember all events I can still remember the one of the cits director who closed the University portal while some students are yet to register for their courses. We students made a peaceful protest and the school management came to our aid. So tell why do we need ULSU? Let ask ourselves do we need any ULSU to fight for us? Who ULSU Help? What are those things they have fought for and at the end we achieve them? What are does basic things we have achieved from ULSU? I can even say it anywhere that without ULSU problems are solved with ULSU problems are............ . To be candid ULSU don't hustle for us they only hustle for themselves. Who they eep gan? Don't let ULSU deceive us again let do what the school management want and let stand by our self instead of standing by someone else. Remember that you can choose ur choice but u can't choose the consequence of ur choice.

Imagine, a lecturer will be boasting that in the previous years no one have A in his course. In fact in my own school after u have seen your score on the score sheet that you have A Or B in a particular course don't be carried away with your score because when the broad sheet comes out one may end up carrying the course it happens to a friend of mine. And ur course adviser will only advice you to go and re write the course that you had already passed. Our course adviser are not helping us at all. Sometimes when u meet them for help it may be on results issue or another thing they will tell u that they don't want to have any misunderstanding with any lecturer so go and help ur self. All this shit cannot happen in private University. All the same I rep UNILAG |
