stefanbanach: Because the yorubas cannot peacefully rule themselves. Their history is filled with internal conflicts that lasted for a century. Today it's egba vs ibadan, Tomorrow it's modakeke vs ife etc. Next week, awori will try to pull out of the yoruba nation. It was why they wrote to the British and asked the British to come and rule them. This rubbish from someone without history. We know Ibo people do not have any significant history worth to be discussed. It will be a waste of precious time for any Yoruba person to be concerned about Ibo history or matter. You people have taken it upon yourselves to be wailing and whining about Yoruba's history. It sucks to be Ibo Walahi! Was there any election at all? Ibos don't read at all. They are revisionists. |

bellachibaby: A new batch of Nigerian migrants have been deported from Germany less than 48 hours after members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) attacked Senator Ike Ekweremadu, a former Deputy President of the Senate.
The Enugu Senator was billed to give a keynote address at the Second Annual Cultural Festival and Convention put together by the Ndi-Igbo Germany in the city of Nuremberg on Saturday, August 17, 2019 when he was physically assaulted.
The IPOB members while attacking the Senator accused him of working with the Federal Government to proscribe the group in the South East while followers of the group were being killed.
The deported migrants according to reports left Frankfurt Airport at around 8 am on Monday. They are expected at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport between 2 pm and 3 pm.
It is not yet clear if the clampdown is in anyway related to the assault on Ekweremadu although the German Police reportedly carried out several arrests on the day of the attack.
“The flight will be from Frankfurt on Monday. For those who have been given the information, the plane will take off by 8 am and arrive in Nigeria between 2 pm and 3 pm,” Co-ordination Activist for Network Refugees 4 Refugees, a political platform for refugees and migrant self-organisation based in Stuttgart, Germany, Rex Osa, revealed as he spoke to The Nation.
See a video of the attack below:

Most of the Yams they eat during the annual Yam festivals are gotten from Yoruba and Benue land. |
