@bolded, it's obvious the only reason you're considering saying sorry is because she now earns much more than you do, and you fear she might hold it against you or start treating you the way you used to treat her. Sir, you were evil to her. You probably put her through series of depression phases, and you would have been doing that up till this moment if she was still earning less than you. And you're telling us you're just like that. You're just like how? Just naturally wicked? How would someone that treats his wife like this treat strangers?
You can't even bring yourself to say you're sorry to your wife of over a decade. And please, don't say you just wanted her to braze up (whatever that means). That's what you tell yourself to get rid of the guilty conscience that's obviously eating you up. You obviously know that's not true and that's why you feel this way. Acknowledge your wicked acts without excuses, that's the first step to your peace of mind.

I pity the poor woman. People like you hardly appreciate others. So if you're saying she's such a nice person, then she must have really endured so much to the extent that you're even surprised yourself. She might not tell you this, but she hasn't forgotten how you made her feel. People forget what you say or do but not how you make them feel. The apology you're yet to give started losing its value the moment she started earning more than you, and if you wait till she officially brings up the past before you eventually apologize, the apology will be almost valueless. You are a lucky man. This lady has shown you love that even your hardened heart cannot deny and it's unlikely she'll stop now. So just go and apologize whichever way you know how to, she has obviously at peace with her fate.

Two important things:
1) For the sake of your mental health, don't give yourself excuses for treating her the way you did. Saying things like "I only wanted her to braze up", "that's just who I am", etc. might make you feel better temporarily but the guilty conscience will always come back.
2) Your attitude after the apology is more important than the apology itself. Anybody can apologize but it takes a genuine heart to make changes.

He has shown commitment to being inclusive by carrying along non-elitist suburbs, impressed with the Light Up project that has changed the face of Lagos roads and his 25 billion Employment Trust Fund seeks to confront youth unemployment head on.

Aisha Buhari

The first lady dared to speak her mind in an interview with the BBC Hausa language service that was mildly critical of her husband’s politics and was promptly dismissed by the president as belonging to ‘’the other room.” But Mrs. Buhari has proven to be made of sterner stuff, speaking out for society’s underprivileged and raising money and goodwill for the rehabilitation of the victims of Boko Haram’s insurgency.

Ibrahim Dankwambo

The ‘’Change” mantra that swept through the entire North during the last general elections did the Peoples Democratic Party no good but Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe state emerged from the political tsunami as the last man standing, managing to win a second term and under the PDP platform too. Dankwambo’s major achievements are in road construction, education, infrastructure and water supply.

Lawal Daura

The Department of State Security Service is once again a force to be reckoned with and the fear of Lawal Daura and his men is only the beginning of wisdom. Irrespective of constitutional implications, Daura’s DSS has launched sting operations on judges deemed to be on the take, unscrupulous bureau de change operators and on corrupt politicians and government office holders.

Mamman Daura

A former journalist and industrialist, Mamman Daura holds no official cabinet or government position but his family ties to the President Buhari and the complete trust that the President has reportedly in him has placed him in a position where he is able to influence who and what gets the president’s approval- or attention for that matter. According to inside sources, federal appointments almost always receive the Mamman Daura seal of approval.

Ayo Fayose

You may not always agree with Fayose’s methods- and there is too much to disagree with,- but it is clear to see that Fayose swings from the thuggish, uncouth rabble-rouser image to a sometimes volatile, but thorough leader of the opposition. As his party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) continues to shrink into irrelevance, Ayo Fayose represents the last stand, leading the defence and fighting hard to stay afloat. He may still have a lot of fight left in him.

Abba Kyari

The Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari is no ordinary domestic aide. Kyari enjoys a close and robust relationship with his principal and leverages on it to influence everything within government from policy making to presidential appointments. He was recently named to the six-man board of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)

Senator Makarfi

The former Kaduna state Governor and Senator now has a running gig as chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). It has fallen on Makarfi to lead a party in crisis and restore some semblance of confidence to a bruised property but Makarfi has so far spent his early days battling a challenge from the faction led by Ali Modu Sheriff. Crucial court victories relating to the Ondo state gubernatorial polls might prove that he has staying power.

Amina Mohammed

The Minister for Environment is one of the shining lights in Buhari’s cabinet. Apart from leading negotiations on behalf of Nigeria at the Cop 21 climate talks, Mohammed’s ministry supervised the launch and provided leadership commitment to the clean-up of Ogoniland, as recommended in the 2011 United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) report on Ogoniland and other associated sites.

Ycee speaking during an exclusive interview with hipTV said he didn’t really drop out of school but tlrather he putschool on hold because this year have been a busy one for him.

“It didn’t really make sense for me not to go for classes and then seat for an exam he is not readyfor or try to “rugged it or do the exam anyhow” the Jagaban crooner said.

DSP Mohammed Alkali, pictured above, was beheaded by some political thugs in Rivers state at Omoku, Onelga Local Government Area in the state on Saturday December 10th. He is survived by his father, wife and two children. He was the eldest son of a retired Police Commissioner, Y. A. Alkali whose last assignment was Commissioner of Police, Lagos State in 2012. May his soul rest in Peace. Amen.

Three people died in a stampede at Prophet TB Joshua Synagogue Church of All Nations church in Ikotun, Lagos state on Saturday December 10th. According to reports, the stampede happened during the church’s healing service when many of the worshipers thronged to meet with the Prophet.

Three of them collapsed as they made their way through the crowd to see the prophet. They were confirmed dead at the Isolo General Hospital where they were rushed to.
