Henry was a going kid that held so much promise. Note Ikpeba, Trezeguet, Henry scored at France '98 World Cup. Henry was bought as a promising young kid and flopped. Arsene Wenger saved his career by signing him. Just as Arsene saved Kanu's career too.

You are derailing the argument. The point is that, Sanchez has a better chance to make it to the top of the game than Hazard due to Arsene's history in horning out the best from players.

I agree with you when it comes to the NFF. We also have the problem of the NFF members not organizing enough friendly games for all levels of the National team.

Look at how the friendly game against Ghana exposed Emem Eduok, Mfon Udoh, Sokari and Joseph Nathaniel.

The NFF needs more organization like clubs do. Having teams of U13, U15, U17 etc. Then friendly matches are needed locally and internationally.

So more empowerment of coaches and friendly games will give a lot of local and foreign base players chances to expose themselves to help the Nation and their families.

That was how some critics years ago, argued with me that duff was a better player than robben at chelsea, all because a very young robben who was still developing his game had a poor conversion rate and end product.

I wrote this about Hazard a while ago:

Zizou is just making Bale feel good, so they can sign him. Zizou is a long die hard supporter of Hazard. I knew that long before I ever watched Hazard at Lille.

Bale had a wonderful season but Hazard was the better player.

Hazard kicking that Ball boy against Swansea in the Carling Cup is really what took the chance of Hazard winning the award.

Yet upon the kicking, he was still nominated. Think of it.

What Arsene Wenger did with Thierry Henry and Anelka was amazing. You can not compare that to Mourinho's work on Lampard. Lampard was a top midfielder before Mourinho's arrival. Thierry Henry was a Juve flop and Anelka was a seventeen years old teenager who became the best young player in the World.

Thierry Henry was a flop at Juve. Coach Arsene Wenger signed him and coached him/utilised him to be one of the best in the world. Mourinho has not taken a player and groomed him to one of the best in the World.

Lampard was not flop before Mourinho took over Chelsea. Chelsea finished second in the league before the arrival of Mourinho. Terry and Lampard were already performing before Mourinho came.

As for Drogba, was never rated as the best player in the world.
