The most annoying part is that, the CC keep saying i was charged for callertune. I challenge them to prove the exact time and date i initiate the said callertune service. Ever since then, they have been ignoring my tweet.

Technology Market / Who Will Save Subscribers From Globacom Extortion ?? by jobsat34(m): 6:37pm On Jun 29, 2016
I dont know if i m in the right section but i hope the Mod will do the needful if mecessary.

I have noticed for some time, how fast my call credit got exhausted. So i decided to be keeping log of call notification alert. It happens on monday mornin and i notice that my call card drop to #7 from over #100 i left there the previous night.

Immediately sent a tweet to @glocustomercare and i was told that #100 has been deducted for callertune which i never activated by any chance. I was told that it would be rectified and i later got an SMS that its has been resolved but was not.

Subsequent tweets to Glo cc are being ignored. Reason i decided to call them out on this forum. I trust the fellow social media warrior to support me in this fight against extortions by these service provider.

Phones / Re: My Experience Using Tecno L8 + Few Specs by jobsat34(m): 9:55pm On Jun 06, 2016
Oyindebrah:
Before I start my writeup,Please "I do not want attacks from any tecno fan or hater" because this is the truth about the so called Tecno L8.

I saw people talking about their experiences and all that so I decided to menion what they didn't mention about the device.

My Tecno L8 is a champagne gold colour with it shiny metal appearance...

The Tecno L8 is indeed a nice phone, most people said its heavy and all sorts that almost discouraged me in buying it but it isn't heavy at all,its just like normal devices.

Battery aspect: Well i really do like affordable phones with good battery capacity,The phone is5050mAh and I watched a 2hours movie on my phone and can you imagine that it deducted "15%" from my battery percentage... Like seriously?? I thought it was 5050mAh??why's my battery even deducting like its 3000mah or less,I'm really pissed off because of that.

Camera level..The camera pixel is quiet amazing though at least more that what I expected from Tecno Mobile because they are known for making bad camera's for their devices but this L8 camera is just 2mp front and back is 8mp (check my home screen picture) it was taken with the front camera.

The phone doesn't have a fast charge option included in it specification but it actually charges faster than I expected. And yeah yeah,I can screenshot with three fingers swiped on the screen and i think that's because of the inbuilt hiOS. Also allow me to talk the RAM,the L8 is 1GB Ram,but my device doesn't hang at all because I make use of my hiOS often.

I made an unboxing video, and this is the link

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_0LnsHYhNE Please watch, share and LIKE ..Thanks guys

pls how do you switch to the front camera on this device
I mean wen you want to take selfie
Business / Re: Banning Forex Trading And Sports Betting Promotion by jobsat34(m): 3:29pm On May 03, 2016
Seun:
Dear Nairalanders,

We are thinking of completely banning the promotion of forex trading and sports betting on Nairaland.

Forex day-trading and sports betting are fundamentally fraudulent because they're promoted as a quick way of making money whereas due to mathematical facts, the only people who make money are the middlemen and marketers. The "investors" almost always lose their money.

In our experience, it's not enough to warn Nairaland members about the dangers of forex day-trading and sports betting. The promise of quick profit is just too much for thousands of vulnerable Nairaland members to resist. The only way to protect them is complete censorship.

We believe that the complete ban of such content will make Nairaland a better platform for discussing legitimate entrepreneurship and finance.

What do you think? Please click 'like' if you like the idea; thanks.

Dear Sir,

I will suggest a hidden forum with strict warning and disclaimer.
there should be no option to "like" or "quote" any post in this section.
participating member should disclose their age (on their profile page) to show they are not less than 21years if possible.

Rds,

As long as it gets easier and cheaper to import from China, expect more job losses as industries close shop.

that will not be the case sir..

those items that were banned from accessing the forex will still remain banned.
while yuan will not be sold to those BDC as well.
nothing changes as far as access to forex for imported goods is concern

Business / Re: CBN Forex Policy: Local Manufacturers Happy As Production And Sales Leap By 50% by jobsat34(m): 11:01pm On Jan 24, 2016
Jorussia:
The CBN Forex policy will definitely promote the fortunes of local manufacturers, but the fortunes of importers have nosedived this past few months that CBN started the policy. In my own opinion, i think the CBN should relax the policy in order to accommodate the importers, since we still import most of commodities that we consume as a nation.

the restriction only affect those importing goods that can be sourced locally.
other goods that can not be source locally can access forex through CBN so far its legit..

Career / Re: I Want To Sue My Employer For Terminating My Appointment Without Reason by jobsat34(m): 12:04pm On Jan 24, 2016

Thank you all for your contributions,I forgot to add this ,
When I noticed she was not at peace with me and didn't want me to learn,I stylishly attached myself to guy who taught me how to use the software, when she discovered I could use the software, she stopped giving me assignments.

yu shud be careful when considering taking legal course against ur ex employer over termination...

a former colleague once attempted d same, but was advice to rather negotiate a better payoff peacefully rather than seeking redress in court..

these days, the employers re wise. The guy was made to understand that depending on the reason for the termination, one cannot just sue the employer especially if it is stated that " service no longer required".

if the above is the case, just peacefully negotiate a better payoff. however, if its termination of appointment, you can seek legal advice as this will be term as not being given a fair hearing before termination.

above all, who knows what God has in stock for you.. maybe yu shud move on to ur Glory...
