mostob: 1. Lookman is not an upgrade on all the left wingers we have. Add the facts that he is not exactly the profile we need up top and the high transfer fee. I doubt the rumour is legit.
2. Forest are still negotiating the transfer fee (personal terms agreed though) so it has nothing to do with Merino's deal. Sociedad President was not happy with the payment structure which delayed the deal. He probably didn't want the installment payments.
3. I want Kiwior and Zinchenko to stay. We will need the depth. At least till January so we can see how Timber progresses.
4. Martinelli at CF won't work. He doesn't have the frame. All are good points and number 3 and 4 is valid. Especially number 4. Personally, I don't think Martinelli will make it here as a striker except it's like a 2-man striker or he plays the way Arteta used Auba (which I'll prefer). But as a main striker, I doubt |

Lush100: .
I think Arteta will prefer lookman than Victor . Merino deals means Nketah deal is done by Noth..Forest Only fine details remain. Ramsdale also seem done probably Wolves. My only concern is Saka deputy. Other outgoings should be
And our number 24. Sell either Zinny or Kiwor. If cala ball passing and defending is good I will say sell Kiwor keep Zinnny and move him to midfield. Martinelli should be tried at CF I repeat. Yeah, we just need to wait and see how this window finishes. Edu say big thing is coming and it's only 8 days remaining. So fingers crossed. |

Shegzdave: I’m just so happy for the team and I’m sure when we win the league this season, the joy will be X2 But not picking White is bad cause man was spectacular last season, but are you sure it’s because of the shithousery or because of the National team ish cause I don’t trust those people
I’m glad cause this is the team I envisage we build some years ago and now here we are, it’s now to crown it it Trophies Lol, it's not national team oo. PFA awards is voted by all the players after being provided by top 3 nominees by the epl.... ....It's one of the reasons I suspected the players fit revenge after all the whole things Ben White did last season cos normally that thing is painful if you're at the receiving end oo . My Brother na trophies remain now oo, starting from this season. I don too get confidence and I don back am up with mouth making I just hope our dear club no fall our hands |

mostob: 45? Edu is not joking with this sell-on stuff o. Heard there is a 25% sell-on in Tavarez' s contract as well.
He bulked up a bit before going on loan sha. The loan didn't just work out for him ni Lol.. I was surprised when I saw the sell on clause. Almost 50% oo Tavarez own make sense too. It's good we're getting all these sell on clause on players. Na real investing in futures be that The loan didn't work out because the coach that requested for him when Arsenal loaned him was sacked and the new coach doesn't fancy him. Hopefully, his time in deportivo will be good. |

Shegzdave: I’m so happy for Gabriel Malghaes, man is getting the flowers he deserves He really really deserves it and I'm really happy for him. Man has come a long way. But not only him, I'm happy for Arsenal as a whole, seeing that we've the highest representative and almost the highest last season, it just proves that we're getting back where we belong. When last have we had such a representatives in PFA?? Raya, Gabriel, Rice— it's their first time and I'm glad they must be really elated. It might have been six (with Ben White probably) but I'm having a feeling that he's shithousery and tricks he was doing finally counted against him in votes voted by the players |

Roland17: Patino's situation is a tricky one and I can understand why Arteta doesn't see a future with him. As most are aware, Patino has obvious deficits in the physical aspect of the game and the hope was for him to gain some physical experience that can help in his growth but that did not happen in the Championship. Patino's style of play involves holding on to the ball to dictate tempo and direction, especially when transitioning as a DLM but the lack of physical strength means he easily loses physical battles deep inside his half and that puts his team in bad situations. He has tremendous ball technique and IQ but Arteta doesn't have the time to work on that aspect of his game, especially when you have midfield players like Skelly, Nathan who don't have such deficits and are ready for 1st team involvement. Excellent point boss. Tbh, when I first saw him play that Carabao cup (in which he scored), my mind was like " I sure this guy will make it here with the way he's skinny and kpengele like this". But with the rave reviews I was hearing about him, I thought maybe he can make it here, that perhaps he's technicality will see him through (perhaps like D. Silva). I really understand your point and it's not the end of the road for him. Spanish clubs is a good place to hone his skills and technicalities and I believe with time and growth, he'll bulk up too. Good thing is that we have a good sell on clause on him |

mostob: Like Musa Yunus and Ismael Bennacer, I hope he finds his way. He is in the last year of his contract so the price will always be low. The sell-on clause make sense sha. Lol... It's 45% sell on clause. It really make sense. I believe he'll find his way. Spain is more technical and as he grows, I believe he'll bulk up. Na small pikin body deh worry am now |

mostob: I actually want Timber to start.
1. He is right footed so it will be easier to mark Bailey (assuming he starts).
2. He will give us a good option in attack too.
Yea, the president is in London. Be like the transfer dey pain am with the way he was lamenting yesterday. I heard we will be paying in installment. Yeah, especially that number two. Not only will he be defensive be he'll also put a good shift attacking forward. I highly doubt Zinny go play on weekend sha but we go see. Lol, it's good. Make Dem do settle the Merino deal once and for all abeg. Hopefully the installments no go much so that we fit see money buy attacker |

BlueRayDick: Fair enough. But we should be mindful enough that the manager will most likely have his plan which may involve the LB inverting into midfield when we are on the defensive side.
I won't be surprised if Zinchenko is started ahead of others just for that single reason. Yeah, that's one of the factors I put into consideration too I believe both of them can invert esp since it's one of the reasons they were even bought. I'll be more surprised if Zinny starts on Saturday sha |

BlueRayDick: What if I tell u that White and Zinchencko were both rated the same point (6) by most rating websites for their respective performances in the game vs Wolves?
Even Timber who came on gave the ball away which nearly resulted in a goal against us.
I am not stanning Zinchenko o, but he was not the poorest player on the pitch that day for us sha. No, oo. I'm not even saying he's the poorest player on the pitch on Saturday(even Saliba gave away some cheap balls). Far from it. I'm just saying Zinny is someone who might be our weak link(due to "you know why" ) and he might be easily targeted by Emery and Aston Villa. The White, Saliba and even Timber instances might be a one-offs but can we say same for Zinny when it comes to defensive actions and not switching off? That was just my point of concern. |

mostob: I think Timber will start judging by his cameo vs Wolves. I'm particularly worried about that Onana. He is their headmaster. Saliba and Gabriel must be at alert. Aston Villa shouldn't be underrated. Yeah, probably. At least let one of them start then I'll assured defensively. Emery go too exploit that side if him see Zinny for there Read Sociedad president is in London to finalize the deal |
