Imagine playing DM for months, then you now switch to Cm, then you now switch to DM again. No wonder his progressive passes was even hit ystdy plus he showed signs of rustiness |

Jokerman: Till today juventus still have reverence for the GOAT, for the 3 years he spent with them and his achievements.. you haters always come up with Narrative. Haters ke? Anybody who say the truth Is always branded hater. The difference between his time at Man u and Juventus is that he left Juventus at the right time before he was being humiliated by Allegri(cos Allegri made it known that he wouldn't be in his plans like that just like Ten Haag) The handwriting he saw at the wall In Juventus, he couldn't see it in Man u. If he had seen it quickly, He wouldn't have left like this |

Shegzdave: I don’t know why Arteta keep playing him in that DM position since that Man Utd first leg, they should be fast with the Caicedo deal cause Lokonga isnot the best alternative to Partey and Rasta man is injured.. He can get Xhaka kind of redemption if he’s sent on one or two loan spell to develop himself. I’ll be glad if he improves. Have you been following Nuno Tavares in Marseille, that dude will be good as a winger cause he score goals in the team. Well, he should go on loan first, let's see if he'll improve. As for Tavarez, he's dipped and his positional awareness and positional indiscipline is now showing. He was good first few months of the season but recently his being not up to it |

iamoyindamola: How If you remember how we fell to 3 straight defeats last season you no go even break arteta head for even putting him on MD squad I remember berating him last season thinking that he was a 6 and all. But after analysing his game and reading research on him, I found out he wasn't really a 6 or any type of DM for that matter but Arteta wanted to build him as one. It's the main reason towards the end of last season I told Spy that he'll excel as a Cm and not a DM not to talk more of a lone DM. This season, Arteta doesn't plan to use him as a DM, so I understand he's being used there out of necessity. Even though I will critique his game but I wouldn't be harsh as I was last season were I was all over him. |

iamoyindamola: That's what I am saying Odegaard must have been correcting or encouraging him before now It's not normal for human to react without prior reasons you sef think am Like you said saliba and gabu committed errors which the fans and players backed them because it's not everytime But as there ever been a match awilo look good, one of us said he's better in xhaka role he was played there and was also terrible Nothing arteta haven't tried with him olule las las Abegi the guy is not worth it I don't blame Odegaard for reacting that way cos I feel it's out of emotions (I mean, Sambi just made our pressing game futile) . I just feel that what he did wasn't right by publicly berating him, just in case of next time. But mehn, Lokonga Is 23yrs oo. Shegzdave: I’m pretty sure they’ll work it out and I hope it boosts the confidence in the dude, Ordegaard is a pretty good captain although his emotions got the best of him . All I see in that Lokonga is a young dude void of confidence and I’ll be glad if he improves so that those calling for his head will celebrate him like they did Xhaka. The best way for Lokonga to rediscover himself is by playing away from that DM position. Yesterday, even his progressive passes and movement was found wanting, something associated with lack of confidence and match rustiness. I don't know if he might get the kind of Xhaka's redemption here cos of the amount/caliber of midfielders coming through but I'll be glad if he can pull it through like Xhaka, else I'll just wish him all the best away from here. |

Jokerman: The mistake of Ronaldo was coming back to Man utd.
Man utd destroyed his confidence. Imagine in the space of 2 months, form dropped drastically mentally and physically. From 24 goals at 37 years, to hitting goal posts etc... it went that bad.
Should have remained at Juventus, where he was more respected.
I'm sure, he will get back to himself, as he always does. That's how they thought he won't do well at Juve, till he got 101 goals and 30 assists in 131 games, winning all trophies and individual awards.
England media will always have beef with Ronaldo, Mourinho or Pogba... Lol...Did you say this when he came to Man u at first? I guess you're one of those who supported his coming back to Man u, now you're seeing it as a mistake And don't even call juventus here. Juventus that benched him during their most important match of the season in order to qualify for UCL. Allegri was ready to give him the Ten Haag treatment and it would have been worse than even man u. Man saw the hint at juventus and ran for his dear life |

Shegzdave: That act by Ordegaard might just kill the little confidence Lokonga had. Even though I don’t really believe in that boy filling Partey shoes, the pitch wasn’t the best place to correct him being the captain.
The dude didn’t wait to clap the fans, he went straight into the dressing room after the match even when the players were clapping the fans ... I just hope that Odegaard talk to him and tell him that it was emotions that got the better of him. That wouldn't make him less of a captain or leader and it'll give Lokonga some reassurance that he isn't being treated differently. Hopefully, they will work it out. |

iamoyindamola: We keep protecting this awilo yet he's regressing with games I support odegaard open criticism and the boy is one stupid arrogant piece of shiit to work out on the fans Lol .. it's not about protection but doing the right thing. One of the big reasons why there's bond and unity amongst all our players instead of rife Is the ability for them to stand by each other publicly if any of them made a mistake. I remember Saliba did an own goal against Leicester and Odegaard walked up to him to reassure him. Gabriel did a grave mistake against Fulham two matches later and he even admitted that the reassurance and confidence his brothers (as he himself called them) gave him was what gave him strength to carry on enabling him to even go for that winner. Should we talk last season about same Gabriel mistake against wolves where he wanted to apologize for his mistake and Ramsdale told him to forget about it and move on. Why then would it now feel right to criticize Sambi openly? Why then should his own be different? |

iamoyindamola: I still feel we can go for Douglas luiz again adding awilo to spice up the deal
Monaco bidded 7m for awilo we rejected cause we are limited in midfield
I wonder why arteta didn't start ESR ahead of viera yesterday We can't go for Luiz since he signed a new long term deal. If we couldn't get him by August when his contract is expiring by June, how can we get him when it's now a 5-yr contract. We should just look for another player sha. Dem suppose full French league It's not as if arsenal really "reject" the bid(Sambi). We just made it clear that we won't sell or loan him UNTIL we get a Midfielder in. ESR didn't make the squad. He wasn't injured during training (but not long term). So in order to serve as precaution, it was decided not to use him. Hopefully, he'll be available against Everton |
