mostob: Yea...wait, if We had score just before the ref went to review that penalty incident, would the goal have stood? Var would have paused our celebration and will tell the ref to review the handball. If it's a handball offence(as it was on Sunday), then our goal would have been cancelled and the Leeds penalty be taken. If it isn't a handball offence, then our goal would have stood So yeah, if we'd scored on Sunday it wouldn't have stood. |

Look at where all the argument started from. When you made that post and I replied sod09: Sakadinho player of the month
Haller to westham chai e pain me I don't understand?
Then you said this sod09: The guy is good, would have been a perfect replacement for auba if money they. Can use head and legs Then I replied with this sod09: The guy is good, would have been a perfect replacement for auba if money they. Can use head and legs Who ? Same Haller from west ham that I know?? Abi anoda one? And na so e start. Even Blueray and Afro.doc joined in telling you that Haller is not regarded as a top striker to take us to the next level. And all the happened when he was still at West ham before his move to Ajax. And you know say Blueray no dey agree with me on any firmino matter. So no mix up the two matter |

iamoyindamola: That Haller is a better cf than firminho Also he didn't flop at Westham I showed you link of how Westham struggle with pure 9 even chicarito struggled But no you want to use EPL as yardstick to grade a striker I don't think this was our original argument Tbh. I've never argued Firmino Vs Haller with you cos I don't see the basis. Also, you saying Westham struggle with a pure 9 is just you looking for soft landing for him. My guy have been dropping poor numbers before going to Westham but posted big numbers at Ajax but I'm to believe we should buy him because of your simplistic claim that "natural 9 doesn't shine in Westham"? Mind you, we had that argument before his move to Ajax oo Meanwhile, Firmino argument is a different discourse entirely because I said I preferred a striker like Firmino who loves to linkup with both his Midfielders and wingers(good interplay) aside scoring goals. Don't worry, lemme see if I can dig out our genesis of this Haller argument |

iamoyindamola: Klopp got Jota then Nunez because firminho is not great Yet the same Firmino is presently benching 100m Nunez and he's starting. But that's not even the point about all these dragging. You claimed that Haller is good for us and I showed you otherwise from his stint starting from Holland down to England. Now he was back to Holland and had a good season making balon d'Or top 20. So what are you really dragging me for? Is it that he's better than Firmino as a player or he's proving me wrong that he has the abilities to lead our attack. Which one? |

SMH. VAR could spot a 1cm offside but couldn't spot an offside as vivid as this. We could have lost 2 massive points yesterday. Worst part is that ref checked the screen and gave the PK, that's when the camera was now showing this offside angle. Omo, thank goodness say Karma was at work. |

iamoyindamola: If saliba engage him it's straight red Better to concede than collect red and commit the team to unnecessary pressure because you will collect red and still concede PK I learnt this from mourinho Lol, it's even common sense sef. No matter how, it's you don't use penalty or red card as option except it's a dying minute of the game |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 7:52pm On Oct 17, 2022 |
Spy360: Why I mentioned timing is clear because of the risk of a red card with much to play for. Gabriel's challenge on Richarlison was a technical foul and has no risk of red card. That of Saliba has the risk so different situations.
However, it is better to concede a penalty than to allow a player direct shot on open goal. It's that simple and players do it regularly. If you go one on one with a goalkeeper and beat him, he will clip your legs for a penalty than allow you to score. This happen all the time I wonder how you don't get it. While I agree for that red card and it'll be foolish for him to engage but you see that bolded, check out how Ramsdale allowed vardy free reign to score the goal this season when he dribbled Ramsdale yet Ramsdale didn't foul him. Even ystdy when Rashford dribbled Pope, Pope didn't foul him either too. To do all those things is last option in last minute of the game. Aside that, it's never ever advisable to do the bolded |

Spy360: The timing of the game is important (53mins) because he would risk getting a red.
However, have you ever heard of the saying 'if you miss the ball, don't miss the man'?
Think about it. Lol, now it's about timing of the game? Thank God Saliba doesn't believe in the bolded, if not ehh. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 5:29pm On Oct 17, 2022 |
Spy360, Saliba made a mistake in the 53rd minute when he was attempting to dribble out from the back but Bamford stole the ball and ran through on goal with one on one with Ramsdale.
Saliba left him to run free without engaging him instead he banked/relied on Ramsdale to make a save and thankfully Ramsdale did.
That Exactly was what I expected Gabriel to do against tottenham instead of stupidly sliding Richarlison. God knows if Saliba had stupidly engaged Bandied the way Gabriel engaged Richarlison, maybe na different tori we dey talk now |

MorataFC:
2:3:5 With possession... Yes 235. Not the standard formation on paper but it only becomes active when a team is attacking with the ball. Once they lose possession, they revert back to another formation (either 442 or sort) The formation is what Klopp, Pep and recently Arteta is doing presently |

Leyqute: Sorry it was 4 goals. And you chop 5 for Man City hand. Both beating was last season.
I have adjusted the beating parameters. Hope you’re fine now. Lol, I'm not still fine oo. If it's one-offs, I agree but steady beatings, that I don't agree with. Klopp have only won Arteta 4-0 once while Pep have won Arteta 5-0 once too(both happened last season btw). I don't see how that is that is steady beating with such scoreline. Abi are you saying Pep is steadily scoring Ten Haag 6 goals just because he won him 6-3 once? |

BlueAngel444: lol you are harsh o, in a league where even pep no wan let go of Carling cup . Not rating Potter above Tuchel neither am I hyping him but I appreciate what he has done for one, making me interested in watching Chelsea games back to back.
I support Tuchel till this 2022, but this year Tuchel had been trash even in games we were winning or should be winning we would still lose and blame the players because we forgot who left such players on the pitch in the first place while not giving others a chance.
The only reason I even brought Tuchel into my posts is because of what some have been posting. Tuchel clearly had issues that was affecting his tactics, he wasn't the same person we hired or the same person that started 2021 season, last year Tuchel and this year's Tuchel were different.
People talk about Tuchel making finals with PSG, I supported Tuchel but didn't like that Lampard had to be sacked for it, but that finals Tuchel was too careful and he didn't take the loss well the next season and had issues with the board, not the first nor last time.
He lets players join but doesn't make use of them, who does that. How many young players left. Honestly with Sarri and Lampard I thought we have gone past that, I thought Tuchel would be different with Chalobah but the due started demanded 3 defenders. You were here na, so it's not about attacking Tuchel but some of us just had enough.
To be frank, Tuchel is limited, if Pep and city could consider Ronaldo and even make use of Haaland, Tuchel needs to redefine his attacking know how. You can't keep trying the same thing game after game, keep failing and keep hoping some miracle will change then come to media and say, it's the same old players This is very great and I understand all your points cos they're valid. At least, If one could Hail Potter to high heavens without any comparison with Tuchel or say he's better or more tactical than Tuchel, then I don't think they'll be any argument here. It was as if Tuchel did nothing noteworthy hear at all |
