I prefer Podence also because he plays exactly like Hazard except that he's injury prone and not too good for squad depth for a team like Arsenal that is not being protected by officiating crew.

Neto is also a fine player, EPL experienced, plays both wings, physically fit and looks deadly.

I don't know why people don't really rate Odoi like that. grin
Actually, this guy is injury prone and inconsistent so e no go make sense

While I know Odoi is talented but mehn, anything Chelsea I dey fear am. If to say na another club and he isn't injury prone, I would have agreed for his acquisition because he's still young, talented and can improve but as per say na Chelsea, make him just dey go

That's why I want us to get berge if partey is injured and we have big teams lining up in October
To be fair we don't need tielemans ATM maybe next season but with xhaka form and improvements I don't think so
As for winger I watched Neto yesterday abeg we don't need him we should get podence or gakpo instead since Anthony is going to man u
which club does berg plays for? Still Sheffield United or has he moved?

Lol, in terms of Neto and gakpo, I'll prefer Neto 10times over. I don't know about podence and his injury wahala sha and weda we've overcome it. Rumor sef is saying we're almost out of Neto deal. So fingers crossed who is the winger we might buy before end of Thursday.

Arteta for some reason values Sambi as Xhaka deputy so we might not even get Tielemans sef

If our Midfield and attack can stand up to theirs the way we did on Jan, I'll have no problems about our defence dealing with Halaand one on one

No disrespect to elneny but if we want to be taken serious we need another DM because city, lfc will roast us with elneny
We should go for sander berge we were all over him last season I don't know why we went for viera this season
We should let tielemans see if his contract and sign him for free in January
Sander berge and a winger will be good for this team
Agent odegaard can help us with berge
By next season we should be looking for partey replacement I am tired of his injuries abeg I don't blame him though he has played his prime in Spain
And he too like sex, you can't mix sex and football together your waist will suffer
Heaven knows I don't believe that injury ish sha. I just believe it's rotation purpose and to keep Zinchenko and Partey fresh and strong especially against upcoming Man u. I'll believe this injury ish if I didn't see both, yes both, start against Man u.

Also for Elneny, why I believe he's not of Partey's quality and that big clubs will win us arguably with him starting (aside Liverpool and Manchester city which will be certain), I still feel he's very good against the small teams and that's the teams we're mostly meeting every week. It's a good thing he played against Fulham and for the first time in a long while my mind did not skip that Partey was not in a lineup cos I knew how important Elneny was last season. What we just have to do is to manage Partey efficiently as he's injury prone and I believe this are the sort of games to do that. Elneny might not be a world beater but he's a good squad depth who isn't causing rancour about not starting while bringing in a good performance when called upon. That's the kind of squad depth one should have especially against small teams and Tbh he did well to me on Saturday.

Ben White have really been good this past two games. He's hardly beaten one on one neither is he beaten in aerial duels. His attacking aspects have also improved too plus his crosses isn't bad. In fact, I love those his low crosses as they seem deadlier and can pick out a Man.

I know Tomiyasu is good as he have all these attributes too but if we look at it on the positive side, with the way White is going, we'll have two good RBs (White and Tomi) as well as two good RCBs(White and Saliba) without any drop in quality.

Squad depth is very essential and I'm glad how our depth is really taking shape.

I don’t know if there was something significant about yesterday sha , but I saw James’ sister watching against leceister yeaterday too. ( Maybe it’s something about female teams watching their male counterparts this weekend , I dunno ) .

By the way I love how the ladies jubilate for that Gabriel’s goal , I follow arsenal ladies on IG and I saw a video they posted about the ladies celebrating the goal. This is a good time for us and I hope it lasts really long. I’m happy Arteta is getting his mojo small small .

Having watched the All or Nothing documentary , one can easily relate with the atmosphere of things at the emirates …… I mean I could visualize Arteta with his funny Spanish accent telling the boys to run and run and run, press the opponents and make sure they get the ball when they lose it cheesy….. I could also visualize him using the F-word hundreds of times at half time while addressing them ….. Then I could feel the kinda love that would be shown Gabriel by the gaffer and the team as a whole after the game in the dressing room.

I think most clubs should do more of this documentaries to carry their fans along with what exactly happens in the dressing room . Just look at the Auba situation, most fans who didn’t really fancy Arteta thought he handled it badly , but seeing how almost everyone was consulted including Edu, the club Lawyer , et al…. We could see Arteta was not in the wrong afterall
The way the ladies dey ginger when arsenal was going for both the equalising and winning goals ehh, you go know say na fans dem be grin.
I even a video on twitter the way Leah Williamson just dey ginger and celebrate every goal scored.

To be honest, That AON- Arsenal did a whole lot of good and I think that's another reason the fans are even more closer to the team and the love they showing to the players esp player like Xhaka who have received much love recently from them. You saw the way Arteta celebrated with Gabriel at full time?

This documentary have really done a whole lot of good to arsenal. It makes the fans to feel really more connected to the inner workings of the club and they feel more carried along.

Thoughts on the game

1.. Yesterday proved the maturity and development this team have grown both in Mentality and tactically. While I wanted us to win but I was always thinking "what if we concede first against this resolute Fulham team with a dogged defence and good keeper, how do we react"?. Well, we did it in a worst possible way and I love the way we reacted with the first one being

i. Tactically— This game proves the reason why Ben White is preferred for a RB over Tomi as it helps us switch easily to a back 3 in order to pour more bodies in attack . Arteta proved ystdy how he's improved on this tactical side by ringing in the changes, introducing Nketiah for Tierney and switching to a 352 formation. This was a clear tactical pattern unlike last season where Arteta would just bring Nketiah, ESR and Pepe just for the sake of having attackers in the pitch to bring goals. Preseason have been good and Arteta maximized it to the fullest. Kudos to him!!.

ii. Mentality — Who noticed how revved up arsenal players were after the we conceded the first goal? It was as if the boys were saying, "we can't lose this" and it certainly rubbed on Gabriel who went on to have a far better game after that mistake thereby resulting to a goal. Same situation last season and arsenal players would be passive. Arteta tactics helped but these boys certainly made it possible with their desire and that resulted in a quick response goal by Odegaard.

2.. Saka was more involved yesterday compared to the way he was the past 3 matches. Good link up with both Odegaard and White. Finally, I'm sensing he's now coming to his best.

3.. Elneny proved an able deputy to Partey ystdy. Quick one touch passes, always available for a pass and some progressive play forward. Even though his quality wasn't as Partey's but his overall play ystdy was very very commendable. Tierney on the other hand was good but you could see the vast difference between him and Zinchenko in our style of play.

4.. Ramsdale was excellent for us. It's good to always have a GK that can help prevent a goal when opposition finally beats the defence and Ramsdale is proving a very good security on that. No wonder the defence have so much confidence in him and it's good to see he rarely disappoints them. Would have been my Motm if not for the performance of Odegaard and resolute Saliba.

5. I love this new version of Odegaard— Odegaard 2.0 grin. Not only is he creative but he's looking to score more goals unlike last season where he'd be looking to pass instead of to take a shot. We have a gem in our hands.

6.. Ben White is really growing in that RB role. I mentioned it last week that he improved in his attacking side last week compared to previous weeks and ystdy too was another good showing. I also love the maturity in his game even after having the yellow card and how he kept it clean but effective. Tomi might have time on the bench but at least we'll be safe in the knowledge that White is also playing very well. As for Xhaka, good luck to anybody that's planning to bench him grin

7.. I feel we're missing too many goal-scoring chances. Against Leicester and Bournemouth, we missed clean chances and in ystdy game we missed good chances that would have won us this game earlier enough. Off my head I can remember the Nketiah miss from the perfect up through ball from Odegaard just because Nketiah doesn't have a left leg. Nketiah and G.Jesus playing a weak shot straight to Leno and Saka missed chance. I hope we can start converting chances well enough but on the flip side it's good to see us create so many goal-scoring chances. That's a hallmark of a top team.

Great start to the game as Always, great win, great comeback by both arsenal and Gabriel, Great 3 points!!! Hopefully Zinchenko and Partey will be back by next week

Let's make it 5/5 against Aston Villa

#Top of the table
