patrickmuf:Exactly, this is what I expected but Tesla said it'll be an interesting match up. It's the reason I'm wondering how it'll be a match up with Man city when Man u haven't started dominating small/mid teams consistently |
TeslaFC:Hmmm.. I won't say it's an interesting match up just yet. Make I see how you guys will play other teams and how you guys attack will fare before I'll know whether it'll be a very interesting match up of the season |
Leyqute:But this is entirely different from what doc is saying na. Expectations is different from talent level which was the crux of the discussion from onset. Let's take out Ororo in that attack(cos him be boss obviously). Lemme see your combined front four between these two teams in terms of talent |
Expert17:Lol .. you say na "just" ![]() See as you make am look easy ![]() |
Ellexy:Lol... Make we dey see |
TeslaFC:Lol.. you never see Chon chin first ![]() You're really looking forward to Man u Vs Man city?? |
Trevor012:Lol .. obviously na ![]() But e no mean say Bruno no dey talented |
ChristoBam:Ronaldo have been banging goals everywhere — old or not. With the way this Halaand issue dey surface here anytime he scores goals, people will always say same thing if it was Ronaldo that was also scoring goals especially if you guys attack struggled the way it did last season. Infact, I presume the Ronaldo matter wey guys for talk for even worse pass the Halaand matter sef. I know how ecstatic most guys were when he signed. |
Trevor012:Lol, I can rate two players but that doesn't mean I won't prefer one over the other na. In my team, I always like Tierney in terms of ability but tell me to swap him with Zinchenko and I'll gladly do. But I cannot swap Odegaard for Bruno when I certainly prefer Odegaard na ![]() But if you fit dash me Bruno while I keep my Odegaard, I'll gladly accept sharp sharp |
Ellexy:Na from your mouth I take talk am. We go know tonight weda e reach God ear ![]() |
Spy360:Like I said I'm happy for him and he should improve for the betterment of himself and this team. But that's not really our bone of contention is it?? It's just like me dropping Tavarez goals alerts to you whenever he scores just to prove that he was good last season. Does it make sense?? ![]() I still stand on our bet and I no dey shift ground. Come December, if I don't see Balogun in the first team alongside Saka, just be ready for dragging. |
Spy360:Lol, I'm never expecting Lokonga to give Partey performance, Infact, I said I was impressed with his game. If he can just add a little more defensively in his game I wouldn't mind him starting Tbh. If he indeed was blocking passing lanes, I would have seen him doing lots of interceptions but I didn't sha. There was I reason I said he was positionally poor defensively ystdy and that's because even those passing lanes blockade, he was found wanting. He just needs to be good defensively at least. But in terms of attacking attributes, he's one of the reasons we dominated Aston Villa. Him try wella no doubts |
Ellexy:Lol, just win tonight match first Sir ![]() |
Oasis007:I was almost nodding head with what you're saying until I saw this bolded. Abeg, na new month we dey, if na joke stop am oo ![]() |
Arsenate: ![]() But that curse na only last season na. No fear, e don dey buried with last season ![]() |
LordAdam16:Touchè ![]() |
TrebleChamp: ![]() E no dey hard. Wetin shock me na when a whole Ronaldo sef fit receive criticism. Dem say na Ronaldo no dey make others score ![]() I wonder who Halaand go come make score |
Karleb:Exactly!!. And with time, there'll be two groups. Pro-haaland and anti-haaland ![]() |
TrebleChamp:Press ko, pressup ni? Na same people wey for still vex If Ronaldo had made that move to Man city and banged that goals too like Halaand. Guys here are saying Man u have a dysfunctional system but would want a traditional top 9 to fare well in that system. Same system were the two FBs are insulted(Shaw and Dalot), one of the CB is a clown(Maguire), the two base player are insulted(Mcfred), the team's attacking midfielder is insulted(Bruno), even the wingers sef the vex dem(Elanga, Rashford and Sancho). Anything for agenda sha ![]() |
afrodoc2:You sure say no be Expert the Expertise him dey talk about?? ![]() |
Karleb:Lol, I just dey laff anytime Halaand score goals you'll see some certain monikers start saying "God punish Ole for not signing Halaand even if na 6months". Fans wey fit turn on Ronaldo with him 18goals just because he doesn't press and stuff, Wetin come be Halaand. At least Man city create chances on a daily and almost half of his 9 goals are poaching goals, how many chances Man u dey create per game for Halaand to atleast poach even if him no see through pass score ? Na here almost everybody dey insult Bruno say him lack creativity, insult Dalot and Shaw say dem be nonsense with nonsense crosses, insult Mcfred say dem no get footballing sense. If dem fit dey vex for Ronaldo wey be Oga scorer with many touches per game, how much more Halaand wey him touches per game na average of 10? |
Happy new month guys August was really good b2b2b2b2b ![]() We pray that September will be exactly like this August ![]() |
Ellexy:Abi wan ask against who, then I come remember say una get match today. Carry on Sir ![]() |
Roland17:No worry boss, my own be say na just ending of December I go drag Spy. I just deh beg you and other well-meaning arsenal fans, make una just leave thread for me to deal with Spy that day ![]() |
daveP:Na just full fit squad I need entering into this month and next, then I'll be confident. If my squad is strong inclusive of Partey and Zinchenko, then I'm not sure weda we'll cry in October. But are you sure we have Chelsea in October. Check well Sir |
Lush100:Lol, forget those celebration police people. If only these people know how far we've come from, they wouldn't be yarning all those dust they're spewing |
My Thoughts On The Game 1... Our Press — There's something Jence.jyde(pardon me If I spelt it incorrectly biko) always say about the 1st 15min of every game and how it tells you how ready or not a team is prepared to take all 3points available and from our first 5 matches, we've always always started on the front foot with good pressing and aggressiveness. This mostly unsettles the opposition, their game plan and rhythm. It's no wonder our first goals mostly comes within an average minutes of first 25min. Shout out to Odegaard, Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus for always leading the press from the front, never stop running and always blocking passing lanes(Odegaard is very very good at this especially ystdy match). This enables teams to always punt long balls up for Saliba and Gabriel to easily win as we easily gain back possession. Kudos to Arteta and great work from him!!! 2.. It's always terrifying for defenders to face Gabriel Jesus cos this guy can't allow you to rest one bit. What's more is that with his average height he still tends to win lots of aerial ball not even because of outjumping defenders aerially but by just application of sense — simple nudge on the defender to unsettle them, the compete for the ball with the aerial height is reduced. He's done this time and time again and ystdy was no different. Another thing is how he links up play with Midfield and before you know it, you're already seeing him in the opponent's box. Sharp alertness to pounce on the rebound by Martinez to get us the first goal. Great game overall 3... Abeg, who give us this Xhaka cos this is not the Xhaka we knew all these while. I mean, where was these Xhaka all these years?? This guy is more creative, more sharp, really attacking and was everywhere on the pitch. One minute he's in the Midfield dictating play and bullying Aston Villa, the next minute he's making runs into the box for an attack, the very next he's defending and helping Sambi in the middle of the park. His presence was really felt ystdy. He seems to be enjoying this new system and it has really improved his other facets of the game. More of this from him as he seems to be improving every week. Like I said last week, goodluck to anybody that wants to bench him ![]() 4... All our subs where very very impressive ystdy as there wasn't a drop in quality by any one of them with the pick of the bunch being Nketiah and Tomiyasu. Nketiah really held the ball well, beat his man and made sure we escape pressure anytime we won the ball and Villa wanted to press us when the wanted the 2nd goal. A really excellent game from him. Tomi on the other hand really lockdown that RHS defensively both aerially and ground duels while doing his job attackingly. Same for Smith Rowe and Holding whose influence helped us to see out the game. 5... Kudos to our front 3 ystdy. The mentality these 3 have are top notch. Saka still not at his usual best but still very decent enough to make things happen and was unsurprisingly revived when Tomi was introduced. Martinelli capped his wonderful performance with a very nice goal. Easily Motm for me. How much did we say we bought nobodinho again? 6... Sambi had a great game. I was really really impressed with his game to be honest. Good composure under pressure, silky passes both long and short, know when to keep things simple and know when to drive ball forward and when to recycle the ball effectively. He was really immense ystdy. But that's the positives. He really underwhelmed defensively and his positioning defensively was poor. Xhaka and Odegaard really helped him defensively with their A-game pressing and tackling else we would have been cooked. I'm concerned about him against Man u not because of his attacking attributes but will his Defensive frailties come to the fore? Shout out to our defence. Really did a great job ystdy. Just unlucky for the goal. 7.. I hardly say this but then, did ref and Var really want us to drop point ystdy?? How was Saka not given a penalty for the way Mings blantantly "fling " him away. I mean what could be more clear than that. I was still reeling about that then their goal happened. Please is there anybody that can give any honest but logical reason why that goal stood? This is the first time I'm seeing a keeper clearly impeded and held in his own area even while struggling to get to the ball, yet Var officials still deemed it a goal. Omo!!. I don't want to even talk about the roughs those guys where doing as if they want to kill our players Thank God for our quick response, and clean undoubted goals if not, maybe dem fit chalk one off as offside. Lastly these guys mentality isn't talked about enough Hope Martin Odegaard will be fit for weekend's match. #Top of the table #5/5 #tough match at the weekend #COYG!!!! |
BlueRayDick:They're turning out to be the best signings of the decade for us Tbh. |
iamoyindamola: ![]() The guy and double mouth sha na 5&6. The way him for don dey finish Halaand as bundesliga fraud If to say him no dey bang those goals ehh... Even three pages for no contain am ![]() |
Spy360:okay oo, I dey wait oo ![]() |
iamoyindamola:Lol, E get people wey take am serious ![]() |
