daveP: one gunners handle wey dey report our transfers steady. I prayed it was a rumor. Shegzdave: Same Shrokan Mustafi? Are we going back to the wilderness or what? Lol... It's rumor. Mustafi retired from football last week. Moreover, we can't call back a player that we literally terminated his contract here. Who does that? Not like he turned WC elsewhere Na just to Garner attention the reporter wants |

daveP: Ian Wright messed up. Well na Southgate the social media manager i blame. Na social media make am start TAA in midfield. Na social media make am begin give Palmer minutes. Now Saka to LB. Trippier is injured. Expect Saka to play there instead of Southgate opting for a 3man defense that will work well against Swiss team. An English Lineup without Foden and Bellingham together on pitch is better than anything else. Plus Toney and Watkins need bigger minutes abeg. Kane no sabi press, or run. Positioning is his current biggest contribution to this team. Even his hold up quality has waned. Na from next match (against Switzerland) I go know whether na media and pundits Southgate dey use make him selection, cos he can't tell me that going into this tournament he ever reasoned that Saka would be used as an emergency Lb. I've no issues with Saka playing lb ystdy cos they were losing and they need to throw all attacking options and structure into the game. Make I dey watch from next game sha Kane drop this tournament Sha. I believe he might be playing through injury cos the decline is so sharp. I've already made up my mind that both Belli and Foden would start. It's crazy watching this England's team in this tournament. Their performance have been insipid and it's getting worse each passing game. Hopefully next game they turn up |

Spy360: I agree. But...
Was the bolded what you meant when you said Fabio Vieira lacks stamina?
Remember no twisting of narrative. You're the one twisting narratives here. Mosto.b specifically used the word "bulk up" for Viera. He never used the word stamina in his post |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 5:15am On Jul 01, 2024 |
Spy360: So what type stamina was Mostob referring when he mentioned Fabio Vieira? The type that led to my weight = stamina? Lol.. stamina is stamina. Weight is weight. Your mistake is from the basics. You don't know the correct definition of stamina yet you're using the wrong definition to argue. O wrong nau!! Nothing concerns stamina concerns whether a player can easily be brushed off the ball easily |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 5:11am On Jul 01, 2024 |
Spy360: Endurance is a form of stamina.
Being able to withstand a force of push or pull is also a form of stamina. All of us that started this argument knows the kind of stamina we were referring to. Even Jo.dera defined it in one of his post. So I am surprised at how he chose to twist issues.
The player who was in focus was Fabio Vieira. And we all know what Fabio needs as a player and it is not ability to run for long distances. So let's not twist the narrative. I plainly said it in that post that the definition is a wrong definition of stamina that we were taught while we were growing up and I suspect that's still same definition you're holding onto till now. It's really surprising that you're equating stamina and weight when it has absolutely nothing to do with it. It's even more surprising that you still held that wrong definition till now and you're using it to argue. Hope say you no dey among those wey still believe say India win Nigeria 99-1 and that one goal was scored by Samuel Okwaraji which ultimately caused his death?? |

TradingGod: you have an exam to write
Reading for that exam is your choice to make
If you read for that exam, God knows the end of that decision and has a plan already
If you don't read for that exam, God knows the end of that decision and has a plan already Aptly put. This is what most people don't understand when they say "God knows the beginning from the end". It's amusing for some Christians to also think God set Adam and Eve up just so he'll chase them out of the garden of Eden when it was them really that chose that path |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Jodera: 9:23pm On Jun 30, 2024 |
TrebleChamp: So apt, basic reasoning doesn't go well mix with religion. Example is Allah (God) allowing Adam and Eve to sin (he already new it would happen before he created us), and then created Hell to punish the rest of humanity for committing sin. I once told a Christian friend that Judas is innocent and probably balling in heaven, because it was already destined before he was even borne that he will betray Jesus. Dude just stared at me confused and wondering how to respond, he finally said God knows best... Lol... I don't think the bolded is correct. Firstly, even though the prediction was accurately predicted, Judas (himself) wasn't predicted. In order words, what was predicted was the event not the particular person. Judas allowed himself to be the bad guy unfortunately and that's why he was condemned even by Jesus himself (note: Judas himself waa not honest about the treasury responsibility that was put under his care. He was helping himself, in order words stealing, from the coffers) Here are Jesus' words of condemnation: John 6:67-71 69 We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.” 70 Then Jesus replied, “Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!” 71 (He meant Judas, the son of Simon Iscariot, who, though one of the Twelve, was later to betray him.)In another book and Verse " The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born" |

Bellingham will play nonsense, you'll insult him drag him, shout on him, and when all hope is lost, he'll just come through like a Miracle. No wonder Southgate no fit bench/sub him and Kane when they're looking for goals Spreading his arm likey : "I'm always here"

mostob: Jodera... e be like Southgate don move Saka to LB. He sub out Trippier for Palmer For Emergency it's no prob and change of structure into attacking move, I understand and it's a wise decision. My take is starting the match with Saka at Lb and Palmer starting in place of him when there's Gomez and Trippier fit. |

Spy360: Even though you are right, this is just an aspect of stamina. Doesn't this contradict your earlier definition?
Mostob knows that this is not what we are talking about. Follow your earlier definition or have you changed mouth? I never had any earlier definition. The first one I gave was the wrong misconception of definition about stamina which I believe is what you're referring What You're saying and what most.ob is saying is two different things and your weight/stamina is wrong |

milann: I blame Cristiano Ronaldo for all these. Before he joined Madrid, he was a total footballer. He could dribble, score and entertain the fans. When he moved to Spain, football changed. People no longer appreciate other aspects of the game. Goals became the order of the day. Messi who was known to be a amazing dribbler turned to a goalscorer out of hunger for more goals like his rival. Neymar came and gave us a glimmer of hope with his flair and dribbling skills but he was not to be a consistent player Cristiano and Messi have no blame. Even with all their goals, there was still people like Hazard, Sanchez, Neymar, Suarez and others still dribbling defenders with ease. It's very very simplistic to say Ronaldo (esp) and Messi made footballers to be obsessed with goals yet nobody is even replicating their standards |

Ijustwantto: Mbappe is close. He scored forty something goals, won trophies too. It is just dat he played in a league where most people termed "farmers league" And that league is what is affecting him. If he likes let him score 100goals, it doesn't matter unless he wins the UCL with PSG. If he'd scored that 40goals in Madrid, even without UCL he would have been the massive favorite to win it |

andrewbaba44: Not taking anything away from Messi 91 goals in a year ,scoring 5 goals in 9 minutes is insane and you need a lot of luck
I know Messi 91 goal record is hard but there are back water league to experiment Even aside from backwater league sef, person fit still break am for top league. E go tey well and we would need another genius to do that (just like the duration it took Messi to break Muller own) but it's very very possible. But you see that 5 goals in 9 minutes? Omorr. Even to score 5 goals in a match sef na wahala not to talk of doing it in freaking less than 9mins |

I never liked those two players though because they play for my rival club (one about to) Ohh, Okay. Maybe I misunderstood your post then. But if I'm to pick top I'll just pick only Vini sha. Strong candidates no dey unfortunately and I don't even see Mbappe as one. Bellingham na another person I fit consider but it's up to him to start turning up for England (even if it's to play nonsense and bag winning goal as usual ) |
