He is adding nothing to the team. Time to move him on.
Because of this concluding season in which he's coming back from surgery due to his "growth spurt" treatment?

Just only one season he's been away oo, not as if he's a remote worker

Sell

Ramsdale: Too good to be kept as back up.

Nelson

All loanees except our GK

Nketiah

ESR — only If a better, way better, player is arriving else it's a waste of talent. Will be sad to see him go

Partey — With Jorg signing, it's only logical he goes.

Tierney

Zinny — except if he'll be played at Midfield

Buy/Bring in

Gyokeres — Omorr, I've intensively watched him. This guy is that animal we need.

Saka deputy

Arthur Okonkwo — did a good job in league 2. Might be a worthy deputy to be called back on loan

ESR replacement.

A solid DM — someone who can slot in immediately so that Rice can play his Cm role.

With the right and effective "buy" players, we're good to go

To be effective doesn’t mean you are better as a footballer, so many argument led to that statement that day but I don’t expect you to respect context. I have said it before that Rice is not better than caceido it’s just that the former is in a better team at the moment who is playing to his strength. Play caceido to his strength like the last few games and see the difference.
Time indeed is a revealer of all things

We'll watch!!!

1. I want Smith-Rowe as far away as possible from this club! When I saw him being subbed-in on Sunday that was the only feeling I had about him.

2. Everyone knows how I feel about Nelson already; he has no future at Arsenal. The earlier we know this, the better for us. He has refused to be that worthy deputy for Saka , we should just move on from him. Let him stop occupying space other good players can use.

3. Zinchenko should be allowed to leave so we can buy a proper LB.

4. We should sell Partey before he picks up another injury that will make him stay out of action for another 3 months. I think we should avoid a black player born and bred in Africa when shopping for another DM. This has nothing to do with racism but a risk management technique to avoiding an already aged player. We can buy an African who was born in Europe whose age records is closest to his actual age.

5. I hate to see Ramsdale go, but he obviously is too good a keeper to sit on the bench. I wish him well anywhere he decides to go and I hope we get a decent backup goal keeper and not some Runnerson rebirth
Why do you want ESR as far away as possible?

I repeat Caceido is a better footballer than Rice. Rice is effective so is Caceido but the later has abundant talent than the former. Caceido is a proper box to box/ CM; good penetrated passes, good movement and vision. Caceido can be best box to box/CM in the world unlike Rice that have shown he can not improve more than he is playing now. I wish Lavia or any other CDM stay fit because I don’t want to see Caceido in that position next season, it really make football myopics not to see his actual football technique. If you think it’s coincident how we improve and started winning consistently lately then you won’t see Caceido’s worth and work, I mean, mere being assisted by a left back in the midfield which allowed him to play his best position improved our offensive play and cucu was moving there occasionally.
E no deh ever hard you to change mouth like I told you earlier. Na make Caicedo catch one small team, you go start again.

See as you turn god of football. Rice cannot improve but Caicedo can.

See the rubbish Jackson, Chelsea paraded as main striker for the season. Someone struggling to start for Senegal, leading the attack of my darling team. Can you compare him to Costa or Drogba? Can you compare Disasi and Badiashile to Terry, Carvalho/Alex? Can you compare Cucurella to Ashley Cole?

When you compare players like Nistelrooy, Tevez, Rooney, Ronaldo to the Amadu, Kabiru, Anthony and Fadeyi, playing for United now, then you will have a rethink. Can Maguire talk where Jaap Stam roars?

That's why it pains when other fans are supporting mediocrity in our team. Since Costa left, Chelsea haven't got a reliable finisher. Why wouldn't Fraudiola feast with Haaland, KDB, B. Silva, Grealish and co?

When we had a prolific striker and solid players, we won the league under Fraudiola's nose.

Imagine if Arsenal had landed one of Carabao or FA Cup and then bottles EPL, the pain won't be that much.

You can't class them oga - they are light years apart.

This one no be about seniority

Both were winning consistently - one was doing it vs strong sides while the other was vs bums : 2nd placed Spurs in 2016/2017 season also amassed similar points to this UTD side in question.
1.Lol, when I meant seniority, I didn't even mean the time (like age or sort). I meant of quality

2.Did anyone not fear that Spurs side of 2016/17?

How bad or worst the team was, isn't the main issue here TBH

The point is that them Welbeck, Evans and co finished with more points than a team that had prime Vidic, Evra, Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez etc, yet the team with fewer points was light years ahead of the former.

This, coupled with other examples is why I feel the "points amassed analogy" is flawed in the context of team/league strength assessment
You're the one doing comparisons Tbh.

I'm classing them and not comparing 2013 set to 2008 set. You should know that even within a class, senior still dey inside.

So in essence, what I'm just telling you that the two sets are very strong sides and their points shows so(89 and 87 respectively) because both sets were winning CONSISTENTLY.

E no suppose hard again to get my point

Ah, thank God for my mistake be that grin

The point here is that the Gulf in class is too wide - there is no basis for comparison at all....

The 2012/2013 team was the weakest Fergie's teams of his final 6-7years at the club : that side relied solely on RVP's magical form.

Till today, it's no secret that Fergie was even praised for winning the league with such a poor team. Some pundits even attributed Moyes' failure at UTD to his decision to "inherit" such a weak side without adequate reinforcements.
To be honest, an 89 point team can't just be suddenly weak like that. It relies on Van Persie, yes but it was more than that.

What it just shows is that Moyes is an inept coach that can't handle a top team which makes it looks that the players were that baaaad!

It's akin to Chelsea under Lampard. They look like bums and couldn't even make top 4. Tuchel came, use that same team to win Fa cup and Uefa CL while finishing 4th in the league (from a possible 8th when he arrived).

Their play was so good that all they felt they needed to compete for league was a striker to complete them (Lukaku says hi)

Who knows, maybe that 2013 set lacked a "tuchel" cos an 89-point team can't be that baaaad.

Naaaahhhh!!!

I can also say yeah, Spurs were consistently beating rubbish teams while the aforementioned man UTD team consistently beat tougher teams

Yeah, it was the season after that

By your logic, the spurs team was comparable to the United team all because of your supposed consistency?

Common!!
I never said they were comparable neither did my posts imply so.

I said points shows the strength of the team to show that they're not only strong but consistent in winning.

The 2007/08 was a strong team than the 2012/13 but that doesn't mean the latter set are bum that season the way you're making it out to be.

Geez!!! I just did a quick check and I found out the 2012/13 team was on 89points and not 86 you erroneously said.

Ask Liverpool and Arsenal. Immediately Pep went ahead after Arsenal dropped points vs Villa everyone know say its over

Pep wey go do 15 to 19 games winning run like its normal

City has won 9 games straight now to win the league and 23matches unbeaten just casually. The last game they lost in all competition was in December 6
Exactly what I said earlier this month on our thread. And even the points Pep dropped was against its fellow contenders sef(Liverpool and arsenal). The rest na decimation.
Everybody says arsenal fvcked up against Aston Villa even though we won ALL our matches.

To put it in perspective, Man City dropped point against arsenal(non-league top 4 contender like Villa) during that 8 matches to go in 2011/12 yet same Man City still won the league under Fergie nose.

Yet na Fergie go dey pose problem for pep consistently for league?

Bros - all these semantics doesn't change the fact that the "points system" could be misleading and I have given you a clear example.

As I stated earlier, that 2008 Man UTD side is one of the best sides in world football in the last 15-20 years.

You cannot compare that team with the one that had the likes of Cleverly and Evans all in the name of "points similarity"..

FYI, spurs that placed second in 2015/2016 season amassed 86 points.

By your logic............
Lol, I will use point cos that tells me the strength of the team .

Garnering 86 and 87 points means you've been CONSISTENT FOR MONTHS. Yes, strength of each sets matters but that doesn't mean both teams weren't consistent in winning for months

Even by my logic, the spurs that placed 2nd season was a very very good side In the league but I doubt it's the 15/16 season which Leicester won cos they didn't even near that Spurs point.

And that validate my points because the league was so poor then, Leicester who was losing points upadan begining of league that Ranieri have to promise them pizza if they stop conceding goals later came first and won the league (imagine!). That's how bad the league was and if you check, the point winner reflects that
