sometime ago i wrote complaning of high prolactin, i have used parlodel to reduce this but after a while , milk still comes out from my breast so i deceided to use Nature way (vitex extract Feprimed) and i am now using fertilaid . Doc i have used this for one cycle and noticed that the milk doesnt come from the left breast but come out on the right. My period comes regularly an average of 28 days but this very one came late like 30days interval and doesnt seem to be normal. i have had consent Headach i just felt is as a result of stress but even after resting i am still having the headach. How can actually stop this milk from coming out from my breast forever and achieve conception urgently. i ve been married for almost 2 yrs.

i need a crown on1 of my tooth. being carrying it like that for more than 2years. can i get the number to?

doc, my doctor has reduced my parlodel taking to 1 tablet at night and he added follic acid to it . he said i should take it for the next one month.
he also gave my clomid for five days starting for the 2nd day of my cycle. that was on the 10th of June, 2009.
doc the problem i am having now is that i was given amoxycillin, flagyl, ibruphine and vitmin c by my dentist . is it adviceable to take all this drugs together without side effect. i really want to be carefull with the way i take drugs because of the problem i encounted with high prolactine. doctor pls help.

you have said it all, i don't think this lady loves you. if there is geniune love she will endure to the end moreover it is not as if you are jobless you are doing something which has a good prospect. i will advice you break up the relationship early not by quarrel but you can talk things over with her. tell her that you can't met her standard that she is free to look somewhere else.

thank God i finally saw my period on the 10th May, 2009. I suspect the period regulated it self. i assumed the last one of March 24th 2009 was the actually period but the light flow that i saw on the 10th of April was equally my period. counting my usual 30 MC it fall between the 10th of May, 2009.
please when am i likely to ovulate using my usual 30 MC.

thanks katty for your reply. i have not still seen my period till date making it about 40+ days saw the last one on the 24th March 2009. i have done series of blood pregnancy test and urine test it came out negative. i am alittle worried i went to my gyn he immediately carried out scan and he only told me that he saw some thing small but cannot really say what it is. He just wrote in my file no fibroid seen and some other terms that i can't understand not to be seen.he then advise me to wait for some time and he recommended i carried out a pregnancy test and PCV but it came out negative , he said my pcv was okay that i should wait for four more weeks and if i haven't t seen it then i should come back to the hospital.
katty pls do you have any idea what may be causing the delay in my period . could it be the drugs am taking i.e prolodel.i have been taking it for a month +.

i will be most gratefull if you can help me out.

i will take my niece to the gyn. doctor i am worried here. i havent 't seen my period since. i had my period on 24th of march,2009 did HSG on the 3rd of April had some browish discharge on the 10th April, 2009 could the browish discharge be a form of my period because i am expected to see it between the 25th of April to 29th April 2009 i.e 30days circle. I was feeling very sick for the past three days headach, stomach pains and my mouth has being bitter so i went to the hospital. MP test was conducted and they found out i had ,malaria. i am presently takeing the medication for the malaria. can you tell me what to do now or i should still wait for some time to see if the period is going to come? I dont think i am pregrnant because i am still taking the hormone drugs since they said my prolactine is to high. i need your advise . thanks in advance

i did my HSG test on fridY. it was really painfull.this was the result given to me

the uterus is outlined and it is wit um normal limit
Bolu fallopian tubes are outlined, normal peritoneal spillage is seen bilaterally.
conclusion- normal study.

lutenizing hormone(HLH) 12miu/ml  Ref.Values 4-20
follicle stimulating hormone(hfsh) 9 miu/ml  Ref.Values 4-20
prolactin 36 miu/ml  Ref.Values 6-24 females
progesterone 19 miu/ml  Ref.Values 5-36

i was told that the prolactin is to high and i was given prolodel(Bromocriptin.ut mesilic) to be taken for 30days. then stimulation of the breast was equally advised to be stooped.i have started taken it but it is really given me some discomfort . I hope this will not affect me from getting pregnant on time.

My husband did  sperm count test twice immediately after our wedding and the last one this year i think last month . according to him the first test they said he had infection and was given antibiotics. he said the only thing he could understand from the test is Abnormal sperm 80% while normal sperm 20%. the second test done reads ad normal sperm 60% while adnormal 40% but he still has infections. Will try and get comprehensive result from the hospital tomorrow but can you say anything with the above result. ecoil infection i taught this is not suppost to be in the sperm?what drugs can he take because i feel the infection is causing the ad normal sperm to be high i.e it is destroying the sperm.

thanks doc i am happy to hear this but i dont still understand. my joy will be complete when i am pregnant. I have a question to ask . i have this niece of mine that sees her period for more than 7 days. it started when she was 12 years old she flows heavily now she is 19 years old and since last month 17th Of March 2009 till date she is still flowing till today. doc pls advise us on what to do? expecting your reply soon. thanks

High prolactin can stop you from getting pregnant. The medication you are on is to lower the level so you can start ovulating again.

Hope this can be corrected. The drug am taking i was asked to take it for a month hope that will be ok so that i can start ovulating. is there any other thing or drugs i can get or add to assist in correcting this. i have noticed that the milkish susbtance does not come out of my breast again . hope this is a postive sign? how long do i need to wait before i can start ovaluting again i.e after taking the drugs. i would be finishing the drugs by 5th May, 2009.

please Katty  i dont understand. will excess prolactin affect me from getting pregnant or will it help me to get pregnant?i don't understand your response. i really want to get pregnant like never before and i am a little worried saw blood stain from last friday till yesterday. what could be the cause of this i hope nothing serious? it didnt come out like normal period. thanks

i just did mine on friday. i did It at one hospital/ lab at ojodu berger. but i was refered there by my doc. once u finish . u get your result and analysis almost immediatly. it is behind the GTB BANK OPP BANK PHB. I THINK IT IS BASHIRU Street No.50.you know what i will try and get the address for you when i get home today. through my result. but with this description u should be able to get it. the doctor is good. note that u need to have seen your period b4 it can be done. i.e 10 days from the beginig of the new circle. i wish you the very best.
