EducationRe: Basic Truths About The Igbos Of South East Nigrria With Photos by Joe4lv(m): 10:19pm On May 31, 2016
Dear Op, have you ever wondered why OWERRI contains ERI?

Why Agu ukwa has ERI?

Why Aguleri has ERI?
Why Umueri has ERI?

It is even in the Bible that ERI is a descendant of Jacob(Gen 46:16)

Why Aba trances their origin to Aguleri?

Why Awka does same?

Go to orlu again and dig deep it is Ngidi ERI.

I doubted all those stuffs until a man took me to Aguleri. I saw a Jacobs stone on which was written all the names of his sons in Hebrew. You will see GAD from where ERI was a son to.

I know that some Igbo came from Igala like some part of Anam,Delta, etc but most are from Isreal.

Do research on Igbo new yam festival(Iwa ji)and see for yourself that truely it all started from Aguleri/Umueri.

RomanceRe: My Wife Wants To Include Our Maid In Our Sex Life. by Joe4lv(m): 10:18pm On May 30, 2016
Your wife may not be bisexual.

Please answer me these and we can conclude on if she is or she just want a child:

1. Have you two gone for medical check?

2 if yes, what was the result?

Cos if your wife is impotent without your knowing, she might have resulted to that maid for a child to make you happy.

Just be careful of wrong conclusion.
EducationVanguard News: Ebonyi Wins 2016 Democracy School Debate by Joe4lv(op): 3:29pm On May 30, 2016
Ebonyi State has won the 2016 Democracy School Debate.

It defeated Taraba and Police teams at the finals of the championship organised by the President’s School Debate Nigeria (PSDN) a non-governmental organisation from May 24 to May 28 in Abuja.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that PSDN comprised private and public sector stakeholders.

Dr Adaeze Nwauzor, Ebonyi Centenary Debate team leader, told NAN on Monday that Ebonyi would represent Nigeria in an international school debate competition in Indonesia.
“By this feat, we have qualified to represent Nigeria in the forthcoming international school debate competition in Indonesia.

“We were also presented with a trophy by Hajia Aisha Buhari, wife of the President, at a dinner party with the students.
“My team won because of hard work coupled with their intelligence. We took time to select the best students in terms of debate for this competition.

“We started by training the trainers – debate handlers – then we went round the 13 local government areas and selected the best speakers from each local government.
“We went to three zones and selected the best speakers; then at the semi-grand finale, we selected the best speakers,’’ she said.
She commended, Gov. Dave Umahi of Ebonyi, and his wife for their support and commitment to human development.
Nwauzor, who is the Senior Special Adviser to Umahi on Higher Education, said that the governor’s support and passion for educational development of the state contributed to the team’s victory.
She also thanked the organisers, especially, Dare Olotu, PSDN’s National Coordinator and all the members of the committee, for a well organised debate.

NAN recalls that Olotu had at the opening ceremony, said that the essence of the competition was to bring Nigerian students to debate on motions affecting the country.
He said that wining team would have automatic qualification to represent Nigeria in the forthcoming international schools debate in Indonesia.

Olotu said the topics of debate were: “This House Believes that the Agricultural Sector has Better Prospects for Nigeria’s Economic Growth.
“This House Believes that Posting of National Youth Corps Members should be Limited to their Geo-political Zones.’’

No fewer than 13 teams drawn from Taraba, Imo, Niger, Ebonyi, Anambra, Kaduna, Oyo, Sokoto, Benue and FCT, participated in the competition.

PoliticsCheck Out Minimun Wage Of Oil Producing Nations(pic) by Joe4lv(op): 11:36am On May 14, 2016
The presidency, two days ago, declared over 60% increase in the price of premium motor spirit (PMS) with so much blame on corruption and or past government. They cited prices of what PMS sales in other west African countries and the need for us to follow suit.

There is serious inflation in the land with hike in transport yet the salary of civil servants are not made to measure up with those harsh economy. A bag of rice is now #15000 prior to their pegging the price of PMS to #145 and who knows how much it will be as from next week.

Well am not against any increment in the price of PMS but when we dug in to know the niara conversion of the minimum wage of OPEC countries,we discover that if we must cite other nations price, then we should as well cite the grave disparity between their minimum wages and ours so we move for the increment and strict implementation of #56000 minimum wage.

And in another news someone said Onitsha is the most air polluted place on earth and I wonder which Onitsha? The one in Anambra state or there is another Onitsha in world map?

Anyway, it shows that southeast has grown in both human capital development and infrastructural development.

The gap between the rich and the poor in southeast is very minute cos of their independent mindset and hustling spirit.

Someone will quote me that they are into 419 but guess what,EFCC rates a particular state in Southwest as the state with the highest number of internet scammers.

Igbo people are the future of the great Nigeria we all pray for.

God bless Ndigbo who are now doing everything to ensure their people are salvaged from political masterminded poverty.

Invest in southeast and you will never regret doing so.

You don't just post something without write-ups to back your claims.

Until you edit your post and give us the bases of those ranking, your post remains null and void.

PoliticsRe: EXCLUSIVE | Nigeria Goes Broke: FG Exchanging Crude Oil For Refined Petrol by Joe4lv(m): 4:48pm On May 09, 2016
LadyExcellency:
That is equal balance of trade and a good development by my assessment. The FG should secretly/openly (whichever) print more Naira for disbursement to States.
US print dollars, Britain print pounds and Nigeria should print Naira. The attendant inflation can't kill as it will gradually be absorbed into what is at present.
Seems you just went to school to study economics or accountancy? Fuel is just a fraction of crude and it is stupidity to swap same with crude. What happens to products like diesel, kerosene, ethylene, etc that comes from same crude?

Crude swap before was done with change on it to save in our accounts as a nation not the trade by barter we are doing now.

FG should dialogue with ND avengers now so they don't cripple the economy while we ensure that our refineries are fully operational for self sustenance. But guess what, the FG isn't even truthful in it's approach.

The same govt that told us about diversifying budgeted billions of naira for crude exploration in chad basin more than what Agriculture got. Isn't it clear that there is an agenda somehow? Someone will say GEJ budgeted money for it but do we really need such as we all know crude is as cheap as sachet water in international market.

See the numbers of your leaders. Call them and enquire about what they are doing to protect Enugu state.

PoliticsPics:dial This To Report Fulani Herdsmen Terrorism. by Joe4lv(op): 10:29am On Apr 28, 2016
Call any of these numbers to channel your issue of Fulani herdsmen massacre or if there is fear of your community being massacred. Remember to record the conversation when dialing any of the numbers for investigative journalism later when either of them deny receiving such calls.

Be wise for this is democracy and you can remove any incompetent political appointee and elected officers.

Thank God for social media.

Nigeria will be great again especially by using social media rightly.

SportsRe: My Recent Experience With Wasere Betting Site by Joe4lv(m): 10:46am On Apr 24, 2016
So sorry for your lost bro but there is a way out. Copy the bet number and mark your time of betting and the matches you staked on and move to any national lottery commission close to you and file a report.

But what kind of betting site is that? Never heard about them but and that's why I will never stake my cash on any unknown betting sites.

They might cancel your bet in order for them not to lose cos they don't have backlogs of funds to pay out your winning.

My advice to national lottery commission is to ensure that no betting company exist without a backlog of at least #200million so as to ensure things like this doesn't happen to innocent Nigerians.

Have a blissful Sunday.

PoliticsHelp!!! If This Bill Passes Third Reading, Southern Nigeria Is Gone by Joe4lv(op): 10:21pm On Apr 13, 2016
(National Grazing Reserve Commission (NGRC) will be the new Gestapo....Hitler's police. So people will have a right to take my house and land "if they consider the place good for grazing? God punish all Yorubas, Igbos, minorities of the middle belt and Niger Delta who do not do all they can against this Grazing Laws. If Igbos and Yorubas and the rest of us do not unite against this law, we deserve to be slaughtered. How can a bill that will hand a NGRC commission a right to take any land anywhere for cow get to second reading? Are we crazy? Where on this earth do cows have such rights?)

THE CRAZY GRAZING BILL - MICHAEL DEDON
The proposed Grazing Bill for Fulani herdsmen is an invitation to anarchy in an already volatile country like Nigeria. The Bill is already before the National Assembly and has successfully scaled through second reading in both the Senate and the House of Representatives. All that is left in the legislative process to make it a law is a 3rd reading, that is, a clause by clause debate and then assent by the President. The proposed piece of legislation is full of unconstitutionalities, ethnic discriminations, fundamental human rights violations, religious tenets violations, conspicuous criminal omissions and unforgiveable legislative indiscretions.
The full title of the Bill is, AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE NATIONAL GRAZING RESERVE (ESTABLISHMENT AND DEVELOPMENT) COMMISSION FOR THE PRESERVATION AND CONTROL OF NATIONAL GRAZING RESERVES AND STOCK ROUTES AND OTHER MATTERS CONNECTED THEREWITH.
The Bill’s concluding explanatory memorandum says that the Bill seeks to provide for, among other things, the establishment of the National Grazing Reserve Commission of Nigeria, for the preservation and control of national grazing reserves and stock routes in the country. Its key provisions and high points include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. To establish a National Grazing Reserve Commission (NGRC), a body corporate.
2. The NGRC may acquire, hold, lease or dispose of any property, moveable or immoveable for the purpose of carrying out its function.
3. The NGRC shall have a governing Council headed by a Chairman appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate with members representing the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Water Resources, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Environment,Housing and Urban Development, the National Commission for Nomadic Education and shall also have a Director General.
4. To raise monies by way of grants, loans, borrowing, subsidies and donations.
5. The following lands may be subject to the provisions of the Act to be constituted as National Grazing Reserves and Stock Routes:
(a) Lands at the disposal of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
(b) Any lands in respect of which it appears to the Commission that grazing in such land should be practiced.
(c) Any land acquired by the Commission through purchase, assignment, gift or otherwise howsoever.
6. State Governments shall be given notice first before land acquisition and gazetting.
7. The Commission shall pay compensation to persons affected by any land acquisition.
8. There shall be no improvements, encroachment, bush burning, hunting, use of chemicals and felling of trees by anyone inside lands acquired and demarcated as National Grazing Reserves or Stock Routes.
9.Contravention of any of the provisions in (cool above shall be punishable by a fine of N50,000 or 5 years imprisonment or both.
10. No Court of law shall carry out execution of its judgment or attachment of court process issued against the Commission in any action or suit without obtaining the prior consent of the Attorney General of the Federation.
11. For the time being, the Commission shall report to the Honorable Minster for Agriculture and Water Resources.
12. Native communities referred to in the Bill shall be any group of persons occupying any lands in accordance with, and subject to native law and custom.
....the list then goes on. Please, call all your senators and house of reps members and ask them as a matter of urgency to reject the enactment of this evil bill.

You can get their phone through sahara reporters website.

PoliticsRe: Outrage As FG Abandons N140bn 2nd Niger Bridge by Joe4lv(m): 7:43pm On Mar 31, 2016
If federal govt can't do the bridge due to funding, they should realise that a typical Igbo man is rich and should create a platform for them to contribute funds for the bridge with a promise of staking their names on the bridge and pay them back after a stipulated time frame.

140b is a small thing for just 200 Igbo men. Try this strategy and see the bridge stand in 4 years.

If you have banker friends located within the vicinity of any major market across the federation, ask them how Igbo men handle cash deposits and transfer. You will be amazed on what you will hear.

Igbo men are proud set of people in areas where their names will be engraved/immortalized so they can beat their chest and say I contributed to the building of that bridge, check my name when you get there.

God bless the Igbo race cos they are a rare race that have made Africa proud in so many facets of life.

RomanceRe: Help Put A Stop To Divorce (please Come In) by Joe4lv(m): 5:12pm On Feb 23, 2016
Normally, I would read this and move to the next topic but I was tempted to pause and probably say something about this deadly situation eating deep into our society. Gone are the days when people celebrate golden jubilee in the marriage. It now seems the average age our marriages now last is 10 and the society is not taking note of this decline.

Am not a socialogist but I think we are gradually creeping into individuality in Nigeria. Individuality,to me, means a situation where we live together in same room but do things separately and the only things holding us together are sex and money for family upkeep.

We started it with husband and wife having separate bedrooms and only sleep in the same room if there are needs for sex. The advent of separate rooms now creates individualism among couples and should in case there be a misunderstanding, it takes time to settle them.

That apart, I have over years studied marriages and I have noticed that we actually live in a time when patience is no longer a virtue amongst couples. We have embraced the opinion that the best way out of an issue is to walk away from it.

Feminism and several concepts are really killing us in Africa. Am not in support of men making women slaves but I think we shouldn't throw into the dustbins the fact that a man and a woman have defined roles they must play to make the family work.

Will stop here for now cos of work.

Two things appeared in my mind while reading this post

1. They might have resorted to this medium inorder to escape the security situation in the country

2. Maybe they want to rob their neighborhood to eck a living out of the mess the country has been plunged into due to both the mess of previous government and failure of the present government to give investors roadmap into where to invest in.

In all, RIP to the dead and I hope the living learn from their death.

I can teach you diligently how you can invest 1/3 of the cash and reap good dividends in the near future but it is not a get-rich-quick investment but something you can do at your own pace and have free time and also look for other business that you can venture into with the remaining 2/3 while the other run in the background.

I always tell people,"if i want to buy a 50k phone and was told of a business or investment that if i put in the 50k will yield 35-40k in four months, then i will forfeit the phone and go for the investment",this is the mindset of business people.

One thing I appreciate about your write up is that Ot is devoid of tribal, religious and political sentiments.

you touched issues that are relevant and I will like to advice the APC led govt to be careful cos the may lose 2019 to PDP. my reason is that if PDP as an opposition wins the trust of Nigeria through the inability of the minister of information to give us answers as pertain issues bordering on national discourse, like the PDP did in its last dispensation under the guild of GEJ.

We don't need people who are confused in govt. APC must know they are no longer opposition but the ball is in their court to play.
