Yes Ebuehi seemed so out of place at the left (forget that pk). Now I agree with those who said Aina should have been given a chance at RB as well. somehow: I wanted to post this comment before Ebuehi committed that PK.
I wanted Rohr to switch Moses for Ebuehi, remove Iheanacho for Simy and Etebo for Iwobi.
All in all i am very happy we won! |

Na luck we dey wait for now o. Because so far Iceland deserve to win. But I’d rather be patriotic and be hopeful. komekn: Match is dead no DESIRE, SELF-BELIEF, PASSION, PENETRATION is zero
We are getting bullied all over the pitch.
In my opinion this selection is the worst that we could have presented against Iceland. |

You don’t know my mind. I can’t carry that elementary stuff in my mind. We go win award for nauraland? U take this thread thing too seriously. I beg make we focus on the match. . TheSuperNerd: Yes oooo... Cameroun remains the boss of the continent. They topped the class and still sit atop. So stop using Nigeria as a carrot stick. It is not working. Loolll.... See? I just knew that was why you jumped into the discussion I was having with Egbon. You still dey carry that matter for mind It is okay... I could easily tell. Up Super Eagles... |

So if Nigeria wins this World Cup, Cameroon is will be seen as the best. Okay you are correct. We can move on now. TheSuperNerd: It is not an opinion but fact. Nigeria was the best in Africa between 1994-1996. Cameroon was the best in Africa between 2000-2003. Same with Egypt between 2006-2010 even without the WC showing.
You don't even rate the AFCON... So why should you be taken seriously on labelling Africa's best? Laughable honestly... Loolll Abeg I no wan laugh too much... |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 1:21pm On Jun 22, 2018 |
Sir your definition of Africa’s best as it can only be said that the country is best when they have achieved both AFCON success and and gone far in WC is still an opinion. Let’s not be childish to drag that discussion to this. I just told u as it is. Apples and oranges. Modified. Dude ur analogy was all wrong in the first place but I still used your faulty analogy to tell you that the person who did better in jamb can still get priority when it comes to admission. School performance versus international exam performance would be a better analogy. Safarigirl rightly said both JAMB and WAEC are external. Shows that analogy was faulty in the first place.. Two opinions here. I’m saying the best for now is who has the better performance as regards the WC. You are saying Senegal has to have won the AFCON first, hence Cameron a country who didn’t even qualify is best. At the end of the day we have two different opinions. Your opinion is not a fact either . TheSuperNerd: Yes naa... You refuse to accept that Ighalo failed in that game and was woeful. You refuse giving in to the fact that Iheanacho could have done better as he is even in fine form.
And ehmmmm.. Joebie told me nothing actually. He is just not comfortable with being unable to admit concession to the fact that indeed he got it all wrong as regards who is Africa's best. His logic was flawed and i showed him how. He even tried to say WAEC is nothing compared to JAMB. Loollll... Listen it would be better if people here know how to concede when their argument is not making any sense anymore. Or is it because I am younger than you all except a few here? Funny stuffs... Lol |

Egbon is saying he would pick Ighalo over KC as a lone striker, but favors KC to start ahead of Ighalo when we are playing with two strikers. Besides, remove the label from people whenever it seems their stance have changed. We are here to learn. I have modified some of my opinions overtime. Only people who think too highly of themselves believe they’ve always known it all, and will never modify their opinions. The reality is no human is all knowing. Forgiveness just stated it several times that he would favor KC ahead of Ighalo when we are playing with two strikers. Please leave it at that. TheSuperNerd: So you want me to show you defending Ighalo's woeful nonsense as our no 9 like kilode abi? You think you can dribble your way outta this one.
Me obviously saying you picking Nacho in ANY lineup is a simple hyperbole. I was MOST DEFINITELY stressing your obvious bias against Nacho which is well known on this same thread. So you talking Simy and Kelechi upfront together is nothing. Absolutely nothing. You still ran around campaigning and showing that Ighalo did not flunk against Croatia (because at its depths, your admitting that he flunked will mean we have to bring in Nacho into the argument as an upgrade on Ighalo) and even insisting that Rohr was spot on to start A woeful Ighalo based on just tactics that limited Croatia. Oga, did we go into that game just to limit Croatia or to win?!! Lol... You are very very funny.
You have this knack for defending almost any player playing in that forward role as long as it keeps Nacho on the bench. I know seeing Nacho in the first XI does not give you Joy. I know. You can type 1000 Smileys to try cover it up but I know. Your bias against the kid is f**king obvious and so well documented.
So Egbon... Dont forget you met me kn this thread and i know whwre everyone stands on major issues. Your Origins are well known to me... Keep playing the artful dodger... |

Its not rosy for many immigrant parents and their children. I also read the story of rising tennis player of Sierra Leonean descent, Frances Tiafoe. I even have friends who are children of immigrants tell me their story. Many people in Africa who are not exposed have this notion in their heads that when people leave for abroad everything is set for their families. komekn: Deviating from the subject matter for a moment.
There has been this campaign to justify the double standard and or to exclude players of Nigerian origin not born in Nigeria.
There is an assumption made by many that WE GOT IT EASY because we are in Europe. With that assumption there is the belief that extreme poverty does not exist here. Add to that poverty institutional racism and you see the mountains our players have to climb here.
I read Lukaku's story who I have met a few times and have spoken with. Find him to be a very well balanced individual very humble and respectful as well.
His story " I've got some thing to say" brought tears to my eyes.

Hopefully some of you will appreciate things differently with regard to the struggle of Nigerian origin players in Europe. |
