In fact all the JOs, barring injuries TheSuperNerd: Depending on how the #NGASRB game goes, I strongly believe that John will be the first off the bench in the midfield dept. And I also believe that barring injuries, he will make the Russia party. John Ogu is already Russia-bound. |

It’d surely save Nigeria some revenue. |

Bournemouth Confirms Invitation Of Teenage Midfielder Nnamdi Ofoborh By Flying Eagles Coach
March 26, 201803
Highly rated Bournemouth teen midfielder Nnamdi Ofoborh has been called up by the coach of the Nigeria U20 team who are preparing for the qualifiers for the 2019 African Youth Championship.
18 year old Ofoborh penned a two and a half year deal with the Premier League outfit in December, a year after joining them from Millwall, the team he joined after leaving Tottenham Hotspur.
He travelled with the first team of Bournemouth for their Premier League clash against Swansea City. A sign of how much he has impressed coach Eddie Howe with his performances for the Under-18s and 21s.
Ofoborh becomes the first foreign based player to be called up coach Paul Aigbogun who is presently with the team in Egypt, where they are going to play two friendly games against their Egyptian counterparts.
Already, their first game ended in a 0-0 draw earlier today, with the second game billed for Wednesday before Ofoborh will join up with the squad upon their return from Egypt on Friday.

Let's not forget how he sneeked into the center to score against Arsenal at the Super Cup. He has a free role with SE, but he needs to pass the ball more. Very slippery indeed and can cause harvoc in the box. Iheanacho has a thing for good placement of the ball, and can react quickest in the box. Different strengths. MetalJigsaw: It would be great...
You know why I liked that SS position you put Moses?
Moses is a very slippery player. He is very difficult to mark out. His intelligent dribbling and dazzling runs is always a nightmare for defenders... And he's a goal threat too.
This is one thing Iheancho doesn't have. This is what is behind his struggling to link himself from the defence to attack at times. He is most of the time very predictable. |

True and he dived the other day. Still he is a danger in the box. He should be cautioned though. kennysville: Moses will never cooperate. Too selfish! More concerned about how he looks than how the team looks. World cup is almost here. Nobody should scream moses is selfish then O! Una dey see now, una still dey smile because its friendlies, he is gettin away with selfishness now. If i hear any noise I will call out names.

Awaziem will be supporting. Simon tracked back during the qualifiers. darkelf: Can simeon cope with the demands of a RWB?
Is he ready to track back when the need arises and as frequently as possible?
It's going to be a really challenging role for him |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 7:31pm On Mar 26, 2018 |
Good observation MetalJigsaw: I think it's better if Ekong is at the center because of his positioning, concentration and vigilance. It you rewatch the Argentina and Poland games you'll see that most of the crosses that were made into our box, Ekong was always there to head them away. And he blocks a lot of shots too- quick shots that could beat Uzoho and into the net. And he's very agile more, than Balogun.
Uzoho needs a very vigilant and focused CB in front of him for obvious reason.
Balogun loses concentration sometimes and that's what caused the controversy about the Poles's claim for a goal.
As the ball bounced onto his chest he wasn't quickly aware as it come to him. It took some seconds to clear the ball which is already heading to the net. |

Spot on. On Iheanacho, we should let that boy deliver on dead ball situations. I even trust him with spot kicks. Role-wise, I won't give KC the primary #10 responsibility. tbaba1234: I thought Balogun had a very good game against Poland. The best, he has had since the Cameroon away leg. His sharpness appears to have returned.
If you watch the game again, you will realise how good he was.
In my opinion, Ekong and Balogun are still the best CB pairing for Nigeria. I will love to see Awaziem -Ekong again though.
I think, Iheanacho flopped in the role of linking the attack, Iwobi might have done a better job there instead of sticking him in the wings. |

One word GROWTH and the willingness to adjust to realities. Not like one-way always thinkers. Her Royal Highness.. way to go rabzy: That shows a lot of reasonableness, i remember she was very much in love with awoniyi during their u17 days, then she later supported iheanancho steadfastly, now she has quietly adjusted her team based on present realities in her opinion. yeah thats the essence of a growing person, always checking and rechecking what position you are and where you should be. |

Kog45: I disagreed with this guy submission on Balogun, against Poland he had a great match and was replaced due to knock.
Just watched the same Poland match again,Balogun was massive and at par with Ekong until he got substituted.
I'm really surprised this is coming from complete sports. |

Nigeria has the right to keep him waiting until he raises his game. At the time he seemed like a very good prospect. Not at the moment... forgiveness: Iorfa Jnr has the right to live and right to choose.
