There was a ball he parried to an onrushing CIV player.. That would have been costly. Besides that, he didn't put a glove wrong

Meliforme:
If he doesn't appreciate his performance against CIV, he is setting himself up for a bigger failure.

OGN says Peseiro hints..
it's just their guess work.

However, I think there is a chance that both can start with Aina playing LWB. Osayi as RWB.

Kog45:
Wow!Aina and Osayi starting.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 12:07pm On Jan 22, 2024

The lyrics fit dey different na.

M7even:
All southern African countries have the same national anthem. And here is South Africa playing Namibia. They just played the same anthem twice. Next time ,CAF should merge the two anthems as one to save time.

Finidi dey sidelines sef? Never seen him.

Mujtahida:
That was a pass not a cross Bro. I was musing how Finidi is in the team and our wingers cannot cross the ball.

@bolded even sleeping Charles go wake now rush you

kennysville:
Watching Chavez game right now. The team is truly a poor team (not talking about money pls) tactically. They play like academy kids. Lots of the players lack the basic football intelligence. Unfortunately that's where our boy Nwakali plies his trade. It is what it is. I hope he moves to a team where he can really do what we all know he is capable of.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 7:30pm On Jan 21, 2024
Yes. I would take a WC semi finalist spot over AFCON title sef.

Kog45:
It is a tournament or you forgot that Saudi beat eventual WC winner Argentina.Yes people talked about Morocco cuz no be moimoi to be WC semi finalist.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 5:09pm On Jan 21, 2024
This AFCON will be very tricky. in the past I was able to predict the eventual winners after the group stage.

I’m very wary even of teams that qualify among the best 3rd placed teams from their group.

charlesemeka85:
Opta ranked Nigeria 4th as potential winners of the AFCON as Morocco is ranked 1st.

Interesting days ahead.

The problem is our game against GB will not be a walk in the park. It’s a game we will also have to fight hard to win.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 7:46pm On Jan 19, 2024
Preferably 3-5-2 without Chuks/Moses

ChrisKels:
With Al Hassan back for our next match, how is the coach gonna set up the team?
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 10:12pm On Jan 18, 2024
He was listed as DM in the formations at the start of the match. Actually he played LCB and later on LB after Omeruo came in for Sanusi.

mostob:
Bassey in DM? Which match please?
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 10:10pm On Jan 18, 2024
Our wing play is not effective. We need to play 3-4-2-1 or 3-5-2

Mujtahida:
For all the fawning talk about Nigeria's attack, our attack is ineffective.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 8:10pm On Jan 18, 2024
