Aribo lol MetalJigsaw: Lol.. And leaving whom (striker) on the bench? None...
I still doubt he'll adopt the 442. He dare not try it. |

I will never praise Jpes ever Oasis007:

Good News is; not every poster on this thread has lost hope or expecting team to fail in Ivory Coast. I am still very much optimistic that Eagles will make us proud and do fanstically well.
Una dey cook JPes now, I hope we gonna praise him if the team eventually makes us proud? Or we gonna hail players and still criticize him?!
True fans never lose hope or give-up. Manchester United ain't doing well, signing wrong players left and right, making wrong decisions up and down, yet REAL fans are still behind the team.
Its free to wail and expect nothing from the team, but allow the Optimists breathe, don't suffocate us with your pessimism. |

You go surprise say he go play Lookman and Osimhen in attack. Flanked in the midfield by Moses and Chukwueze. Curtisaxel10: OGN reports Sadiq Umar is injured. As it stands, only Osimhen is available to play CF tomorrow.
This means the coach can't play 4-4-2. Has to be 4-3-3 with Osimhen as lone striker.
Musa would probably need to come in for Osimhen at the CF position in the second half. Let's hope he still has it in him. |

Not a blessing in disguise o to have only one fit center forward. Will Kelechi be match fit in the second match? How much training will Moffi have with the team before CIV game? Lots of lost time away from the team. Not good at all damagnificentusb: with osimhen likely to be the only fit striker available on matchday 1, 'GBESE RE OO' might be forced to play with a 433 formation. A blessing in disguise ??
Alternatively, he (JP) can play a twin attack of Osimhen and Looman (highly unlikely though)
which would you prefer ?? |

Dem no fear Osimhen before, na now dem come dey fear am. Even as top scorer for qualifiers dem still get belief say dem go out score us. Under this Peseiro na the small teams (I no mean São Tomé grade) I dey fear pass. Starboytwo: I still never see the team wey go beat us. We have the APOTY in our team.
Any team wey face us must shake.
You dey whine you nor see Osimhen?? Firstly, We get God for post.
Bassey, Big/strong/agile for back.
Lord knows who for midfield?? But attack is the FIREPOWER.
To be very serious, Iheanacho is the key, I hope he can be fit. Then won-daran.
It has been revealed already. |

It’s not like Kele is an out and out winger. If Moffi is called up for Boni, we are good. I would rather go for Orban/Akpom/Akor as the joker, for kele AndSunGorilla: Are we sure Iheanacho would be fit enough? I mentioned Tella just in case Seniorman pulls out. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 4:52pm On Jan 09, 2024 |
For sure Tella is not coming. We will need an attacker to replace Boniface anyway. Because besides Osimhen, who do we really have in the team, for a country that is stacked with goal scorers. AndSunGorilla: If in any case a late invitation is sent to Tella to replace anyone, Leverkusen would probably refuse to release Tella. Then on the bright side, Leverkusen at least have Patrick Schick back but for sure, it's an understatement that they would miss Boniface. |
