wink2015:If you're following the trend all over the world you'll know that it's not limited to Nigeria. In US where most adore and queueing to go, police crimes abound there too. Does this say you should kill and roast their heads in the fire as just been barbarically done by these savages, NO! You use all the paraphernalia of legal instrument to fight police brutality including working with your legislators for effective presentation of bills to counter their recklessness. Cop killers in the world over, are never at peace as they are often hunted down for as long as it may take to nab them. Many dangerous criminals even in US and UK etc know this and are often wary because once it's done, you're always in the beam and eventually get dusted. 55 Likes 3 Shares |

If it's Lagos, it's easy to handle his matter even without involving the wife's consent at the first instance by just videoing the whole disturbing scenes and reporting to DSRVT being Domestic and Sexual Violence Team at Ministry of Justice in Alausa Secretariat. They will wade in. Or even WRAHP being Women's Right And Health Project, Ikotun and help her report the despicable abuse. If it where to be in other states, then things had to be dealt with according to the pattern of operations in the states or around some of the communities. |

It's really touching though, I wonder how an "uncle" can ostracize an original heir to his father's estate from the family and scheme of things! I don't know how that works from that yonder mostly when the heir wasn't even an illegitimate son!! Many are saying that the OP is eyeing his father's property, yes he's legally and customarily entitled to it but the area I observed he hasn't handled well was in taking all his family along and playing the role of the next in succession as the father was gradually ageing. You really goofed Mr Ossai. It's obvious there has been disunity in the family from onset moreso you stated of the discontentment even from your father and other family members at you and you either allowed it or unwittingly permitted this till he was sick and you never showed up....this is very wrong traditionally, morally and in principle. Though setting a peaceful pace in a polygamous family where every wife is planning how her own child will outdo the others is a common norm that brings about persistent envy, strife and disunity, but you messed up when he was sick and you were never at his side till his death. This is why you are seen as being materialistic irrespective of your personal achievement. I tell many, always try and mend your family, be that link to bring about oneness... though you may not achieve it 100% but try and be a rallying point! All these misnormer does not in anyway validate or permit your uncle the Hon, with the responsibility of twisting and manipulating the whole scenario to his favour. If anything, by the virtue of his position, he was supposed to bring everybody together and reconcile you all. God has blessed him and he's controlling the family now irrespective of his age being that there are still those older than him in the kindred. Leadership isn't by age or even what substance you can muster but by your charisma, temperance, responsiveness and noble character. These I think, the gentle Honorable does not possess, or how can one debate the brazenness of an "honourable lawmaker" to have dishonourably disobeyed an honourable Court's injunction and went ahead to do "the needful" etc  You can still make your case and you will most definitely get jjustice but you and the rest of your family need to first come together as ONE. A local proverb goes thus "The disunity among the family of snakes is what makes each suffers on its own.. if python was to tag along with cobra, viper, black mamba, boa etc together on same path, who born of a human can dare to hunt them? Take this...Power is transient, it fizzles with time and renders one like an old toothless lion past it's prime. Soon your uncle will leave that "heralded" office but truly doesn't seem to care what tomorrow holds. You and the rest should just all come together and find the best approach to handle it and most importantly...you should also tame the grievances you've nursed with the rest siblings, embrace all with love and affection and you can take a look at the next item on the chart from there. Pull down syndrome! When you're at a very important position where others are beneath you and look up to you, never utter words that could demoralize those among them who you estimated are not measuring up. Rather, help build them with words that will stir them up. Troost Ekong has an indomitable spirit else he could have changed his dream. Many have fallen by the way sure to pursue other leads as a result of harsh criticism. You may want to argue he hasn't gotten to his eldorado in football, but satisfaction can be a personal thing at times. The lad is happy and even grateful for what he has been able to achieve so far on and off the field. 1 Like |

Bobbyjay001:This 1300cc was first produced at about 1962 or thereabout. And there were subsequent production of same models till late 70s. So it doesn't have to be the maiden series of the 1300. Any year of the 1300 production is fine. |
