As far as the whole parties are concerned, they're all the same. But are we going to find an Angel to float a new party for us in Nigeria?

Someone said one party system for Nigeria is deadly and I wholly support so too. We can't allow only one party to take affairs. Now that there's still opposition, imagine the kind of strangulations we are having in the governance. I am not sure you're enjoying the show except you're not a Nigerian or you live outside the country.

Well said and on point.
If we can only think first before the party matters and reason our existence, it would've been better. Masses are the one in the bakery, while the political juggernauts are the one sampling the taste of the products ie eating the national cake at will!

PDP members and it supporters are all rogue set of people. INEC should just de lists pdp as a party.

And if they're delisted you think any of these APGA, Labour etc can mount any stronger opposition? Well of course if the rest parties can all abort their ego and merge. The two bigger parties are well in the same boat, bros! No one is different.

The Poverty Development Party is dying a slow and painful death. Glory be to God.

Hmmm, indeed...but what then do you propose?
We are drifting towards one party system. This is dangerous for a country like Nigeria that don't learn from mistakes. One party is like an AK47 in the hand of a raving mad man in the market. Imagine what he can do with that.
Politics / Re: Pro Secondus Protest At PDP Headquarters, Abuja! by joedave(m): 4:59pm On Aug 24, 2021
OBJ said he's retired back then but can only give his advice. There need to be an assemblage of party to come together and give APC a good fight come 2023.

What's happening to PDP is not good for our democracy. One wish a fusion of stronger party can emerge so we don't fall into one party affair at the end.

Lol ... Secondus should stop embarrassing the party by engaging paid protesters and accept the decision of the court in good fate.

But looking at it, he could have been allowed to ease out of the system without the party risking this implosion staring them at their faces.

The sack by the court was more like the staff of Moses and the finger of God. If you think it wasn't the act of the main masquerade behind Secondus ordeal, then you might have a closer look.

It is most definite that Secondus and his sympathizers in the party won't go down without a fight and this may cause deeper crisis.

It bound to happen even away from Secondus group, the deputy has dissolved the NWC but it's not holding any effect as the NWC had held meeting already fixing NEC for Friday. There's more to come in the next few days.

I'm wandering why Secondus learn nothing from what happened between Oshiomole and Obaseki. He should have done everything possible to make sure his ward chairman is on his(Secondus) side. He is not a smart politician.

Don't "wander" too much...Wike has got a noose on his jugular and will use every fiber he can lay his hands on, to bring Secondus down. Who is the ward chairman when Wike will bark his instructions?

No not at all! You're entitled to any inflow into your account. However, you're not entitled to if I may break it down "physical cash deposit of above $10k monthly". You can't take the cash to the bank and begin to deposit from God knows where you've stashed it in the past. This is to monitor many who's got it hidden in one safe crib.

Transfer of any amount is acceptable either by instant wire/swift provided there's proof.

They said MONEY alone doesn't sustain LOVE and LOVE alone is not ENOUGH, PLEASE can SOMEBODY tell me what SUSTAINS marriage?

Bro, what sustains marriage is not one. That's why many homes can't cope! Hope you find this helpful.

Love- This is most vital and should be unconditional.

Mutual respect-As it's known, Respect is reciprocal. If you value your partner, you earn the respect.

Tolerance-Inasmuch as you can't separate your own body from yourself for certain mistakes you might have committed, then learn to tolerate your partner as we're all prone to mistakes now and then.

Sacrificing-When it's sweet and when it's sour, don't let people come in between you because they will definitely want to know what makes your marriage thick and will throw aspersions.

Compromise-Always learn to let go at times. You can't always have your way. Being the head or the tail don't make one foolish, but for the sake of peace. You may be called simp by some, face your front. They're more simps in their homes.

Commitment-Be strongly committed to the cause of marriage and the partner you vowed to ever be with. Irrespective of challenges, your commitment can always make you overcome.

Godly-Any house built on sand shall collapse. Let God be the first and last in your relationship. He will always see you through the thick, thin and thicket!

Lola and Peter have their own problems just because they are too scared of what people might say remain in the same marriage doesn't mean their marriage is perfect

Paul and his wife Anita are more mature and civilised to head for divorce than do police eye service Peter and Lola are doing

Keep your ugly afonja sister no Igbo man will come for her, the only reason Peter married Lola it's because of her family background her money

Mheennn!! Just look at that! They have their own problems and are too scared to admit it for what people would say Are you kidding?? You talked like their marriage counselor. I remembered that few months ago, Peter was still showering encomiums publicly on his wife.

If there should be the couple that had been struggling to muffle the obvious disharmony for what people will say, then it's this couple that just had it blown publicly. They would have had many close friends and relatives talking to them but the lady eventually decided to go South. Please don't let us be blinded by tribalism.

Any marriage can get divorced irrespective of the couple's tribal affiliations.

Shut up! You are beginning to sound like a broken record. Was your mother not first a Nigerian woman before your dad married her, had sex with her and she became a revered MOTHER that can do no wrong?

Were you not one of the tribal warlords calling Lola (the Yoruba witch) a bad woman?

Were you not one of those that said she should learn from Anita how to be submissive and keep a family together?

Because you can’t bring yourself to attack Anita’s tribe, since you are Igbo yourself, you have decided to lump women together.

When you guys are not tearing yourselves down along tribal lines, next thing is to face your common enemy- WOMEN.

Tell us why Anita, the accepted IGBO PERFECT and SUBMISSIVE WIFE ran away. Maybe Peter is indeed right!

This is why every wise man should create a balance between his nuclear family and extended family. Peter separated himself from them and since they couldn’t see Lola (their common enemy) to prey on and blame every wrongdoing on, they turned on themselves.

Ayyeee ooo! Now, this is truly reflective.

Just like someone said, get her a lawyer.
Indians and other "koras" generally don't like matters advancing to courts. But our people don't know their rights.

Get a lawyer on her behalf and let the employer be served a notice immediately on illegal detention and confiscation of private property. You will see him begging to settle out of court.

Let him be served quickly. They are Masters in twisting narratives. Before he doctored the account statements and rope the poor girl. Don't get intimidated, he may want to still use police to bark at you all before the victims eventual release but stand your ground.

Go get a smart lawyer, the matter doesn't need to get to court but to scare him and he may even compensate her with the effort of a brilliant lawyer.

Crime / Hacker Offered Reward After $600m Heist. by joedave(m): 1:36pm On Aug 13, 2021
A hacker who stole just over $600m (£433m) worth of cryptocurrency was offered $500,000 and immunity as a reward for returning the money.

Poly Network made the controversial offer after the hacker pledged to send back the money. The attack was uncovered on Tuesday when Poly Network publicly pleaded with the hacker to help.

One former FBI official said "private companies have no authority to promise immunity from criminal prosecution".

The attack is one of the largest hacking heists in history. Poly Network said the person had exploited a vulnerability in its system.

Most of the money has now been given back, although the hacker says they are not interested in the reward.

Shortly after the hack the anonymous individual posted notes to the publicly available blockchain taunting the company and asking for advice on how to launder his stolen riches. Later, the criminal claimed "not to be interested in money" and promised to return it all.

By Thursday evening, Poly Network said most of the remaining assets in the hacker's possession had been transferred to a digital wallet controlled by both the hacker and the company.

Poly Network says it is still waiting for the repayment process to be fully completed but that it is working with the hacker.

A portion of the stolen coins were frozen shortly after the attack have not yet been transferred but can't be used by the hacker anyway.

"The hacker still holds $33.4m of stolen Tether [tokens] - because it has been frozen by Tether themselves," Tom Robinson, co-founder of Elliptic, a London-based blockchain analytics and compliance firm, told the BBC.

He added that it could be seen on the blockchain that "a few thousand dollars' worth of various other tokens" were being held onto by the hacker.

It was not clear, however, if these were part of the stolen assets, or donations that the hacker requested people to send them on Thursday as a thank you for returning the money.

Other money outstanding also includes a 13.37 Ether tip ($40,000), which the hacker sent to a user who warned them that the Tether tokens had been frozen by its developer.

In a three page Q&A posted online the anonymous hacker claimed he or she carried out the heist for fun and to encourage cryptocurrency exchange firm Poly Networks to improve its security.

IMMUNITY

Poly Network appears to have accepted the explanation and dubbed the hacker "Mr White Hat". White hat hackers are ethical security researchers who use their skills for good to help organisations find security flaws.

Poly Network confirmed that it sent a note to the attacker saying "we believe that your action is white hat behaviour, we plan to offer you a $500,000" reward.

The firm added: "We assure you that you will not be accountable for this incident."

The alleged move has angered some in the security world who are worried that it might set a precedent for criminal hackers to white-wash their actions.

Katie Paxton-Fear, a white hat hacker and lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University, says that "labelling this hack as white hat is just really disappointing".

Mrs Paxton-Fear has found over 30 vulnerabilities in organisations ranging from the US Department of Defense (DoD) to Verizon Media.

'NO AUTHORITY'

"White hat hacking is all about having a scope, not touching some systems, working with the team, writing professional reports detailing our findings, not going further than we have to to demonstrate risk," she said.

"Our approach is 'first, do no harm', potentially verifying fixes are put in place and not putting any users data at risk."

Charlie Steele, Partner at Forensic Risk Alliance and former Department of Justice and FBI official is also concerned about the alleged offer from Poly Network.

"Private companies have no authority to promise immunity from criminal prosecution," he told the BBC.

He added: "In this event where a hacker stole the $600m 'for fun' and then returned most of it, all while remaining anonymous, is not likely to lessen regulators' concerns about the variety of risks posed by crypto-currencies."

This is quite impressive. If that axis can be utilised optimally for full commercial transportation within the annexes, it would be a lot saner.

The posing problem may be maintenance of the structures and largely security of commuters now that it's starting to operate long distance destinations which will attract both low and high class travellers.

Kudos still.
