Nobody is against Naira redesign if it is done in a sensible manner. What Nigerians are against is political undertones in its redesign which the CBN is pursuing to the detriment of the masses. The CBN is a monetary/economic agency of government and not a political party.

Emefile is partisan..Any decision he takes at the helms of affairs will always have political tone.In a sane country, he would have stepped aside.

Logically, the old notes should still be in circulation..It should not be withdrawn.

Kano and Ondo state has gone to court, because they've realized that the Supreme Court ruling is OYO tings. The only bank collecting old notes is Bank De Elrufai.

The policy is ill timed.. Emefile only acted in bad faith because he lost APC presidential ticket.I have never seen a partisan CBN governor like this man ..
Now that court has stopped the implementation of the deadline temporarily, if APC as it is alleged have stockpiles of money somewhere, it means they will win the election because everybody now wants cash because CBN has made the cash to be very scare..

The injunction is an interlocutory decision, it subsists pending the determination of the suit to protect the res.

In simpler terms, the injunction will be binding on the parties until the Supreme Court decides on the matter.

For instance, If a State Government wants to demolish a building and the owner gets an injunction from a high court of the state to prevent the demolition, the injunction will last until the high court decides whether the Government has the right to demolish the building or not because if the Government destroys the building before the judgement of the court, the government will not be able to rebuild the exact building if the court rules in favour of the owner of the building.

The central bank of Nigeria and the FG will not be able to repair the damages that will occur because of the rejection of old naira notes if the judgment favours the State Governors at the end. The injunction will therefore subsist till the matter is determined.

If judgment is given in 2030, That's when the injunction will elapse
