babasolution:See if Lagos is not going to be beneficial to the whites, they won't have made it the capital city...Do you think during slave trade, the whites didn't reject some slaves that were offered to them...If you can't fit into the plans of the white, they won't come close to you.. Whatever they built in Lagos is in Kaduna too..If you don't know the one Nigeria we practice in Nigeria is affecting the progress wheel of South west. Can you imagine Abia state is owing it's medical doctors 25 months salary....This can never happen in the south west.. Tell me what is left there if the government can't provide his citizens with security and health facilities....These are reasons why your people are japaing to other regions to enjoy good life |
Just imagine this...Basic amenities they can't provide for their citizens...This is among the many reasons their citizens run to other states and regions to enjoy cheap medical facilities being financed by other regions state governors. No security, No medical facility yet they collect monthly allocation from Abuja...I wonder what is left in Abia state. This is among the reasons they are japaing to other region to enjoy good life. |
babasolution:You list them... Moreover let me shock you..There's no federal government project you mentioned in Lagos that is not in Kaduna state.Lagos has been built by the Yorubas already and doing very well before the British made it capital city. |
Kwankwaso knows what he's doing....He knows he can't win 2023 election...He doesn't have the spread...He is only interested in Northwest votes as a launch pad for 2027 presidential election.....He wants to capture the north west first... |
tungamaje:Then if you can't hold your own leaders accountable for the federal allocation they collect on behalf of the state every month, don't condemn other region leaders. The north west and south west do hold their leaders accountable. If we can't hold our governors that are close to us accountable, then we have no moral right to blame Buhari for whatever we are facing in this country. |
Pierced:Same Obollo afor. This is from your compatriot. https://www.nairaland.com/5197999/obollo-afor-ruins |
Sammy07:That's what I'm telling them...It's not by individual efforts...There government can't provide basic infrastructures for them in their respective villages...gbam they troop to other regions to start enjoying infrastructures other states put in place. All those places they are calling city...I've asked them severally the infrastructures there to make life meaningful to them... Nobody answered...After all they collect the whole state allocation not state capital allocation from the east. |
babasolution:No wonder.... |
inspirator1:All the things you are saying are what individuals did... What has the government done there...After all, they collect allocation from Abuja. |
inspirator1:In the south west, all general hospitals there are functioning optimally...At least there's one in a local government...not like Ohafia that even electricity they don't have. |
babasolution:Lagos is south east then.....Tell me if there are Ijebus, Aworis and Egun that are indigenous to the east...Do you know that Awka can be compared to Jere in Kaduna and Ile ife in Osun state...Soon you will say Mowe, Ibafo too was former fct....If your region is okay, you won't be leaving in droves to other regions to enjoy the infrastructures their government put in place...The way Lagos has federal projects is the way other states have federal projects too..Lagos as a capital was limited to only 2 lga of Lagos island and Lagos mainland...Thats where you will see Federal government projects.Outside those two local government area, no federal projects. |
MrColdsweat:I won't argue with you but can you tell us the infrastructures your government put in place in Mbaise that will make people not to leave Mbasie cos as far as I know security is zero in Mbasie |
MrColdsweat:Tell us what your state governments have done in the south east that will attract people from other regions to your region.... |
agadez007:At least they are claiming the state in their region, with the same culture and tradition and Lagos is the pride of all Yorubas in Nigeria, Benin republic and even in Brazil... |
7lives:Their region is Eldorado yet they troop to other people's villages in the north and in the south west.... South south that south west shares border with, they don't leave their own region trooping to south west.If the necessary infrastructures are in place, they are not meant to be leaving their own region to a region that they think is below par to them after all they have many cities they can go in their region. |
greatiyk4u:I said Nsukka has a small stadium....5000 seaters capacity that was commissioned last year December... Besides this, what has the government put in place to make Nsukka worth living? The only place worth living in the whole of Enugu state is Enugu metropolis. You can google for us to support your points.Show us picture of Nsukka market too. |
christejames:You are dodging the questions asked...Its an opportunity for you to let us know how Nsukka is...I don't need to proof anything to you again...Nsukka is a village. The only place that is developed in Enugu state is Enugu town...Thanks to Sullivan....Even Abakaliki got a turn around as a result of Umahis efforts. |
christejames:With their community stadium? Is there flyover there? Is there dual carriage way there? Is there intercity cabs in Nsukka?Besides the school, what's the selling point of Nsukka ? |
christejames:Oh Ugwuayi commissioned a 5000 seat community stadium in Nsukka when ijebu ode has an international stadium since 2005.. It's not by chest beating...Others on this forum wants to learn from you...Be honourable and answer my questions.. okay |
greatiyk4u:Is it not the same obollo afor that's northward? Can you please show us picture of Nsukka that is competing with Enugu metropolis? Does Nsukka have a stadium? Are there banks in Nsukka asides the ones in the school compound? Can you name them...Which company is in Obollo afor? Are banks there? How many tarred roads are in Obollo afor? You are just typing as if Enugu wey I know is Eldorado...All these transekulu, obiagu, uwani, nothing to |
greatiyk4u:I know all these places bro...I swear to God almighty,...Ibafo, mowe better pass these places...Nsukka is zero....I was there Oct 2022 for a burial... |
owobokiri:I live in the north...I know all these places you mentioned...But do you realize that it's the south east that is benefitting more from the federal system Nigeria practices? Imagine Oyo state with almost the land mass of South east has 5 states? Meaning what is given to Oyo state that has the size of South east , south east collects 5 times of it as FAAC monthly yet no visible development in the south east. When a particular state is being cheated with FAAC coupled with migration to the region how do you expect that region to grow? What this means is that the south west has been the states shouldering the responsibilities of most states by providing infrastructures for these Nigerians that have found succour in the region. This is the reason the south west has been clamouring for regionalism because they know they are being cheated. |
inspirator1:You included the same Ohafia that doesn't have a functional general hospital... |
babasolution:All these Orlu,Nsukka are in the class of Ibafo in Ogun state while Aba can be compared to Mowe in Ogun state if you know these towns I mentioned well...I lived in the East and I know all these places you mentioned very well. You are a mediocre for comparing Nsukka with Oyo...Asides the university, can you list any infrastructure outside the university...I mean in the town...No infrastructure...No motorable road in the whole of Nsukka...They are all bad...Asides Owerri and Orlu in Imo state, can you mention another Town in Imo state?Aside Aba and Umuahia in Abia state, mention another Town? What has the government put in place as infrastructure in all these so called towns you mentioned. |
Bluntemperor:There's something I learnt from Tinubu...Once you set your aim on something, if your enemies want to distract you, don't fall rather face what you've set your eyes to achieve aggressively. |
mrvitalis:Exactly...The Muslims speak with one voice, buy over some of the elders in southern Kaduna and the Muslims have it.Had it been Patrick Yakowa is alive now, he would have been their voice and political leader.May his soul rest in peace.Amen |
mrvitalis:They are even more than 50%.The problem of southern Kaduna is their elders and they don't speak with one voice...They are so divided. |
There's something about Tinubu...He has empathy...He's not begging them to campaign for him, they are only showing gratitude.. Tinubu may not spend alot in this campaign..It may be people he has helped that will finance his Campaign...No matter the position you are, try to help people... Nobody knows tomorrow..The people you help today may be your own helper tomorrow without you knowing... |
femisplash:So many injustice...The truth is the population is not there in the north west.. That's why they left their borders open for Nigerians to shore up their population there....This coming election, you will see that the BVAS southerners are jubilating over won't work in the north west and north east because it will expose the fake population statistics they've been churning out.Kano has 44 lgas while jigawa an arid state has 20lgas...What's the justification for this? |
mrvitalis:The truth is Nigeria is not meant to be a country..The British should have balkanized it before they granted our independence. There's issue of ethnicity, religion etc.. |
femisplash:Just imagine Jigawa with the same local government council as Lagos, Kano with almost the same population as Lagos having more than twice of the local government Lagos has... Height of injustice....So many injustices caused by the nepotistic military head of states. |
mrvitalis:Well, it depends on what you meant but I know in the USA which we modelled their own system of government, there is federal government, state government, local council areas too. |
