I don't indulge in self deceit, Igbos are industrious people, strong and hardworking,so they are all over the world doing businesses,when it's festive season,they go home to the east...Yorubas are lazy People who desire fast money without doing anything significant (Not all)

Most Yorubas hate Igbos, that's why many of them are scared to live or do business in the east, they can't cope with the differences due to their sentimental,bias lifestyle,and hypocritical mindset.

Most Igbos are strong fearless people,they can be everywhere and anywhere at anytime as long as it involves business or gain.
And that's why you see many Igbos in Lagos than you see many Yorubas in Igbo land.

Igbos don't hate the Yorubas at all, they only hate the fact that Yorubas hate em so much for no concrete reason.
Mind you, it's not about loving money too much,it's about the drive for success, most Igbos live a rich lifestyle, many Yorubas dwell in poverty.

I've traveled to an extent and I can tell u that I know Yorubas and Igbos to the core!, Just that people are different,so I respect individual differences,but don't come acting like Lagos is paradise and Anambra is a cave...Travel to Anambra or any eastern states and see things yourself,it can't be all perfect as there must be some really terrible areas and things.

And that applies to most countries in Africa and the world.


The population and businesses in Lagos is what makes the state generate enough revenue...So therefore, world class infrastructures must be put in place to make the state work,hence its the business hub of the nation.

Make researches about these states, you can't just be talking anyhow about the east to make Lagos seem like heaven when sane ones know that Lagos is only a glorified slum!

Some villages in the east are far more clean,sane and organised than the so called Lagos.

Most are in Lagos because of business/work, many were born in Lagos also ,so automatically it's their state of birth and residence.

I traveled to imo state some years ago, my aunty took me to her friend's house, a very old woman in her 60s, her name was Bose...she's Yoruba but stayed in the east all her life and even built her house there, she told me many things that excited me...so man, there's Yorubas in the east, as u can't come up with the exact figure of Igbos in the south west, same way I can't come up with the total amount of Yorubas in the south east...but as there are Igbos here, so there are Yorubas in Igbo land too and they live there peacefully.

While we may not have known the rich man spoken about in the above passage, over the years we've witnessed and heard shocking news of several rich persons we least expected dying young, the most recent being the death of the 3 year-old son of the 'assurance' crooner, Davido, to prove that worldly riches cannot give anyone the assurance of life or guarantee that the person would live to see til the next moment even as Jesus had depicted in His Word.

Sadly though, many, including Christians, still believe that a man's life consists in such earthly possessions, which hasn't been helped by many church leaders hardly preaching and teaching men to observe such sayings of Jesus in their churches today.

Instead you'd even hear them saying things to the contrary, to the extent of bragging about their earthly riches, as though a man's life consisted of such things, which has misled many and given them the false impression, however such instances of the rich dying young, prove the Words of Jesus true, that riches cannot give any man the assurance of life because a man's life doesn't consist in such things.

Therefore do not be deceived for even the rich can die at any moment, that's why it's important that the rich also prepare for eternity which is only a breath away.

Only God can give a man the assurance of life.
