FreeStuffsNG: Speaking on the perks as well as the disadvantages attached to relocating abroad, especially being a celebrity, Femi Brainard said it is better to be celebrated and be a prince in Nigeria than to move abroad and be a nobody. He also noted that his wife does not love it at all.
Eni awifun Oba je o gbo.
Many of them are so stuck now that they can't even be as sincere to themselves as he is.
It's nothing but a wrong mindset to think that you will resent your own land/ country and expect that you will prosper on that land or overseas, it's impossible!
When you are not blessed in Nigeria, it's not because others are not doing well here in Nigeria, for most of you, you were horribly raised with the wrong mindset and indoctrinated to hate Nigeria by some of your parents who were part of those behind the multiple problems now facing the nation so you ended up and continued your life in a circle of negative minded unpatriotic people. You curse Nigeria, the land curses you back in multiple folds and nothing you sow in the land will prosper but if you bless Nigeria, the land blesses you back in multiples.
Until you wish Nigeria well and do your best in patriotism, you will never be blessed by this land and if you carry your resentment and hatred for Nigeria overseas, the rejection by Nigeria will follow you like your shadow.
The grass is always greener on the other side until you get there. What you are doing here in Nigeria is so valuable that if you nurture it well, you will one day be going overseas for business/ professional travels and enjoy vacations with your family and friends. And even if you still don't go overseas, you will be happy, safe, fulfilled and blessed here in Nigeria.
God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs! You are wise. |

Hi Bhol28: Advanced countries are not for weak minds and lazy folks.I will japa to Yankee again in my next life if there is one and I find myself in countries like naija, jobless with B.sc at age 30 and later got a 70k job with an Msc. at almost 40.Reason is that as I am presently after being in this Yankee and hussle for just 7 years I am already a house owner in both here and in Naija.I can afford to change my car whenever I feel like.JUST WORK HARD AND PRAY FOR GRACE.Its easier to overcome poverty in advanced countries. Abroad is good for people that depends on 9 to 5 jobs, but being a cab driver from being an actor is a step backwards... creative people are cashing out in naija...cars is not a problem to many business people in Nigeria, so many have houses and tenants too, but i understand if people go abroad to look for work, because of the poor wages in Nigeria, but people successful in their business here are living good. It's about choice, and decisions. Abroad is not better, because a lot there too are living at the bottom of the food chain. |

This japa syndrome has to do with a neo colonialism agenda and mentality...but of course wage differences are an issue...but why would a successful actor go become a cab driver...actors are getting international gigs from Nigeria and tapping from the local endorsement deals, appearances etc...how much can you really make being a cab driver in America?
We need to free ourselves from this mentality. |

Or the US is not battling with gun violence!
Hello kid, when critical international matters are on the table, it’s a shared responsibility to take stance and call-out. Hello Methuselah, US gun violence is not the same as the Fulani terrorists, bokoharam, Iswap existential threat on Nigeria. Bokoharam want us all extinct, want to turn this space to a Islamic nation, Fulani herdsmen wants to capture southern lands, Iswap too wants to create an Islamic caliphate in West Africa...stop comparing these to criminal gun violence. This minister have never spoken out against the fulani herdsmen, why can't he speak out for Congo in Africa, or people perishing in Ukraine...why is he continuously talking about Gaza...it reeks of religious sentiments. |

It’s mind boggling that some Africans still support same Israel who sponsored apartheid in South Africa, and same time occupying Congo.
A terrorist state that has no diamond but its biggest export is diamond, which is exploited from Africa through violence.
Who told Africans that the Palestinian occupation is a religious thing? Lets even imagine it’s a religious thing, Do the Zionist give a fvck about Christianity?
Do these same lot know. But he’s were bombed too, and it’s a Jewish tradition to spit on Christians? Oh! Seems most don’t know Christianity was almost banned in same Israel.
Zionist are occupiers and the history is not hidden to anybody. European Zionist who cannot even submit for a DNA. Netanyahu himself won’t submit himself for a DNA.
Y’all keep celebrating people occupying your own continent. It will get to everyone. The White South Africans are already standing up and I believer the current play will repeat itself, and y’all will be forced to support it. Cry for Benue being ravaged by Fulani terrorists and their Sahel brothers. |

sweetgala: You think villagers in Katsina and Zamfara are sheltering kidnappers and bandits willingly and refusing to give information to the army.
What sort of delusion or ignorance is this that has befallen you.
Banditry is a profitable business now in Nigeria because we have succumbed into paying kidnappers a kingly ransom and have not visited them with the correct amount of violence they deserve.
Northern oligarchs and elites are themselves victims no different to any other part of Nigeria where crime has become entrenched.
Do we use same rational for the SS and militancy, because there we have communities who have not done enough, their sons are either pirates , involved in oil bunkering, illegal refinery. They've driven away business, contaminated their rivers and rendered their region into poverty and underdevelopment, in fact the SS is by far the least developed section of Nigeria and by percentile the least educated.
Or do we adapt your rational to the SE and ESN, we've seen people hail the ESN convoys as they drive past major towns on the way to their murderous adventures. Yet we are made to believe the people are victims.
It's the duty of the government to apply violence to unrepentant terrorist wherever they may find them and in whatever way they present themselves and also bring justice and fury to deter other from contemplating such.
The issue of banditry was born from the response of the previous governments to militancy, everyone is just stepping up to collect their portion of the national cake and some have opted to use violence to get to tye front of the line.
It's time that government serve naughty children in the language their understand.
May God save Nigeria. They are people conniving with them in those communities, traditional rulers, religious and social leaders etc... Don't you hear of releasing of terrorists in the North, in the name of rehabilitation, is this not a detrimental action to the security of the north? I didn't hear a single Northern activist protest this action, all because you feel they are your brothers. Don't you hear of bandits being given wives and titles in the North? Who are the people joining their ranks... Northern youths. Who are the girls keeping them warm? Who are those cooking for them? Who are the spotters for the bandits and terrorists? Who are the fulani herdsmen? Who make up the ranks of bokoharam... Iswap etc....Northern youths and their Sahel brothers. You people are the ones fighting yourself. All these violence in Northern Nigeria has its roots in the social/cultural/religious ideology of the North...a society is a product of the people that live there. The almajiri system in itself is a recipe for disaster, and is one of the biggest problems of the north, it benefits the oligarchy system, and this is a breeding ground for raw recruits for terrorists and bandits. When the almajiri grows up with no job or training/education, he knows no way to make a living, based on the ideology of the system, which is asking for alms. When this man grows up poor, broke and indoctrinated in religion, it is very easy for bokoharam, Iswap to twist same religion, manipulate same passages and initiate them into their religious extremism and terrorism groups. Stop burying your head in the sand, am just here offering solutions to Northern problems because I have some friends in the north too. |

Worst decision of Tinubu, he is trying to please foreign nations and entities and threw Nigeria under the bus.
The floating is ill timed, there is a right time for everything.
Why float the naira when we are not yet an exporting nation, when we depend on dollars for all our imports?
Government should have given timelines, boost local production through Bank of industry, protecting local industries, reducing taxes for manufacturers and farmers, providing incentives like free lands for Nigerian farmer business men, then watch this economic investment grow, for like 10 years, then when Nigeria start to produce at least 75% of all we use and buy, you can think of floating.
Government policies should be for good of the people, for results, not for textbook economic permutations and to get praises from IMF, who are pure profiteer capitalist. |
