ladymarshall, Wassey and Johnnybravo1990. Abeg, make una come do for me wetin una do for this guy. I need to smash my IELTS too sad .
Any whatsapp group? Please add me.

For me, I coach one-on-one. I have a soft spot for candidates who have attempted IELTS before, because I can imagine the pain they have experienced in not getting their desired scores. For first-timers, I may however find time to assist.

Gentlemen! The first breakthrough is here

Listening 8.5

Reading 8.5

Writing 8.0

Speaking 8.5

First attempt. I'm so elated right now.

My appreciations to everyone, particularly ladymarshall. Thank you for your time and sacrifice. I'm so glad I could make it worth it. Oga Wassey, your dedication is uncommon and I benefitted immensely from joining your class. Thanks Johnnybravo1990 too for the last minute tip.

Congrats bro. I am so glad for your result. I will be humble here; when I saw your only essay sample, one day to the exam, I already knew you had writing in the bag, and that you didn’t need much guidance from me. I only gave you my blessing, and maybe one or two tips, like you said. When I see someone who will excel in IELTS writing, I know them straightaway just by reading the their essay. If you could remember, I said you were better than me in writing, as at when I did my exam, and your result confirmed it: your 8 versus my 7.5. I’m glad you passed the other components as well. All the best bro.

Ngannou, meh I don't see him ever getting back to the pre-Miocic level. Shame because he was what tuned me back into MMA. His uppercut KO of Overeem was chilling.
Still he wins this one. Decision.

Masvidal is going to kill Askren. Herb Dean won't be there this time(jk).
KO 2nd round.

I don't like calling Jon Jones' fights. Dude is just too annoying.

And Holly. No chance against Nunes.
KO 1st round.

Easy win for Ben Askren.

Quite sad, so many people are excited to flee their motherland to help grow and build up a white man's land. It's just like what my friend used to say, 'immigration is modern day slavery except this time they do not have to forcibly chain able bodied men to slave ships or rape our women, they just make it easier for your youngest and brightest minds to simply emigrate in droves'. Who will build this country if you all leave, have you ever thought of that? You think once you run to Canada you will still have any reason to return home? How about your kids? Do you think by taking them to Nigeria for 3weeks vacation will entice them to one day relocate to their father land? Sure nobody thinks about these things. The biggest problem the black race has is selfishness while the white man thinks about the greater good of a community. Everyone only thinks about what will benefit them and their family and that's where it ends. Even in the so called abroad, your fellow Nigerian will not want to accommodate or guide you because they think you will be better than them. Common info about schools, work or getting certain government documents, your fellow Nigerian in the diaspora will not help you. White countries and white people In general are successful because they collaborate and help each other. U.S, Canada and the UK are amongst the most developed countries today due to strong trade and military alliance. A white employer will hire a fellow white man for a lucrative job position before he hires an immigrant with the same credentials.

No truer words than these. Even after we go to Canada, we need to come back, and contribute our quota to the development of Nigeria and Africa.

Even after I returned from Germany a year ago, I never intended to live outside Nigeria. As tempting as the beautiful city of Munich was, I always cherished my Nigeria and my culture. Also, I believe happiness is a thing of the mind, and happiness can only be gotten by contentment and gratitude for life, and not necessarily by your environment, whether you live in Nigeria or Canada; trust me, I have been through a lot in life, and many things we strive for in life are all vanity.

I have always been pro-African, and I still am. However, let me give you this narration. After some health challenges(the reason I travelled to Germany), I lose my job. And after returning to Nigeria from Germany, it becomes difficult to get another stable job, and I struggle—or let me say, I barely manage—to cope, financially. I do lot of job applications, but a good job seems to be elusive. For many job interviews I attend, I always come out successful in the interview tests or exams, but that is where it ends. Many of my peers get jobs through the usual ‘connection’, but unfortunately for me, I do not have any godfather. As much as I love Nigeria, and in fact Africa and the black race, I cannot continue like this! Luckily for me, I write my IELTS exam, and I pass it in my first attempt, and the Canadian dream starts to unfold. So, what do I do next? I fully commit to the Canadian dream and continue the Canadian PR application process.

I believe many people share the same, or similar story with mine. We are leaving Nigeria not because we hate Nigeria, but because we feel we can achieve a better use of our lives abroad, and life seems to be easier over there. Hopefully, we who who have Nigeria and Africa in our hearts will come back and see how we can improve our fatherland. There will be no greater joy in me than seeing the black race stand equal with other races. I even run a facebook page to that cause. I will definitely do more than a facebook page if I have more resources, in terms of knowledge, exposure(especially internationally), and even finance.

In conclusion, I would say, anyone who fancies the Canadian dream, please give it a try. But please, always have Nigeria in your heart, and truly, we need to uplift our country and our continent. That should be one of our aims of going to Canada. Our purpose should not just be, ourselves and family, but Nigeria and Africa. No matter how bad our country and continent have treated us, we still owe them our contributions for their improvement.

Hello house,
How are you doing today? Congratulations to all PPR & ITA clinchers, IELTS smashers and ECA holders (there's no small victory)....
Please, concerning ECA with CES, i chose an option of delivery via mail to an address in Canada, which ofcourse, can't be tracked. My question now is that will i at any point of this application need to submit the copy that CES will be sending to me? I understand they will forward a soft copy to me which i can use to enter the pool.
I need clarifications please; before i shoot myself in the leg

You don’t need to submit any copy. You just need only the reference number, which is the same for both the soft copy and the hard copy.

In fact !!! I can testify to it.
You are good. I realized my loopholes, although I have not written again but I know that I am better than I was.

Eeeh! Oga bravo, i hope i put in the conjunction and commas appropriately grin

Punctuation is not so good here. Remove the comma after ‘loopholes’. Use a fullstop, or a semicolon, and let the rest of the sentence stand like an independent clause. Also, ‘although’ and ‘but’ are doing the same function; you can’t use both. Use only one of them. Finally, put a comma after ‘again’, and then, you have a grammatically correct sentence.

*Edited* Also, you can’t say, ‘I am better than I was’. Instead, say, ‘I am better than how I was’.

You are doing well.

Boss man, is there any general advice you can give to all struggling with writing? I feel that you having to review everyone's essays might become overwhelming.

I wish I could, but any general advice will not do much good. Every person’s writing inadequacies are unique, and each person needs a personal tutor to groom them, by the tutor reviewing their writing samples. However, you need to be sure your tutor is good in writing.

2ND- OCT 2017: LRWS- 7.0, 8.0, 8.0, 7.5 (BC) EOR UNCHANGED

3RD- SEPT 8TH 2018: LRWS- 8.5, 7.0, 6.0, 8.5 (MOD) EOR CHANGED WRITING TO 6.5

4TH- SEPT 29TH 2018: LRWS- 8.0, 7.0, 6.5, 8.5 (MOD) EOR UNCHANGED

5TH- FEB 14TH 2019: LRWS- 8.5, 8.0, 6.5, 8.0 (BC) EOR CAME OUT UNCHANGED TODAY

You will be fine. I will be reviewing your writing samples until your next IELTS. I promise you; you will definitely improve in writing if I coach you. My scrutinization of essays are very thorough, I must warn, making most IELTS takers feel like they are very bad. But with time, they get to realise that they were actually bad, and the IELTS examiners just did their job. Hopefully, you will pass your next attempt. Even before your next exam, you would have noticed how improved you are in writing, and you will be glad you met me. I have seen your whatsapp message. We can start something tomorrow if you are set.

It’s high time we fined those who have been silent, only for them to appear at ‘PPR’. Share your progress or experience with us as you proceed through the process. We could ask questions, and even learn from it. Take a leaf from Ifeoma77’s book. No one knows you here; are you scared you will be witch-hunted?

MY PPR STORY EPISTLE

ECA: 30th March, 2017
IELTS: 6th June, 2017 (LRWS – 8.5, 9, 7, 7.5)
CRS Score: 449
ITA: 25th April, 2018
AOR: 10th May, 2018
Medicals Passed: 24th May, 2018
Interview: 14th February, 2019
Remedicals Request: 14th February, 2019
PPR: 15th February, 2019
COPR: 26th March, 2019

The interviewer told me the purpose of the interview was to determine my eligibility. All of my documents were thoroughly checked (I arranged them in an orderly manner using office clips but when I entered the interview room, they were all spread out on a table). It turned out that they needed to be absolutely certain of my marital status and that I understood the implication. I applied as married but life happened and I became separated which I informed IRCC of along with the necessary document. The questions were mostly personal and the interviewer wanted to be sure that POF was still intact.

A question to Zutlin, and to the house in general: It seems your separation was the cause of the long delay. But how does being separated maritally affect your ‘eligibility’, which was the purpose of the interview, according to the interviewer?

Do not be worried as it wasn't expressly stated that you upload it anyway. They'll use the ECA number you provided to verify your ECA with whichever body you did it with. If there are issues with verifying, you'll get an ADR to upload a scanned copy of the ECA. I know lots of people who didn't attach it and have gotten PPR.

Edit: If you still can't sleep well at night because of it, raise a CSE.

I pray say I nor fit sleep o. I am at peace. I nor even panic at all. I think I will only raise that CSE(I don’t even know the process of raising it) if there is no change on my profile in 2 months time.

you don't need to get married before you apply, the primary applicant can start now, then the other spouse would be added later (AFTER AOR OR AFTER PPR), it is allowed by IRCC. The point is START NOW

Anytime you guys give advice like this, please, also tell them they are likely going to receive an interview request to go to Accra visa office, to prove that their marriage is not an arranged one. So my advice is this: if you are sure you will get ITA as married, please tie the knot before you enter the pool.

Not really sir. Biometrics is mostly triggered after R10 (completeness check- where they check if you have uploaded all the documents you were asked to upload). Eligibility is usually done later on in the process. That's where they check if the documents you submitted justifies what you have used to claim your CRS point.

I just screenshot this now. When you click the ‘?’ on review of eligibility, the message as seen the second picture pops out.

On my express entry account, presently, these are the steps before the final decision. It shows your eligibility and the documents you used to claim you are qualified for the EE are reviewed before you get biometrics. I think what delays people are the background checks (criminality and security). I think I’ll wait for let’s say 2 months(the time by which people usually have gotten biometrics request), and if I haven’t gotten biometrics request before then, then I’ll panic.

Hi Guys. I m still all about waiting for WES, they are extremely slow these days, and its getting quite frustrating honestly. I call them literally every week especially since its well over a month they've received the verification email from my school and i keep getting the same responses - Give it time, they are evaluating. It has become so worrisome. but we wait. I will continue to hound them until i get my date of completion.

I am also writing IELTS again on the 6th, since my EOR came back unchanged (LSRW- 8.5,8,8.5, 6.5). This time i believe i m ready. Truthfully though, this exam is humbling. I used to raise shoulder because i had written Academics (which is harder by the way and scored LSRW 8.5,8,8,7.5 previously. Its amazing how things like this can bring one to ground Zero. I hope for the best. Have a good evening e-fam. #WeMove
I would love to help you. I had 7.5 in writing in what I felt deserved 8. You already seem like an intelligent person; so, coaching you should be an enjoyable job. Send me a private message if you are interested.
