It’s the Lords doing and it’s marvelous in my eyes.

Special thanks to Everyone who gave valuable advice, insight and dropped a word of hope during my long wait.
Timeline
EE Profile: February 26, 2018
ITA: July 11, 2018
AOR: August 15, 2018
MEP/BIL: September 18, 2018
Biometrics Completed: January 9, 2018
February 15, 2019 made it six months post AOR. I ran out of patience on the 5th March and raised a CSE.
ADR: March 12, 2019 Provide Payslip and Bank statement, Schedule A and Additional Family Forms
I raised another CSE on the 16th Of May, 2019
Interview Request Mail: May 23, 2019
Interview slated for10am on the 6th of June, 2019 at AVO.
So I had to fly into Accra last Thursday. Everything you could think off was flying through my mind,. But I remained still knowing God was in control. After a few unnecessary questions VO asked if I could travel between now and August when my medical expires. I responded of course. Visa granted and I was asked to come back by 2pm to collect my passport.
PPR & COPR: June 6, 2019
Visa Office: Accra
Family of 2

Congrats. But this kind of scares me. I have the same ADR. I hope they don’t request an interview for me. Do you have any clue why an interview was requested? Is it that they doubted your profession? I also claimed a professional degree. Also, I didn’t claim experience from my present work of 2 years. In addition, I didn’t give any LOE why I didn’t claim it. I hope I am safe.

1. Does your ADR say, "pay slips and/or bank statements"? If yes, then get and submit your bank statements for the 3rd. If no, then it's best to get the payslips and bank statements for all.

2. Download the Schedule A Background Declaration Form (IMM 5669E) and fill it.

3. Also download the Additional Family Information Form (IMM5645).

The links for downloading forms are not opening. The links say I need Adobe 8 reader, but I know I have Adobe Acrobat reader which should be higher than Adobe 8.

Please does anyone have any other link I can download the above forms?

Hey Johnnybravo... If you got the same adr as you on April 15 (payslips, salary bank deposits, updated POF, schedule a and add. Family.

For the payslips and bank deposits, I went back 7 months. I had the bank deposits printed by the bank only only the days deposits were made (that's 7 sheets for bank deposit statement and 7 sheets for the payslips).

Please be aware that the link given in the adr to upload the documents is not the only place you upload to. Please check your profile, under the status of your PR Application, you will notice that your "action is required". When you go into your PR Application, you will have to upload the documents individually - it also has a "required by" column showing the deadline to upload. I almost missed this, please check it out.
Thank you for this priceless information.

Please o, I just realized I have to submit all the documents for my ADR(I found out my file is in Accra) in one file through the link in the ADR message. How do I compress all my documents to one file with a maximum size of 3.5MB? My bank statements covering my 4 years of experience run into about 35 pages; my different pay slips, for the 4 years of experience, can be up to 48 slips or pages; and the schedule A form and Additional family information should take up to 8 pages. Altogether all these can get up to 80 pages. There is no way I can compress all this a 3.5MB file. Those that submitted Accra ADRs, how una take do am? Or you guys just submitted only few pages of banks statements and slips?

Please help!

Hi @johnnybravo1990, when you're submitting your ADR make use of the link provided and the placeholder in your profile. As using the link alone may not reflect that you've submitted additional documents.
Cheers

Thanks dear. I will

Sounds a lot like the handwork of AVO. In any case, PPR is close cheesy
1. Get the payslips you can get and put in LOE for the one you can't but ensure you get the bank statement for that one. Of you can, get for the full duration of work (bank statement and payslips), if it won't be possible to get all the payslips, six months is a pretty good number.
2&3. Topsmame.n has already provided this. I just want to add; ensure you access your e-Apr forms first before filling the forms. Make sure the details are an exact replica of each other.

4. Most importantly, start drafting the PPR announcement grin

Thanks sweerie. I’ll take note of all that, especially the last one. wink cheesy

I am trying to establish if you could be requested to submit Bank Statements and Payslips from an employment only mentioned under Personal History?
They won't, I should think. I had other employments I stated only in my personal history and which I knew it would be almost impossible to get a reference letter for. And my present ADRs hasn't asked for bank statements or pay slips of those employments. However, these visa officers can be unpredictable.

Seems your file landed in Accra, is it?

I have no idea where my file is. I sent a CSE some weeks ago to ascertain the progress of my application and to know which office is handling the application, but the reply didn't tell me which office is handling it. They only told me my application is in progress and that I would be contacted should they need more documents from me.

The statement reads thus: Provide Pay slips and Bank statements highlighting salary deposits for —, —, and —.

Getting payslips for the third place will be difficult o. Do I risk application rejection if I provide only bank statement(and employment letter which carries my salary) for the third place of work? Note this: the other two places which I will provide bank statements and payslips already give me 3 years of experience.

For the pay slips, can just 6 months pay slips suffice?

I just got an ADR(Additional Document Request).

1. I need to provide pay slips and bank account statement statements highlighting salary deposited of 3 places I have worked for. I know I can easily get payslips of only two of these places which are private establishments in the city where I currently live; these two places can even make up for 3 years of experience already. Should I bother trying to get the payslips for the third place which is a large federal institution, knowing I will have to travel for this, and there will be plenty bureaucracy involved along with monetary expenses that will be incurred?

For the pay slips, do I need to get for all the months I worked, or just a few, say 6months?

2. I’m seeing something like Schedule A Background Declaration form(IMM5696). Abeg how they do that one? Where do I get the forms

3. Also there is Additional Family Information Form(IMM5646). What do I do here? Where do I get the forms also?

Please your advice is needed urgently.

My PPR JOURNEY PART 2 - IELTS (a.k.a The humbler of men)

Third attempt.. 27/APRIL/2019..BC

A friend advised me to register with MOD. Stubborn me! I say na the same thing everywhere. A na-emenu!

This time, i practised only writing. I reached out to Wasseynewest and joined his group, the guy is a Saint, I must say. I learnt a lot from him.
I also reached out to Johnnybravo who was very busy with other candidates at the time. He had a session with me. He said that my writing was good to fetch me 7 at least. I said to myself "IELTS na me and you for one leg trouser". I must pass, Iwu!!

Brethren!
It came out...
LRWS.. 9,,8.5,,6.5,,8
I am still awaiting the remark ni! lipsrsealed

Congrats. As regards the bolded sentence, for anyone with faults in their writing, I wouldn’t tell them they weren’t good enough if it is very close to their exams and I don’t have time to do a proper review with them, so I don’t discourage or dishearten them. But I am glad you passed in your subsequent attempt. All the best.

What about the Indians? Are they christians? But we follow Canadavisa and benefit. What concern us with Liz or Jay's belief in God? But we visit their sites and watch their ielts videos. Yet we are quick to judge our fellow Nigerians.

You owe absolutely no one an apology or explanation for your spiritual choices. Your approach works for you and that is all that matters. Carry go. Good work that you are doing with Ielts. Keep it up.

Those trying to reach me via dm, I have replied you all. Check your spam folder. Or you may click my profile and check through my previous posts to see my contact. Anyone needing assistance for Writing, and Reading(come 16 June), should please come prepared as my coaching approach can be quite grueling; this is what some testifiers here don’t say. I and my students actually put a lot of effort into our work to make sure they improve in writing. With me, you have no choice actually than to improve, except you don’t take the coaching seriously. I will even bug you to send your essays when I don’t see your work after some time because my reputation is at stake whenever I coach someone. I usually tell my students, ‘please don’t fall my hand o’. wink
You will need to write a lot of essays during the period of coaching(maximum of one essay per day however), and the calls in which I review your work and give you tips can be as long as an hour for slow catchers. I am a hard worker, and I is intend for all my students to be likewise. All the best to IELTS candidates.

I pray for breakthrough for everyone at one stage or the other on thier journey.......

Congrats. So happy for you. The funny thing is that I can’t recall who this is, actually, although your story sounds very familiar. I could remember a student who I queried why she didn’t send me her essays only for me to learn that her child has been ill. I didn’t store your contact in my phone as Gnomics5. Please if you have the time, chat or or call me, so I can know who exactly Gnomics5 is. All the best. ‘Hard work’ pays, and I am glad to be mentioned in your success story. Welcome to Canada.

Good job bro..but you for return all glory and credit to God.

Ok bro. I’m not a religious person though. Well, all the glory to God if that makes you happy. But the philosopher in me says, ‘if we must give God all the glory/thanksgiving for every success we have, we must also give Him all the blame for all the failures where we worked so hard but still failed’. So, my conclusion is this: there are some principles governed by natural phenomena such as hard work and success with a touch of luck. We mustn’t always put the ‘God concept’ in everything. There will always be successes and failures in life, but these are not attributed to one supernatural being above. I strongly feel God plays a very neutral role to many events in our lives. Any success we have can only be tied to our hardworking efforts and luck; God does not play any deliberate or active role in these successes. If God is always involved in our affairs, there would no suffering in the world, and earth would be paradise. I am only appreciative of the fact that God created a wonderfully organised universe which is in perfect order: there are days and nights, winters and summers, living organisms having perfectly designed physiological organs and systems which is exemplified in wound healing following an injury as well as gestation which culminates in parturition. But as regards the experiences or stories in our lives, I don’t include the ‘God factor’ as explanation of these events; the only causal factors I could attribute to our life stories are hard work and luck. Also, I don’t believe in spirituality.

I hope my personal beliefs don’t discourage people from seeking assistance from me in IELTS; you may not not like my approach to life, but I will advise you to get what you want from me and move on. wink

I would be the most ungrateful being if I didn't share my story here. This is not PPR (at least not yet), but I just conquered IELTS on the 10th attempt, still awaiting result of the 11th and a remark of my 9th. First of all, my ultimate gratitude goes to God Almighty for giving me the resilience to fight though these trying times.

My first IELTS test was April 21 2018, and I wrote back to back on a monthly basis until 23rd May 2019 (the game changer). Months I didn't write, I was hoping for a positive EOR, none ever came back changed. Allow me to state that, the 6.5 in writing was my major hurdle. I have sought help tirelessly on this thread but it was the same story. I eventually stopped practicing for other components again because I knew all the questions and answers in my head already, I mean, after studying almost every day of your life for over 12 months, there was nothing new to learn.

To be brief, my last resort was to contact @JohnnyBravo just 3 days to the test of 23rd May. I ensured I unlearned everything I had learnt about writing and strictly followed his teachings. I'm sincerely grateful to you for your attention and professionalism, God bless you endlessly. For all who are still stuck with writing, please let him guide you. Thank you again bro.

In conclusion, (sorry o but after taking the writing test for over 12 months, my writing has been structured into 4 BPs) while it is not easy, I'd like to encourage anyone struggling with any aspect of this journey not to give up. There's joy in knowing you eventually conquered. I'm positioned for an ITA in the coming draws and may The Good Lord make the rest of the journey smooth for us. Amen.

This is wonderful. I’m so excited. Yea, we did it! This is also my victory. Getting a 7.0 with a 3-day coaching, let’s now wait for the last exam for which I coached you for a week. You may even get a 7.5. Congrats once again. I’m here to liberate people from the shackles of IELTS writing, wink and it feels good achieving that.

I’m glad for the bolded statement in your comment. Anyone coming to me, please format your brain as regards IELTS writing. I once had a student who was constantly arguing with me in our reviews, and he was always making the errors I told him not to make. Anyway, he left, but I pray he gets his desired writing score wherever he decided to seek help from.

So, Daybour1, have a lovely day. Celebrate! This is a huge feat. With the CRS score you told me you now stand at, I know you will get an ITA in the next draw or in 2 further draws. You are already in Canada as far as I am concerned. Now, unto my next candidate for a breakthrough testimony here.

Pls my friend is in a dilemma, she applied to Manitoba, her cousin is her sponsor they called her sponsor 2weks ago from ircc he didn't pick up but they later called my friend to send all convincing document to be sure if truly they are blood related, after she sent all the document including throwback pictures of them together, they now called the sponsor again yesterday he didn't pick, the vo called my friend again yesterday that to ask why her sponsor was refusing to pick his phone and his email bounced back too that they don't usually call applicant, now the vo told my friend to give her sponsor his phone number to call him. The problem now is that my friend's cousin has refused to talk to her since yesterday it seems he is not willing to help her further. Pls in the event that he is not willing to call them to confirm their ties what will happen to my friend? It seems his mind has been poisoned by someone he wants to back out from helping her and they are very close that he released all his info at the beginning. Pls help find a solution. Thanks

To me o, the thing don cast na. The so-called sponsor has backed out. What solution are you looking for? Your friend should only pray not to be banned for misrepresentation; your friend should just try to prove to IRCC that the cousin was really the sponsor but that the sponsor seems not to be ready to further his sponsorship, the reason of which you cannot tell. Next time, one really has to be sure who they are using to claim sponsorship or sibling relationship, because it is surprising why a so-called sponsor will want to put someone in trouble.

I have a couple of question for seniors in the house. I got an update, and in my application status, Background Check changed from ‘We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information’, to ‘Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check’. This looks like my application process is going backward instead of progressing.

1. Should I be worried? AOR was in March; I passed medical exam on 3rd March and completed biometrics on 6th March 2019.

2. What stage of application am I—Ip1 or Ip2?

Current application status is as seen below.
