Good morning House,

Can anyone recommend a good tutor for IELTS writing for me, preferably someone on the island (Lekki/Ajah) axis for a one on one session at a fair rate. Preparing for a second attempt.

First attempt LRWS: 9, 6.5, 6.5, 7.5

Thanks.
I coach for Writing and will give you some tips for Reading, but I charge a fee. You don’t necessarily need one to be present physically to coach you. An online tutoring should suffice.

How true is this man
The article describes the man as the leader of the 'recently formed' People's Party of Canada. It's just a new party, I believe, whose leader is making some noise. However, the article is not dated for us to know how recent the publication is and for us to establish how new the party is. But I believe there should be no cause for alarm. Canadians are not like US citizens I suppose; Canadians do not seek elect to another Trump in their country. If anything, I think a majority of Canadians detest Trump and his methods. But, like I always say, life is very unpredictable. Something abrupt, not necessarily from this man's making, may happen to Canadian immigration programmes. So make hay while the sun shines.

Hello family. This is my first time of posting and I'll appreciate responses.
My original DOB is Dec 16 1991. On my WAEC, it's 1990.
On my degree transcript, I have 1991

I just did my ECA with WES and in the report, WES gave my date of birth as 1991 but put a note that WAEC gave date of birth as 1990.
What do I do please? Will this affect me?
I don’t think so. I believe where it would have affected you would have been ECA with WES, but you are beyond that stage now. I don’t think you would submit any WAEC certificate for anything anymore. If I may ask, did you submit your WAEC during your WES? If you did, how come ECA was issued even when you had age discrepancies in your WAEC and degree transcript?

@Topsmamen, @ladymarshal and other gurus...

We got a ADR requesting bank statements and payslips for the past one year. We used the webform link in the request letter to upload it. We later got a mail today that we should rather upload on our online accout with cic. We seem not to be able to find any place-holder on the accout where we can upload. Pls, can anyone help us to find our way round it.
I think their system has a bug or something. The placeholders appears sometimes and disappears at other times. So whenever it appears, quickly upload it. I had the same experience with yours. All the best.

Sure. Return courier delivery costs 10,120 naira. See the link below:

https://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/nigeria/Service_and_Service_Charge.html
So I suppose one can pay at the counter there at the Vfs office.

*Thanks

Hey guys. Long time. Still awaiting PPR but I want to ask. When someone gets PPR and he is to go to the vfs office for submission, can he pay or arrange for the passport (after being stamped) to be couriered back to him instead of going to the VFs office again to collect the passport?

This young man is not serious. You carry 6ft3’ height go interview, and you expected them not ask you how tall you are? grin Just kidding, but now we know how that question came about. It was not a trick question. Most people don’t walk around with that height; it’s very probable that they were just intrigued by your height. You did well in your reply.

I feel this is wrong. Inasmuch as you have a good heart to help the requester, you should have pmed Mr afolabi's number to him/her privately. This is a public forum.
And you also quoted his number; in so doing, you have replicated his number too.

I never believed in my life that I will attempt an English exam more than once because I was an English guru then in high school until I met this entity called IELTS‍♂. First attempt- I didn't prepare much just memorized structures for writing from ieltsadvantage, did one or two reading test; had great scores, did one speaking with a friend(she finished me that night) and practiced listening a lot because it was interesting.

I need to reserve ink for PPR script (pen dropped grin
Congrats bro. I’m happy for you. Hard work pays. It was a mystery to me when you said you had a 6 in writing—after all the reviews?

I used to think BC was very legit. Mehn, from some of my students‘ experiences, it seems BC is a scam. I wish you the best bro.

No. He can add more posts calling for coup d'état in Canada or impeachment of Trudeau. It’s all about freedom of expression. grin

I’m March also. You don’t need a WhatsApp group; I don’t belong to any. Everybody’s application is unique. Don’t give yourself unnecessary palpitations. If you are so worried, send a CSE, call IRCC, order GCMS, or go to myimmitracker.com to see other people’s progress. But you should have known it would always be like this. Just chill.

Good afternoon all, I know this question has been asked many times before, but different people seem to have varying opinions. Please I will appreciate if someone can explain this to me. Are we required to scan the bio pages and stamped pages of new and old passports or only new passport. This attachment has got me confused.

guru's please "EPP" a family
Please scan only your present passport. So I did. I didn’t get any ADR asking me to send pages of old passports. As far as I am concerned, a ‘valid travel document which you will use to travel’ is a passport which has not expired.

Did you send a mail requesting for the pay slip? If yes you can present same with the refusal as evidence to CIC that u were not given or if you can persuade them to give u salary certificate.
Na wah o. People nor give me pay slip, na how dem wan take give me salary certificate? Thanks, all the same.

Oakville19:

I sincerely doubt this can be a basis for rejection as long as your bank statements shows clearly that the deposits were tied to the employment. A letter of explanation as you have stated above and maybe evidence of their refusal to provide pay slips (If any) should suffice.
No evidence of refusal o. They told me with word of mouth.

Advice!

For my ADR, two out of three previous employers have refused to give me pay slips. They said they don’t give. What do you think will be a satisfactory LOE? Can I just say, ‘when I worked in - - -, I wasn’t given pay slips, and present attempts to get pay slips were futile as pay slips were said to be unavailable’? I have all my bank statements ADR for all 3 employers. Can my application be rejected for this?

Hello guys. Please can I use a dollar account or money market as my proof of fund? It will be in my name but the money is in dollars.
Sure you can. I used only dollar account. But I got an ADR asking me to show my statement of account highlighting salary deposits which was of course in naira(I didn’t attach pay slips initially anyway). So, you should show something to corroborate your work experience if your salary is naira. Therefore if you choose to use only a dollar account for POF, please go ahead. However, I think you should attach pay slips and/or your naira account statements showing your salary for those years of experience you claimed(add this to documents for work experience—not documents for POF please. This will avoid unnecessary ADRs and lengthier processing time.

Hello House,

please i have a friend who has evaluated credentials and gotten other requires documents, but the problem is with her IELTS.

She has written 4 times and the particular issue is with writing, she just got 6 in writing while the LRS is 8,8,7.5. Now i understand the unprofessionalism of BC.
if she gets 7 in writing her CRS will stand at 462 which is super great.
Frustration is almost killing her and she has given up on retaking the IELTS due to funds and the stress of the job.
please what else can she explore at this point cz shes tired. Is PNP possible?... her degree is in banking and she has accounting experience.

someone please help here.
I think Johnnybravo can help. wink It is not a 100 percent guarantee, but she stands a pretty good chance with him if she takes his coaching seriously. Tell her not to lose hope. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Here is to share my IELTS testimony and thank some of the special people who assisted me...
The June 1st MOD test was my eight attempt, having done four PBT and three CBT with BC. My issue was always writing which never changed from 6.5 all through.
I contacted @wasseynest, @fidelism and @johnnybravo to assist in writing..... These are all excellent people and I am indebted to them all. I was able to merge all their teachings with the grace of God to get the following scores L8, R9, W7.5, S8
Sitting on 453 now and praying for scores to reduce...

Congrats bro. I’m glad it paid off. You were on my priority list. I’m so glad to strike you off the list. All the best.
