He ran into the House, Just to see everything in Mess, He could see Traces of Blood everywhere, Instantly He Knew what Happen, His Father is In town!
Then He remembered His Siblings, He Shouted their Name But nobody Answered, Getting to His Bedroom, He saw a note on His Bed, He was surprised But He nevertheless Took it and Openad it, It read Thus:

Unknown to anybody, not even His siblings, Lucas Has Started Creating an Army Of Vampired, He Bought the House, so that They could Be doing their Meeting in the House.
He Put the Stranger body on the Bed, He look at The stranger, He felt The familiar Face, But couldnt decipher where He Knew the Man.
Suddenly His phone rang, Looking at the screen, It was an Unsaved Number, he contemplated for a while Before answering it.

STORY TITLE: JINXED

I had just gained admission into the University of Nigeria, Nssukka and
was being faced with a great task of who would cater for me throughout
my stay in school. My father was no more and my old mother was barely
strong enough to move around the house, let alone working and catering
for us. We had been living from hand to mouth since we lost papa to
kidney failure due to his excessive drinking habits.

I used to help deliver goods from big traders in the big markets to
peti-traders and small shop owners to get some little money to feed
myself and mama. It was on one of such trips that i had met Emeka. I
had some bags of rice and some other food stuffs to deliver to his
shop where he sold food stuffs. He had noticed my dull countenance and
asked if I was okay. He seemed like a nice guy, so I willingly poured
out my heart to him telling him in details what was wrong with me. He
said I should see him the next day that he might be able to help.
I was so happy, even though he hadn't come out straight that he was
going to sponsor me but I knew he would. He looked quite rich. His
shop was quite big and he made good sales daily. I went to see him the
next day and he made a proposal to take care of my tutor and every
other expenses throughout my schooling on a condition that I'd marry
him after schooling. I accepted his proposal with joy. I didn't like
him much due to his deep Igbo intonation and he wasn't educated.

But that didn't matter much to me, what mattered the most is I had
someone who was going to sponsor me through my university education.
The next day, he did something which I didn't think was necessary, he
gave me a written document to sign in the presence of a man whom I
perceived to be his lawyer. The document was all about our agreement.


We were going well till I met Emmanuel in my 300 level. Emmanuel was
cute, had the most charming smile and knew how to call my name
'Stephanie' correctly. It didn't take me too long to fall for him. We
started dating and I had forgotten about Emeka. He was a final year
student of Economics. I still kept in touch with Emeka though, for my
school fees and whenever I needed money for one thing or the other.
When I was done schooling, Emmanuel asked me to marry him and I was
very quick to say yes even though I knew the agreement I had with
Emeka. I explained to Emeka that I wasn't interested in the deal we
had anymore and surprisingly, he agreed that I could marry whoever I
wanted on a condition that I will refund all the money he had spent on
me which we approximated to be a little above a quarter of a million
Naira. Emmanuel settled him as soon as I mentioned it to him and we
got married.

It was all rosy the first three or four years of our marriage and we
were blessed with two cute babies. After some years, Emmanuel lost his
job with the insurance company and things had taken a new turn as it
was quite as we could barely afford to have three meals each day.

One day, Emmanuel came home very happily jumping all around the house
testifying that he had found a job of N80,000 pay. Though
incomparable to what he was receiving at the insurance company, it was
better than having no job at all. He said the job was a teaching job
and that he was to teach a chief who wasn't learned but needed to run
for a political post in his local government and needed to be educated
before he could run for the post. It was a good job to me. He also
said his client was coming over to the house that day to start the
lesson, as they would be using our house for the lesson.
At about six, we heard a knock on the door. I was in the room when the
knock sounded but Emmanuel got the door.
"Honey!!! My client I was telling you about is here for the lesson...
come and say hi to him" I heard Emmanuel say from the sitting room. I
quickly dressed up and went hurriedly downstairs to see this so much
talked about client. I had not seen his face yet when I heard
Emmanuel say "baby, meet chief Emeka Anayo". Immediately I looked at
his face, it was Emeka. Yes, the same Emeka, only that he had added
chief title to his name. I couldn't bear the shock, I fainted!
