The average rent for most immigrants is not 2500. In Nigeria not everyone can afford to stay at Magodo or Lekki. There are cheaper options like shared room, studio , basement or outskirts of town. After all not everyone stayed in Lekki while in Nigeria.


With 300 dollars one can survive on groceries from Walmart, Aldi and the likes. Any one who has stayed abroad knows many of the figures quoted there are false.
Bus pass in a city like new york is 132 dols a month, a personal car with car notes does not even cost 1k a month, i drive a 2022 Camry which is serviced every 6 months. I had the option of buying a 2012 to 2015 model so i cant complain . Many of the people abroad want to drive latest bmw/ benz they cant afford. Most immigrants wont do that.

On Qatar Airways, food no be problem. Had brunch, snacks in between and then lunch.

She just got a mail saying that all the mandatory visa documents checklist submitted are not verifiable and unreliable ( this includes yellow fever card, proof of AXA Mansard insurance cover certificate, covid-19 vaccination certificate, Academic transcripts, proof of funds from 2 banks, police clearance certificate and medical certificate of fitness) and that she should submit the reliable ones and then specifically, she should send a month POF bank statement.

Please what's going on? I don't know what they mean by documents unverifiable and unreliable. Any idea on what to do please?

How many days is funds supposed to stay in her accounts for proof before she print it and send to her employer? Can the money be sent to her account while she just prints it immediately and send to them or it has a required number of days? She has been asked to send some documents so that her COE will be processed as soon as possible. They are asking for proof of 600k YEN Please I need responses. God bless you all.
