If you sell domain in epik, just leave some funds in your masterbuck account. This way you can buy domains without facing the exorbitant bank exchange rates.

Or

Use PayPal to receive payment, then use the rest for domain purchase on registrars that accept PayPal.

I always leave some cash in my masterbuck account but I mistakenly bought a domain using my card that was saved on epik. I forgot to change it to masterbuck.

UBA charged me #437 per $ serious it pained me.

In the past 7 months I noticed a kind of ommision pattern trend on one word English domain.

Names that follow the omitted "E" pattern

Like

Flicker............................ Flickr.com

Better.............................. Bettr.com

Power...............................powr.com
And lot lot more

I started searching for these pattern with one other one for like 4 months now. I couldn't get any for reg fee so I quit searching .

Few days back I noticed

Powrful.com sold at SH take note of the "E" omission then I checked again and I saw Unbreakr.com listed on SH.. so it kind of rekindle my fire to search for that pattern once more.

Finally I tried Slaughter.............. And got slaughtr/com ( there is placed called Slaughter in PH and that was the prime idea before I tried it..

What did I do differently?

My subject carried a question mark I.e Nigerian caterer? Caterer in Nigeria?

Salutation was Hey Username or Hi Username.


Body of mail was straight to the point: Are you interested in getting/owning/having/purchasing/etc nairaland.com for your business?.. (paraphrased)

Closing included a link to my twitter page

That is the major uphill, coming up with decent domain is one thing, selling is another thing.

No matter how attractive or decent the domain is, if its not appealing to the end users, its nothing. More sales to us bro.

Those who understand this biz inside out know that it is simple to generate handreg names if you know how. Just because you don't know how things work does not mean you should reject it or write it off.
