How will Russia pay for what it doesn't produce? Is rubble part of world's reserved currency? because you have to peg your foreign reserve/currency against another currency, that's economics.

Will the Europeans and Americans get the rubble for free? They will be parting with their Dollars or Euro to buy the Rubble. And who will have the dollars they part with? Same Russia so your logic doesn't add up.

I have said it, Putin will take whatever looks like victory and quickly exit Ukraine. It is obvious that the US goaded Russia to make tis stupid mistake and US and allies are looking to continue making a kill from Russia's misery.

The plan is simple : weaken Russia economically, then millitarily and then bring Russia on its knees such that it will never ever think of invading another country again.

If this conflict lasts for too long, Russia's economy will take a tumble, US will sponsor the insurgents in Belarus to distract Putin and then look to sponsor insurgency in Russia itself, Putin will be distracted, he will be fighting on too many fronts and will keep becoming more paranoid with his closest confidants, it will take a long time but after Putin Russia would have become almost a basket case economically, whoever replaces Putin will never have the time to think of an invasion, he will be too busy clearing the mess that Putin left behind and of course many other neighbouring countries will join NATO.

The problem of Nigeria has nothing to do with government ownership of corporations. It's simply because of bad governance, vested interests. Most of the facilities we're enjoying today was built by the military that had firm control of means of production. See how long it has taken civilian government to build 2nd Niger bridge, 4th mainland bridge etc

Russia never agreed boldly that if Ukraine do this they would attack. There was still negotiations going on since last year. Putin promised the world that he won't attack Ukraine that there was no reason to, that his military were only carry out routine drills.


NATO this and that, Ukraine haven't joined NATO and its not as if NATO would have accepted Ukraine that wanted to join with a huge military burden. And joining NATO doesn't even take months, it takes some countries years to fully comply with the requirements just like joining European Union.



And if Putin had a justifiable reason to invade Ukraine why is he telling Russians in Russia lies that he only went there to help Ukraine defeat Fascists and Neo Nazi militants? Why cant he be bold enough like every other country to show Russians the wonderful work Russian military is doing in Ukraine? Why is he blocking news channels and free media from showing live video streaming of the invasion of Ukraine to Russian citizens in Russia?
