kaze4blues: My Honda 2006 stopped blowing cold air. The fan still works tho.
What could be wrong? Check if the compressor still picks or not(wire issues) If it's still working then something is wrong as the AC doesn't just stop working like that Maybe there is a leak or most likely a faulty component |

kingreign: Remote diagnosis unavailable.
Recommendation: visit a competent workshop to have it carefully and properly checked. Changed all the bushions at the back very expensive but since then tho I've not had chance to really do the overspeed kind of but with the few city speeds I've done he never swerve |

kingreign: Your SUV has multilink rear suspension setup. They contain various control arms and bushings which may become worn out over time. It is noted that the PILOT 1st generation models have a rear wheel negative camber setup, but when your shocks or one or more bushings go bad, or even when you have fully loaded that suv, it 'gives' that rear squat stance.
NOTE: that slight negative camber setup in Honda pilot is meant for stability on speeds. On normal stand still my rear Tyres stand well like straight they r not really bent But still when I can't speed with the vehicle coz of the way it swerves ND few mechanic I've met v not been able to give me reasonable reason One even said I ßud bring #25,000 but couldn't say what he wanted to do or repair he just said I sud pay him 25k Lolz that he will fix it

Okay on another note I have a pending issue with my Honda pilot 2003 The Rear swerves or lemme say dances at intervals on speed If u enter 80-100km the more it just swerves the rear at intervals especially if the highway road isn't balance But everything including the CHASIS looks fine Please what could be WRONG O....I NEED HELP I HAVE CHANGED THE FOUR SWAY BAR LINKS but No Difference I think it even got worse after that spending sef that has not been solved due to lack of technical know how ND I don't want to just spend without knowing what's wrong |

nurey: Sway bar
bad shocks
loosened suspension bolt
bent chassis
etc So how do one knows if it is a bad shocks, I know I do hear some little bumpy not yet loud sound sometimes from the back when I'm slowing down or so I've changed the four sway bars and Tyres and still getting good sway from the back of the Honda pilot on highways ... The current shocks still looks nice former owner seemed to changed them just last year or so (the four I guess) Cc Gazzuz Nurey |

nas00: Sir, I advised you to inspect the sway bar links and replace IF bad. I see now that I took it for granted that you knew how to inspect sway bar links. The truth is that except you order OEM new parts for your car, the 'new' parts in our market often don't work as intended. In my experience, they tend to be worse than worn out OEM parts that came with the car. Buying 'tokunbo' replacement parts helps in many cases (but not all cases).
If you have not discarded the previous sway bar links, better re-install them.
Back to your question, a torn upper or lower control arm bushing can cause your car to veer towards one side.
Lesson: Before you replace any car part, you must have proved beyond doubt that it has gone bad and needs replacement. Chai money burnt a lil and lesson learnt after installing the fourth sway bar link at the back then the mechanic now discovered there was issues with the left side upper control arm bushing |

nas00: Sir, why are you speeding on a rough road?
You are breaking rule number 1 of Honda use in our environment... (Rule 1= Thou shall always drive patiently on rough roads; speed all you want on smooth roads).
To your question, your symptom is likely due to bad sway bar links. Check them out. Will need replacement if bad. Chai I changed the 4 away bar links and it seemed the problem worsened o But discovered the one of the Busshion on the left upper arm at the back as clearance But could one Busshion be causing such noticable drifts ? |

GAZZUZZ: a simple scan will reveal, but I would wager a transmission temp issue or a slip.
Okay when I get back I'll make sure I take it for a scan took great courage to keep pressing seeing the Drive blinking |
Car Talk › Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by Johnsonkeyz2019: 7:53pm On Jul 17, 2020 |
nurey: blinking D-light has to do with transmission fault. first step is to check the ATF whether it is guaged and color if clean or burnt.
You can then drain and refill the transmission if problem continues scan the vehicle to retrieve codes I've checked the oil it gauged but I can't tell about the color it's kinda brown or so I may snap and send it here tomorrow morning I travelled with it will need to get back to be able to take it for scan |

What is making my Honda pilot 2003 blink the "Drive" light on the dashboard while I'm driving mostly while traveling
If I use it in city most it doesn't blink But once it's good express like travelling ND I keep going for long then it starts blinking that D light on the dash board
It do reset if I off it at checkpoints for some minutes ND drive again but comes up after moving for some few miles again?
What could be the cause The Engine and Gear was changed last year around this time |
