I changed my engine oil to 5w20 yesterday and today the Vehicle is smoking kind of and also the ENGINE OIL LIGHT ON DASHBOARD HAS BEEN BLINKING WHAT COULD BE THE CAUSE

I used total quartz 5000 before and it neither smoked nor had Engine light blinking

5W20 yes, synthetic, not necessary but advised given the car's age.

Some persons are confusing me by saying

5w20 goes for better engine performance

5w30 goes for engine performance so how true is this and which is the best option so I can drain the total quartz 5000 and refill with the Best option given by you the Professionals on this humble group

Is there anyone familiar with prices of Number Protector guard for suv around here ? That can help with prices and locations to get

So can I change from total quartz 5000 oil to a semi synthetic 5w-30 for a V6 engine

As it is he has options based on the answers to the questions I raised

The current oil I'm using in it is total quartz 5000 and I think that's wrong coz I do use 5w20 on my former Honda Accord 2006 i4 before I switched to pilot coz of Bad roads that made me need Heights

So I want to know which is better to switch to 5w20 or 5w30? FOR MY HONDA PILOT 03 ...In this scenario and maybe what to expect from whichever I choose

5w20 - better fuel economy
5w30 - better engine protection

I'd choose engine protection over fuel economy any day.

If 5w30 will consume more fuel but protect my engine better then I'm standing with 5w30 God will keep providing fuel money that's cheaper than having to buy a new Engine soon �

So I'm free to change from total quartz 5000 to 5w30 synthetic

Good day House please can a bad silencer I mean that long one in the middle reduce the efficiency of a vehicles movement like engine is cool but just noticed of recent that the vehicle doesn't respond very fast like it does before except I press the pedal more

To avoid buying an abused unit, what criteria/conditions should I look out for?

I think I use to have a list of things to always check that I did when I got my first Honda Accord 2006 and trust me it was one of the best car I ever used before selling to go for an SUV nd even the buyer that got mine sent me a message of appreciation concerning how I maintained it

Why is the belt of my Car making a hell of noise and sometime it doesn't do so

Sometimes it comes up when I put on the air conditioner and sometimes it is when I put on the air condition that other belt sound goes off

What can be causing that ?

On the npf website, it states that they only issue permit on factory tinted cars. Mine is not factory fitted, should I apply from the website? Will they approve?

U may just need to meet an officer or the person who does ur Vehicle document will have handy information on what to do also
