DoctorAlien: You won't be punished in hell because two people ate an apple.
You'll be punished because you lived your life in rebellion to GOD, rejecting His salvation. I don't understand this - So you offer someone a kind of salvation and then threaten to torture them if they reject it? That's blackmail not salvation. |

Pidggin: Are you okay? The trinity consist of three persons in one just like you have a body, soul and spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God. You cannot understand this truth with your canal mind. Please don't get frustrated, we are just gisting .. lol. You are exactly the person that said this few minutes ago Pidggin: The Holy Spirit is the person who speaks directly to man. He is a gentle spirit. He was sent to comfort, counsel, guide and sanctify man thus He cannot communicate in a thunderous voice as God does because humans will be scared which literally means God and holy spirit communicates in two different tones and ways. You said this not me - Are you already trying to distance yourself from your own assertions? Yes, man was made in the image and likeness of God. He is a person, an eternal being, the existence. He is more than a man. He is the I AM. Man is mortal God is not, how then can I define Him as just a man This is not the answer to my question - my question was So since God can communicate in a male voice - is it a male?remember when you said this? Pidggin: God doesn't communicate in a feminine voice because He is not female. Gender is an earthly identity and Pidggin: OP, are you a believer? God has a gentle male voice. You can only hear and recognize Him if you believe So this begs the question " since you think God can't speak in a female voice cus it's not female and also think God speaks in a male voice - does this mean God is male?" |

analice107: Jon. When God decided or dwell amongst Humans, he took the form of a man. If he wants to speak to humans, he will take the voice of humans. Ok which means God can also have a feminine voice when talking to humans - this literally means the voice you heard is just 'A comouflage' of God's voice, wasn't it's actual voice - Yes? |

Pidggin: The Holy Spirit is the person who speaks directly to man. He is a gentle spirit. He was sent to comfort, counsel, guide and sanctify man thus He cannot communicate in a thunderous voice as God does because humans will be scared
The bible says He doesn't make us scared nor cause us to be afraid Ok now it is the Holy spirit that talks in a gentle voice and not god, this directly contradicts your post which i'll quote below... Thus that voids your previous post automatically God doesn't communicate in a feminine voice because He is not female. Gender is an earthly identity But he communicates in a male voice as Analice suggested- Is God male? You said Pidggin: Thus says the Lord "I am the good Shepherd, my Sheep hear my voice, I know them and they know me" Jn 10:27
OP, are you a believer? God has a gentle male voice. You can only hear and recognize Him if you believe So since God can communicate in a male voice - is it a male? Don't forget as you said Gender is an earthly identity!!! |

OP, are you a believer? God has a gentle male voice. You can only hear and recognize Him if you believe The bible disagrees with you though Job 37:2 "Listen closely to the thunder of His voice, And the rumbling that goes out from His mouth. 2samuel 22:14 The Lord thundered from heaven. The Most High made his voice heard. Jeremiah 10:13 When He utters His voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, Job 40:9 "Or do you have an arm like God, And can you thunder with a voice like His? That is not a gentle male voice but what do i know |

plaetton: Yes. But more out of confusion that conviction.
People who mistake atheism for another religion or philosophy that guarantees them answers or something else, would surely be disappointed, because it promises and promotes no such thing.
Atheism is not a quick escape. It is usually a gradual realization and eventual ACCEPTANCE.
Once you get up and start walking, get used to walking, it's hard to convince you back to crawling. I agree - People often mistake atheism for a philosophy or doctrine purely out of ignorance.. |

analice107: Very gentle and soothing. He is not harsh or hard.
Once, I was asking him for something, He told me what to do, something different from what i asked. What he said i shd do was kinda hard for me, so i didn't do it at first. I kept asking for what i wanted, One day, he spoke and said, If you don't do the first, the door for what you asking for wont open. With immediate effect, i obeyed and what i wanted happened.
So, Yes he speaks clearly. You only hear him if you spiritually sensitive. No No this isn't what i asked, my question is how God sounds - baritone or feminine.? |

"God" is a noun which can be used by any religion, it is not an exclusive name of any deity at all. Why would anybody get offended because someone used a word, that is starkly nonsensical. |

neduboy17: I know it sounds strange but i have been thinking of it recently, lets say a woman wants to get an abortion, couldn't God audibly tell her that it is sinful and not to get it done? I get that free will is why we are able to... but surely it wouldn't be taking away free will for God to simply say not to do something. One could still choose to reject God's command. What do you think?
Source: http://www.changeasoul.org/index.php?topic=259.0 I'm sure that will be more effective - if God don't want this person to have sex why not go ahead and tell them, if God needs worship why not go ahead and tell people audibly and demand it, if God wants someone dead why not go ahead and do the killing himself/herself. Why must God always require humans to carry out these tasks. It's a remarkable thing - All religions, occultic sects all claim to possess the breathed words of God but let just be honest with ourselves, it's has always been humans doing the talking and writings. |

Lennycool: The picture below is an excellent optical illusion. Some will be able to tell what's odd about it in seconds, others will take a lot longer and some will never see the true image. But once you do see the real image you can NEVER unsee it. I myself have often tried to imagine the concept of heaven, hell and God, like I normally did when I was still a Christian. But like many other atheist I've found it impossible to accept the concept of a God and afterlife as reality. Religion is much like the illusion, once you see through the façade, you can never unsee it. The website below helped me see through the illusion of religion. I disagree with the bolded, someone can go back to being religious even after atheism besides there are also very many non-theistic religions. Abrahamism is not the totality what religion is, it's just a fraction of it. |

As a matter of fact, a very great number of Pastors, priest are actually atheists - i sometimes suspect Pope Francis is too but i dont know. In the neatherlands alone 1 out of every priest/pastor is an atheist. so there actually might be great number of such 'Faithless' pastors in Nigeria who are just there because the con pays well. No wonder Pope Leo X said "I and my predecessors We know what a great profit it has been for us, this fable of Christ. |

Why? Because the Flying Spaghetti Monster is the One True God,
Yahweh heaven is horrible, just people singing, what stops him hiring or creating a band if he's so interested in our singing to him?
The Muslim heaven promises 72 virgins, but what do I do with so many virgins? Having sex with inexperienced girls is not the best
The Flying Spaghetti Monster however promised me a beer volcano and a stripper factory (or prostitute factory) after my death as a reward for accepting him into my life, beer, prostitutes and strippers beats virgins and choir people any day of the week This is really unnecessary |

malvisguy212: The sacrifice of a righteous man is like a smell of a sweet aroma. Righteous man ( not unrighteous man) The importance of a sacrifice’s aroma is not the smell but what the smell represents the substitutionary atonement for sin. God was pleased with the sacrifice and then gave the promise to never again destroy every living creature with a flood.
In fact, the bible also say the smell of a burnt sacrifice is pleasing to the idols even thought it displeased God: Ezekiel 6:13 13 And you shall know that I am the Lord, when their slain lie among their idols around their altars, on every high hill, ron all the mountaintops, under every green tree, and under every leafy oak, wherever they offered pleasing aroma to all THEIR IDOLS.
Ephesians 5:2 2 And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a FRAGRANT OFFRING and sacrifice to God. And the bolded is even grosser - it seems Yahweh has a severe lust for bloody sacrifices even to the extent of using a human [Jesus]…… Thanks for bringing more abhorable verses. |
