This is where we find ourselves Some roadside and online hallelujah and hossana singing folks will still look for a way to justify the actions of those sub humans, anything to defend your slave master is a welcome idea to them. Nigeria is exhausting |

NuCypher: Nigerian is on an irreparable course to self-destruct based on the current actions of its political class. Evidence of that has already started showing in the short term. In the long term, the result is eventual economic and political tsunamis with no parallel. I read Kperogi article with keen interest and I discover it's an open secret that our own brand of politics as practiced by the sub humans voted in by the masses or appointed by those elected still remain an eyesore. Imagine the times we are in and the excuse the bunch of idiots we have sitted in the green and red chamber makes the common man on the street cringes. Anyway, they know that there's little we can do since we are not even accountable to ourselves. Until we start demanding that this average beings do what is expected of them I'm afraid we keep on playing the game of musical chairs every four years. |

I'm glad the word 'chances' was in the picture at least that's to tell us that we run a system that's largely based and built on luck, vibes and burukutu.
Maybe we need to start holding each other accountable and not wait for chances, probabilties and variables that will pull gravity south. |

9jaBloke: The comment below is needless. Wole Soyinka is one of the greatest literary icons in the world and last time I checked, he is still the only Nigerian with the Nobel prize in Literature. Rare feat!
Achebe & Soyinka were founding members of Ulli Bier's Mbari Club, together with J.P Clark, Chris Okigbo, Demas, Mabel and Pa Bruce Onobrakpeya and they all maintained maximum respect for one another.
It's sad to see this generation of youngsters, most of who do not know literary s**t from chocolate denigrate their legacy.
