These were all wonderful soap opera and TV programs that made my childhood.
Those days that television stations closes by 11:00pm and 11:00am.
More importantly, I remember how we always anticipated to get home after school closes by 3:30pm to go watch at 4:30pm cartoons like Voltron, biker mice etc
Cadbury breakfast television (every Saturday) was the bomb, because i know fully well that mumsi won't trouble me to watch it from 8:00am to 10:00am (because it's Saturday)
Nite shift (on DBN television).
Childhood is the best because you no even get any responsibility, na only to eat, read your book, play with siblings for house, sleep and chop food. Children no know wetin dem dey enjoy until dem become adults.

Hope say you don get 10 children like me?😹😭

I agree BAT will be more political than technocratic ....but that mix is what makes him the most suitable for the season.

Veteran journalist , Jimi Disu popularly known as Uncle Jimi has criticized Bola Tinubu stressing that he lack the capacity and mindset for good leadership.

Disu made this statement in an interview programme

“I always thank God that he gave us Fashola for 8 years. Politically people attribute all these things, that Tinubu did this or that is because the Fashola years has covered up for those bad 8 years prior to when Tinubu couldn’t control the disposition of refuse.

People have very short memories. Tinubu when he became governor, he was able to get people to give him. There was a lot of enthusiasm, people like Pat Uromi, where more than ready to throw all kinds of documents at him to work with but he spent most of his time politicking.

“And I don’t think intellectually he has what it takes and the presence of mind to sit down and govern. I don’t think he has it.

Fashola has been the most fantastic guys that has been in this governance. He doesn’t quiver, he doesn’t waver. I don’t believe he panders towards anybody liking him or not. He just gets the job done and gets it done quite right and so I think we give him a lot of credit.

” I’ve heard people say that I hate the president. I don’t hate him. Why will I hate him. Sometimes I admire him for getting away with the things that he does. I wish I could but I’m not somebody like that.

I am always on the straight and narrow. But what I want to talk about is capability. I don’t want to sound nasty or anything but who would ever take over a whole country and the minute he signs, he makes a policy statement.

“Nobody well trained does that. I am from the Unilever School of Management. I worked with Unilever Brothers for short time but within that short time I know to get things properly done.

“Who do you think would? And that for me is a character flaw. On the first day you sign that subsidy is over. Even if you have done your homework, what about the optics.

“And before the election I have said in definite terms that this man does not have the capability and does not have the mindset.

“That phrase “emilakan” for me is a baby mindset for somebody who wants to lead a country not to talk of the fact that we heard it on video where he said, grab it, whatever and run away with it. Those are not the morals I grew up on

“When I look at all these mindset I say to myself, this is not the kind of person that should be leading our country. See where it has gotten us.”
