I think Nigeria should be doing more in the football aspect with the talents they've got presently.

Although, I always believe if the midfield is technical sound and can constantly link up the defence with the attack, half of the problem of a team is solved. Nigeria have got a very good attack with the likes of Osimhen, Boniface and Lookman, if Nigeria can get a technically sound midfield to link up with the attack while ensuring the defence is tight, the team should be good.

Probably this below.

With the likes of Awoniyi, Iheanacho, Chukwueze, Sadiq who can deputise in the attack. There are also the likes of Tella, Fisayo who can either play as wing forwards and also as no 10.

In the midfield which had been Nigeria's main problem for a while, I think a central midfield of Onyedika and Aribo who are technically sound should be capable of linking up the defence with the attack alongside Iwobi as the 10. I would also want Samson Tijani to be integrated into the squad. He's a technical agile defensively astute holding midfielder and apart from Onyedika, there is no other holding midfielder in the squad. The other central midfielders such as Onyeka, Yusuf, Ndidi etc are box to box.

In the defence, I think Nigeria should also be scouting for more agile defenders who can deputise, especially if the defenders aren't available.
