1. Confess ur sins and let God cleanse you from all unrighteousness. Spiritual empowerment is for the sanctified vessels, those not rule by sin, but who embrace holy living.
2. Surrender the control of ur mind, will and emotion to God.
3. Fellowship with other believers for spiritual maturity.
4. Desire the in-filling of the spirit regularly, attending tarry meeting and mountain-top prayer programme.
5. Faith is important if we will be endued.
6. Obedience: God gives His spirit to those who will obey Him.
7. Be ready to wait on Him in fasting, prayer and regular reading of the word of God.
There is no short cut to this.

We are all travelers through life. The Word of God makes clear that there are but two roads to travel to our destination. Christ Himself declared this fact in Matthew 7:13,14. There are but two roads, the way to life and the way to destruction. There are but two roads, the narrow and broad. Everyone is on one road or the other.
The Lord has not hidden from us the road to heaven, the way of life, or the path of salvation. Christ is only road to life. All who receive Him as their Lord and savior are on their way to heaven. (John 10:9)
But the real fact is that, not all men are willing to enter the door or go by the way of the Cross of Christ. Many seek their own way of salvation.(Isaiah 53:6, Proverbs 14:12)
Christ is the gate and the way that leads to heaven and everlasting life. Rejection of Christ is the way that leads to death and hell. On which way are you?
