What makes a man a Christian is that the spirit of Christ dwells in him and he resembles Christ in His attributes!!!

When a man submits his life to Christ one of the most important things that will happen to him is that Christ will begin to live His life in him and He will receive the power to live as a child of God. The spirit of Christ manifest as follows;

➡It is a spirit that forgives and does not keep a record of wrongdoings. It gives people another chance to get things right.
➡ It is a spirit that obeys God at all costs (Matt 26:39). The Holy Spirit expresses holiness and righteousness (Matt 5:17-30).

➡It is a spirit of love that is kind and does not think about itself alone. It enables a man to live a life of sacrifice (John 15:13).
➡It is the spirit that does not discriminate (Luke 19:10).
➡It is a humble spirit (John 13:2-5).
➡It is a spirit that attributes every success to God's grace (John 5:19).
➡It is the spirit that lives for the fulfilment of God's purpose alone (John 5:30).
➡It is a gentle spirit that does not strive for relevance but walk into God's divine plan and purpose (Matt 11:29).

You are only a Christian when you allow the spirit of Christ to find expression in your life.

Every good thing of life comes as a product of sacrifice. We must go on in the journey of destiny thinking of what to do and how to make a mark in the sand of time. No man can boast of the fact that he never enjoyed the benefits of the sacrifices of men. The beauty of your life emanates from the sacrifices of men who took care of you.

Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice that gave every man access to God. The likes of Joseph, Abraham and David made unique sacrifices that places them in the chronicles of people who fulfilled the purpose of God. Every call of God in your life is a call to a life of sacrifice. Do not hesitate to give your best to serve God and humanity. Present yourself to serve God reasonably by blessing other lives with your existence!

Lord! Make me a blessing; help me to make a remarkable positive mark in the sand of time in Jesus' name. Amen!!!

Focus: The Place of Fulfilment

You are not meant to be anywhere at any given time; there is a predetermined location where you must be in order to fulfil your destiny!!!

The first thing God does to assist a man in fulfilling the purpose of his creation is to bring him to the place of fulfilment at any cost. The first 75 years of Abraham's life were spent in obscurity until he moved to his place of fulfilment according to God's word for him.

As God did for Joseph, he sometimes allows some men to have experiences that push them away from their familiar ground and usher them into the land of fulfilment. It is essential to understand when to stay put and when to move. Whatever the case may be, you must always seek God's perspective on your journey in destiny at all times.

Lord! Guide me to the place where I am meant to be in Jesus' name. Amen!!!

Focus: Divine Location II

WORD FOR TODAY
You can only be what God wants you to be where He wants you to be. You must be divinely located to enjoy divine allocation for your life and destiny!!!

"The LORD appeared to Isaac and said, "Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land where I tell you to live." (Genesis 26:2 NIV).

God does not want Isaac to go down to Egypt despite the prevailing situation in his location at the time. We couldn't know the consequences of going to Egypt but we saw the blessing of abiding where God wants him to be; the land on which he dwells became Rehoboth.

Every attempt to go away from where God wants you to be is an attempt to go down. Elimelech and Naomi found themselves in similar situations to that of Isaac but their experience differs because Isaac heard God. The land that appeared to be a greener pasture consumed them.

Anywhere that is not in the plan of God for you to be is regarded as Egypt for you and the word of the Lord for you is that "Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land where I tell you to live." Don't allow the situation of your life or that of the land on which you dwell to be a driving force that determines your location but the word of God.

+ Why are you where you are? Are you divinely located?

Lord! May I never go down, I will always be where you want me to be and be what you want me to be in destiny in Jesus' name. Amen!!!

To go away from where you are divinely located is to go down!!!

Your location has a great influence factor on your choice, marriage, ministry, career, experience, vision, motivation, aspirations and impact in the land of the living. You must be divinely located if you must fulfill your purpose in destiny!!!

Everything about your destiny has a geography attached to it. Your provision from God will go to the location that God has planned for you. Hence, certain things will not happen in your life until you get to the location they are ordained to happen.

Most of the time, your divine location may not appear like a green pasture. The Lord told Isaac not to go down to Egypt. He obeyed and experience fruitfulness. The Land he dwells in, became Rehoboth.

You must be very mindful of being divinely located at every point in time so as not to lose out in destiny. Every time spent outside your divine location is a waste.

+ Are you divinely located?

Lord! I receive the power of divine alignment to my divine location; I will not be out of place with destiny in Jesus' name. Amen!!!

God's personality is love. The fact that God does not fail proves that love cannot fail. This is demonstrated by the fact that, despite men's flaws, God has not given up on them and continues to show mercy because He loves us.

Happy are you when your marriage, ministry, academics, career, relationships, and business are founded on Love. This is because promises, prophecies, and motivational words can all fail, but love never does. Love always protects, trusts, hopes and perseveres. Love is the most important attribute required to validate God's presence in a man's life.

The assurance that any aspect of your life will not fail is in the fact that you will find Love and allow it to manifest in your life.

We can only have what God has given us and we can never have what He has taken away from us. No matter what a man achieve in life the fact remains that he will return naked in the manner he was born.

The life of a man who previously earned $100 but later got a new job which gives him $1000 will change a bit. As time goes on the manner of which $100 is not enough so also will the $1000. The man who stole or embezzled a huge amount of money placed at his disposal will never be satisfied but will continue to seek more to embezzle. The joy over what you are trusting God to do in your life will diminish with time when it is accomplished because of the desire for something much better.

You are not an achiever in the land of the living until you find God through Christ. Life is given to worship, serve and please God.

Every divine assignment is made by God for men and by men, not by men for men. This implies that only God can do His work and that He only requires men to serve as a vessel through which He ministers to other men. Men demonstrate God's supernatural power on this basis.

There are those who do not fully present themselves for God's use. When the Lord confronts them with specific assignments, they become hesitant due to various limitations in their lives, just as Moses did. No man is born a great man, but every man has the potential to be great. God's great people have limitations as well, but they become great by doing great things for God.

When you are confronted with your weakness in any attempt to fulfil God's purpose, rely completely on God, who never fails. Moses, Joshua, Gideon, Joseph, Jephthah, and others rose to prominence by overcoming their weaknesses through faith in God's word. Even you must believe God to be who He says you will be. Make no excuses; simply make yourself available for His use.

Lord! I receive the grace to rise above every limitation to do great exploits in Jesus' name. Amen!!!

A man, no matter how spiritual, is first and foremost a man before he is referred to as a man of God. Hence, when dealing with any man, regardless of who he is, the fact that he is not without weakness and can be influenced by sinful nature remains. Unfortunately, several men have sacrificed their reasonable service, mandate, and the essence of their existence on the altar of fleshly lust, and pride of life!

Consequently, don't make men your models. A man is never greater than what he sees. You must always look to Jesus as your model for living. If you must follow a man, it must be Christ in him. There is no doubt in the fact that God is placing a watch over your life, and some people will see what you do as what is right. You must also walk in Christ's footsteps to be an effective ambassador for Him.

God created us for Himself and our lives are meant to fulfil a definite purpose. Hence, God used various situations in our lives to work out His good pleasure. Irrespective of the issues in your life, you must seek to know its essence in God's purpose and wait upon Him for intervention.

All the experience Joseph had was to ensure the fulfilment of God's word to Abraham when he was called. Even though the experience was unpalatable to
Joseph the fact remains that he was equally on the pathway of the fulfilment of his dreams while fulfilling God's purpose. At that point, he does not have a clue of what God was doing with his life; but everything falls into its rightful place at the appointed time.

Life is not meant to be complicated and miserable. It is designed to take a good turn after every unpalatable experience. Wait upon the Lord to work out His good pleasure concerning issues associated with your life. It is in His plan to make everything beautiful at the appointed time of His Glory.

Love is the bedrock of every successful relationship. It is the most important virtue that keeps the fire of every passion alive. When a man is slack in his commitment towards something, the missing link is love. Naturally, a man will give just anything to whatever he is passionately inclined to.

The attribute called love distinguishes itself from lust in that it is patient, kind, not self-seeking, not easily angered, not rude, it does not delight in evil nor keep a record of wrongdoings (1Cor 13:4-7). Your primary assignment in marriage, relationships, ministry, and any domain of placement is to be committed to love as expected by God.

It is not enough to pretend to say yes to God; it is very much important that you appear the way you are both in your thoughts and intentions.

Many men like the first son in the bible verse affirm the fact that they will go and do according to the word of God given to them. In the presence of God's people and various men in their immediate contact, they appear as if they are going but in the actual sense, they are not.

People see them as candidates of God's kingdom in words, language and other physical attributes but they are not. There is nothing a man can gain pretending because God cannot be mocked but you can be helped if you will always choose to appear the way you are.

Don't allow people to keep thanking God on your behalf when you are still living in rottenness despite your wonderful appearance. Deny yourself by always saying yes to God both in words and indeed.

+ With respect to your appearance; are you truly for God?

Lord! I receive the grace to always say yes to you in all situations both in words and indeed in Jesus' name. Amen!!!

The Lord in His attributes has never gone back on His word. Once the Lord has spoken over an issue be rest assured that they will come to pass. This will not be as a result of what you can do or the resources at your disposal but because the Lord will reveal His Glory through the situation of your life.

Irrespective of your experience be mindful of what the Lord has said and let His word be your confidence. The Lord spoke about Isaac to Abraham even though it was unbelievable it became visible to all creation.

The promises of God in your life is not in vain. It is given and declared to reveal His glory. Consider not your previous experience because what the Lord is set to do in your life will be visible to all eyes.

The breath of God in a man is what makes him a living soul. When God's breath departs from a man, his life comes to an end. Samson slaughtered a lion as well as several Philistines. God's grace worked so powerfully in his life that he was dubbed Samson the Great. When God's grace was taken from Him, his enemies used him as a tool for entertainment.

When God empowers you in any capacity, keep in mind that you were not created that way. Grace was made available to you at some point, and God used men to carry you. The more God empowers you, the more grace you should find to remain humble and acknowledge God's grace. Also, if you want to reach a certain level of success in any aspect of your life, keep in mind that by strength no man shall prevail. You will only succeed and fulfil your mandate by His grace alone.

Focus: Operating Under God's Grace

The fact that a man is knowledgeable, strong, powerful, industrious and determined does not mean that he will be successful. Success and fulfilment in various facets of life is not only the function of hard labour but majorly of God's grace and favour!!!************************************

"It is vain for you to rise up early, To sit up late, To eat the bread of sorrows; For so He gives His beloved sleep." (Psalm 127:2 NKJV)

It is for men to labour but it is for God to give sleep, rest, peace of mind and fulfilment. The bible verse makes it clear that a man can labour hard and end up eating the bread of sorrow because his labour would bring him more sorrow than sleep. One day of God's favour is enough to put an end to ten years of intense fruitless labour.

Do not underestimate what God can do in your life; you must continue to acknowledge Him in whatever you do. Whatever God will not support you or help you to do will remain fruitless and a waste of time (Ps 127:1). As you proceed in destiny you must ensure that your life is operating under the influence of God's grace.

The outcome of the life of a man who depends on his labour will be limited to what men can do but a life operating under the grace of God will be open to what God can do. It is an established fact that labour oriented people don't usually find sleep and yet never enjoy life irrespective of what they have. Walk-in obedience to God's word and enjoy the peace of God in whatever you do; having hope that all will be well.

The word of God considered today, is the message of the Lord to His people in captivity. The Lord allowed their enemy to overpower them and take them captive but yet His word to them was that His thoughts towards them are that of peace. Whatever the Lord allows you to suffer, experience hardness, delay or loss; His thought towards you is peace.

There is a beast in every man called the sinful nature which is very stubborn and will never submit to God's will. Hence, the Lord sponsor various situation of life to bring us to the end of ourselves to tame this beast. Do not waste the dealings of the Lord in your life; this is because there is a purpose God wants to achieve with every situation of your life. There is an offence to be avenged when your obedience is complete. Cooperate with Him to have the life he wants to give you!!!

Focus: Elijah will be Taken

Life will always allow us to come in contact with great men but they are not meant to be with us forever. No man is too great to live forever!!!

"And so it was when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, "Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?" Elisha said, "Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me." (2Kings 2:9 NKJV)

Elijah was a great Prophet among the prophets that ever lived both in his time and even till now. However, with his greatness, by the virtue of his exploits in his lifetime, a time came when the Lord saw the need to take him away. This is because life is a temporary assignment.

As we proceed in destiny we must be mindful of the fact that all the Elijahs (Men who are doing great exploits for God in our time) will be taken just like the ones who have gone ahead of them. If God has been using you greatly don't live your life as if you will live forever; labour under God to produce the Elisha that can carry a double portion of God's grace in your life.

Also, if you are like an Elisha (a disciple) eating under the grace of an Elijah(discipler), make the best use of the opportunity to submit and learn, so that the grace of the Lord will come upon you in multiple folds. Don't waste any opportunity but ack like the master which says " I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. (John.9.4)

+ Do you live with the orientation that no man is too great to live forever?

Lord! Help me fulfil my days in Jesus' name. Amen!!!

The creation of God on daily basis express His Glory. The sun has never ceased to give us light in the day and the moon and stars continue to radiate God's Glory at night. From generation to generation, season to season, years after years, nations to nations; they continue to manifest the purpose of their creation unhindered!!!

You must desire the word of God and allow the Holy Spirit to find expression in your life to live a life free from presumptuous sins. It makes the mind become clouded and hinders a man from seeing or thinking clearly. It robs men of joy and peace and diminishes the beauty of God’s blessings in their lives.

Face what God wants you to achieve in destiny. Be encouraged to do well like those who set the pace of good deeds. Don't be jealous or become dejected on the account of other people's progress and achievement. Believe in your dreams and aspirations irrespective of your experience in life. No matter what you do, there will be people behind you, people at the same level, and those who are ahead of you. Therefore, move on in destiny with patience according to the measure of grace made available for you.

The ordeal of Elizabeth was visible to all her neighbours and relatives; therefore her miracle could not be hidden. The report of God's mercy over her came to all men who knew her with the peculiarities of her challenges. No matter how turbulent the storm ranging over your life appears to be, the fact remains that there is a time when God will show you mercy.

Naomi's family left Bethlehem for the land of Moab because of famine. But after some time when something worse happened to them; the news of God's mercy over His people came to them in the land of Moab. You don't need to go away from God because of any issue of life; no matter what He will surely visit his people.

The brothers of Joseph took the bad news of the evil they did to him to Jacob. As the Lord will have it, they were the same set of people who took the news of God's mercy and glory in his life to their father. No matter the battle against your dreams and manifestation as you wait upon God; the news of your victory will be proclaimed by God's mercy.

The terrible nature of men becomes very obvious when the man in us gets the better of us. Despite the investment of God in terms of the word of God we were exposed to and the level of His anointing in our lives, the fact remains that terrible unholy thoughts which should not be spoken of still run in our hearts. Hence, we must always cling to the grace of God that teaches us per time to say no to the sinful nature in us.

For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God's laws, and it never will. That's why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God (Rom 8:7-8 NLT). We must allow Christ to live His life in us. It is when we do this that we can love our neighbours as ourselves, be happy with their progress and achievements, forgive their sins against us, bear their burdens and live as a living sacrifice in our pilgrimage!!!

King Solomon who enjoyed and explore the best things that life can offer said "What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun." Eccl 1:9. Wisdom demands that you should not neglect the wise word of those who have gone before you in any aspect of life.

King Rehoboam lost ten kingdoms because he rejected the advice of elders. The greatest evil that can happen to a young man is to live his life without taking instructions from those who have gone ahead of him. Considering the wise words of godly elders will never harm you but will guide and enhance your procession in the journey of destiny. Be mindful of the fact the life of the elders around you represent either success or failure; their lives will provide a useful clue as you proceed in destiny!!!

In 1Sam.17.33, Saul said to David, "You are not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him; for you are a youth, and he a man of war from his youth." David did not allow king Saul to talk him down and went ahead to defeat Goliath. As you face different issues and challenges in life, always go in the strength of the Lord without considering your limitation and the words of men that aim to slow you down.

God is self-sufficient; hence, He does not need men to be the God He is. In every situation you find yourself or the situation of people around you, don't help God but do what He tells you. Uzzah tries to help God in a way contrary to His instructions and he pays with his life.

Some people influence other men and young people to make a critical choice with respect to marriage, career, ministry, business and their spiritual life. No man will ever forget the one who misled him to an unfortunate path in life and such will not be innocent before God.

The primary duty of every man in ministry is to bring men to God; teaching them to know and hear from Him. Even though we are expected to be an extended hand of God reaching out to men, the fact remains that we are not expected to be God in their lives.

Putting yourself in the place of God either to provide or to pass definite instructions is to put yourself into serious trouble. The issues in the life of a man are bigger than what another can carry. To help men and stay out of trouble, lead them to God the creator and designer of every man's destiny.

King Hezekiah was sick because God wants to terminate him but he was made whole after pleading with God to consider his faithfulness before Him.

Sickness or diseases isolate a man from his mandate and incapacitate his growth and aspiration in all facets of life. As you proceed in destiny you must be mindful of the fact that God can restore health to you whenever your health is failing. No matter how mild or severe any health issues may appear to be; don't forget to seek the Lord about it even as the physicians play their part.

When Goliath confronted the children of Israel, he threatened them for forty days and no one could challenge him because they saw him as an undefeatable giant. David was able to challenge him because he has a good eye and sees him as an uncircumcised Philistine the actual way God see Goliath.

You must trust God to help you to have a good eye and see yourself, issues in your life and the perspective of your destiny the way the Lord sees it. What you will become begins with what you see yourself becoming. You must see the plan of God for your life and walk in the path that will bring about its fulfilment.

The greatest battle of life is the battle within. A composer sang a song saying " If there is no condemnation in our hearts, a glorious rest is assured". What you claim to do in the name of the Lord will only count and be useful to fulfil His purpose on earth, if you have won the battle within.

When a man is still a slave to sin, he is nowhere in the purpose of God. He is prey in the hands of the devil and a vessel of dishonour. No matter how wonderful and glorious your appearance is before men, the fact remains that you are a victim if you are still being eaten up by the works of the flesh.

Winning the battle within begins with walking in the spirit. Submitting yourself to God and allowing Him to live His life in you. This will be possible when you deny yourself, take up your cross daily and follow Jesus Christ in His steps (Luke 9:23). It is only when God lives His life in you that you can bear the fruit of the Spirit and have the inner strength to confront every battle of life.

The youthful age is characterized by the strength required to bear the yoke of your life in destiny. It is a pity that the youths of this present age are not interested in bearing any kind of yoke associated with their mandate in destiny. They love to be free and to do whatever they wish. Despite attending the best kind of schools with wonderful resources for learning such as the internet; many remain uneducated and provide jobs for men who provide aid for examination malpractices.

Your youthful age determines how far you will go in life because it is the period of foundation laying. Moreso, it is also a period when many things about a man become permanent. When a man chooses not to bear his at his youthful age several miseries will also become permanent.

As a young man try as much as possible to bear the yoke associated with your marital, academic, spiritual, financial life etc. while you are still young. The old men of today were strong young men in the past as you were today. What they are today was the product of the choices they made in their youthful age. If they were to be given another opportunity to be youths again they would have loved it; however, you can only be a youth once in a lifetime.

+ Is your youthful years useful in helping you to fulfil your destiny?

Any service whatsoever cannot be regarded as an effective one before Him if such is done contrary to His will.

In serving the Lord you must be mindful of the fact that He is not a respecter of any person and that He is self-sufficient. The joy of serving the Lord will be yours when you corporate with Him to walk and work in obedience. Do not allow selfishness or any kind of evil desire to hinder you from receiving the blessing meant for you from the Lord.

No matter what has happened to you wait on God's will for you in marriage. Don't marry a man because of his/her riches, appearance, education, career, family and prospect in life. If you must marry a man, it must be the one God designed for you.

Don't be intimidated by what you see in another man's life nor fret yourself because of those who appeared to have gone ahead. You are created uniquely to rule your world according to the measure of God's grace for your life. Wait upon the Lord and settle for His will for your life.

The peace He gives is in form of His word made available in every life's circumstances. In every life's issue seek to know what He has said concerning it. Be mindful of the fact that every act of disobedience to His word at any level of life comes with a painful price.

Don't sacrifice your peace on the altar of unrighteousness and ephemeral things of this life. It isn't worth it. In your pursuit and getting in life, let the peace of Christ dwell in your heart.
