Your body is the vehicle conveying you to your destination in destiny. The ultimate desire of God for you is that you experience prosperity in three critical aspects of life: Physical or material prosperity, Spiritual prosperity and prosperity in terms of good health.

Even though you need self-denial in terms of discipline and putting your body into subjection to fulfil your mandate in life; the fact remains that you must cooperate with every natural law that supports good health.

One of the most important ways your life can be useful to God is to stay healthy. Taking care of your body is an important aspect of your service to God. There are several men with promising futures whose dreams and aspirations for God and their individual lives were cut off due to the manner they handled their bodies.

Take a rest and sleep when you should, give yourself exercise, keep your environment clean, eat good food and treat any ailment in your body. Learn how to retreat periodically from your daily routine activities. You can only enjoy the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living when you are healthy!

+ What priority do you give to taking care of your body?

Lord! I receive the grace to prosper and be in health, even as my soul prospers in Jesus name. Amen!!!

When God empowers a man he does the extraordinary. This empowerment will come upon a man when he aligns his plan and purpose with that of God on earth. When Naaman humbled himself and took a step in the direction of God's will for him to take a bath seven times in the river Jordan grace came upon him and leprosy left him.

God has used several men before now to do extraordinary things. Moses didn't envision that the Lord could part the red sea through his hands, but the Lord did much more because he submitted himself and walk in obedience to the word of God.

If you will take the path of righteousness and do God's will; the Lord will not hesitate to release grace upon you. There is no limit to what you can do if you will present yourself as a living sacrifice to partner with God in the fulfilment of His purpose.

Life is beautiful when true love becomes the order of the day or the lifestyle of men. A man who cannot overlook the shortcomings in the lives of men cannot love according to the will of God.

The Lord who is the creator of all men is not ignorant of the weakness in the lives of His creation. Therefore, He commanded all men to love one another just to make up for the inadequacies in every individual's life. The fact that we are created for relationships shows that we need to be loved by others to complement our lives.

Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs." (1 Cor 13:5). When true love manifests, it appears as if it is blind; its flame burns every shortcoming due to its characteristics. However, when taken for granted, the flame dies a natural death and brings every shortcoming to the limelight.

It is not enough to have a wonderful relationship; you must do everything possible to fan the flame of love to keep it lively. Don't be complacent with various inadequacies in your life but make effort through the help of God to get better in a bid to make your life more attractive to people.

Every man created by God is entitled to a certain measure of grace. No man has everything and a man who have nothing. Don't take the grace of the Lord over your life for granted; appreciate Him for His marvellous works in your life.

It is not normal:
- to travel and come back safely
- to be a trained professional and be relevant in your field
- to speak and be heard
- to open your eyes and see things
- to have vision, dreams, aspirations and fulfil it
- to visit the restroom(toilet) and ease yourself
- to sleep and wake up
- to be living and be healthy
- to be sick and made whole
- to be single and get married
- to be married and be blessed with the fruit of the womb
- to be pregnant and deliver safely
- to be admitted into an institution of higher learning and come out in flying colours.
- to need basic needs of life and have them met
- to have money and enjoy life
- to invest and make a profit
- to have a firm and become established
- to be saved and fulfil your mandate

When any of these appear to be normal for you then you have received unusual grace from God. Many people around you can't do most of what you can do with ease. Think about His goodness and appreciate Him!

+ What were you able to do without God's grace?

Prayer Point:
Lord! I won't take your works in my life for granted; I thank you for what you have done, what you are doing and what you will do in Jesus name. Amen!!!

Focus: A Gambling Faith

Nothing in a man's life will work unless he walks and works in accordance with God's will for him. Gambling is identified when a man claims to believe in God's word but fails to work and walk in order to bring it to fulfilment!!!

The word of God does not work like a magic but come to pass when men corporate with God to bring it to pass. Jesus said I must work (John 9:4). It is the work of Christ that brought about salvation to all mankind. Several promises of God will not be fulfilled if men fail to walk and work on the premises of God's promises for them.

It was said of Isaac that he began to prosper and continued to prosper until he became very prosperous according to God's plan for him because he was not lazy but continued to sow in the land (Gen.26.13). You must always seek grace and seek to understand what God wants to do and the role you must play in carrying it out.

Be mindful of the fact that when men fail in their responsibility, the promises of God are delayed. Every correct prayer offered to God is always followed by definite instructions for definite actions. You can't afford to continue to live as if there is no God; do whatever He tells you in all situations.

Lord! I receive the grace to walk and work into your divine agenda for my life in Jesus name. Amen!!!

The fact that the number of your hairs is known by God; He is not ignorant of what is happening in your life. The Lord is taking note of every minute detail of your life. Hence, don't allow any situation to push you away from God who rules in all affairs of men. If you have gone to God about various issues in your life, you have to keep going to Him until your prayers have been answered.

Whenever clouds arise and the hope within you die; it is time to draw closer to God and keep faith alive. Do not be discouraged nor allow the shadows of various uncertainties of life to overwhelm you. Let not your heart be troubled, give no room to doubts and fears but allow God to lead you safely through various issues of life.

The beauty and flaws in the life of an old man depend on the people around him. The old age of a man will be good and his end glorious if he is surrounded by good and righteous men!!!

The intellect of a man from infant to old again is parabolic in nature. All men will return to child-like behaviour as they progress into old age and be at the mercy of those around them. You will go where your children and people around you want to go in the future and their thoughts, evil desire, mistakes, faith and righteousness will become yours.

We cannot congratulate a man yet, as far as fulfilment is concerned, until he is surrounded by men and children who have a purpose of heart to serve God and have gained the heart of wisdom. Train up your child, disciples, and people around you the way they should go because their destination is a factor that determines your end.

King David ended gloriously because he was surrounded by good people who counselled him correctly. They advised him to retire from going to war and he yielded. Do not relent until you ensure that your children and those around you are taught of the Lord and love Him in righteousness. Your faith, labour of love, consecration and walk with God will be a waste if those who will hold your hand at old age have not seen God in righteousness nor walk with Him.

+ What are your investments over those that will hold your hand at old age?

Lord! When I am old and grey, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come in Jesus name. Amen!!!

You will walk with God to the end if and only if those who will hold your hand at old age will also be walking with God!!!

Acquaint yourself to the word of God and be mindful of His promises over your life as you proceed on the pathway of destiny. Make it your confidence in every life's situation and your heart desire will be met.

Every man with a very beautiful dream goes on in life with great expectation. This expectation comes with great excitement and hope for a better tomorrow. However, the devil the greatest enemy of man at every point in time will try all he can to ensure that such dreams suffer a great setback.

One of the greatest strategies of the evil one against any man in the battle of life is to ensure that he lost his confidence and lose faith in his dreams. This is because he knows that no battle will not be lost when confidence is defeated.

Sometimes when it seems as if God did not intervene in the issues of your life; He is putting the confidence you have in Him and your dreams to test. Irrespective of what betides do not throw away your confidence because your reward in destiny depends on it.

You will not have the right evaluation of yourself until you begin to see yourself the way God sees you. All men try their best to present themselves properly. If you must go into partnership with any man be it in business, ministry, career, marriage; you must not be carried away with emotions, charisma, good presentation and appearance but seek to know the perception of God about the people involved. What is hidden about a man is very open to God!

The limitation we have as humans is that we can't see beyond what is presented to us. If not for God's intervention, Samuel would have anointed Eliab instead of David. You will be doing yourself great harm if your heart is not large enough to accept God's will and do it. What God will do with your life is not a function of how you appear before men but the perception of God about you.

Lord! Enlarge my heart to accept and do your will all the days of my life in Jesus name. Amen!!!

There is a time for every purpose on earth. Seeds do not become big plants the day they are sown. The Lord Jesus Christ came as a baby and not like a mighty warrior but, yet the Saviour of the World. His birth, ministry and death established the fact that good things in life require process and waiting time.

Today people engage in various dirty games, rituals, malpractices and dubious activities intending to achieve something in life.

Do not settle for close alternatives that will be presented to you by the devil at every critical junction of life. Settle not for Ishmael wait for your Isaac. Look forward to the fulfilment of your God-given dreams through righteousness and settle not for the offer presented by Potiphar's wife; run for your dear life.

The Lord will reward every labour of love. Submit to God's process in preparing for manifestation and give no room to disobedience.

Lord! I will not settle for a close alternative I will only be what you want me to be in Jesus name. Amen!!!

One thing you must understand as you proceed in destiny is that there is time for everything. Irrespective of the magnitude of God's plan and purpose for your life you must present yourself for incubation before your manifestation. Proper incubation does not happen in the public and no man can grow effectively at the point of exposure.

The ordeal in the life of Joseph was due to the ovation of his dreams. God in a bid to preserve his mandate hid him, making his enemies think they had triumphed over him. A similar scenario played out when Jesus and Moses were born. Also, the problem David had was because of the ovation of his mandate when he defeated Goliath.

God helped these men to handle their ovation by sending them into hibernation by force to preserve their glory. When your glory comes to maturity its manifestation will happen naturally without any struggle. Several young men are being cut short in destiny because they were exposed before their manifestation; wait upon the Lord and grow in strength to bear the weight of God's glory in destiny. (Isa.40:30-31).

+ How much do you care about your growth?

Lord! My destiny will not fail; I will grow from strength to strength to fulfil my mandate in Jesus name. Amen!!!

What the Lord requires from every man is simple and that is obedience to His will. To obey His word is not too big for the Lord to request from you. You must obey God to receive his blessing. The life the likes of Joseph, David, Daniel and Abraham had was achieved through obedience. They Enjoyed the fruit of obedience.

There is something that is required of you to do to be happy in Christ Jesus and be who He wants you to be; this is simple obedience. A peculiar turning point happened in the life of Abraham when he responded to God's call. That singular act is the reason behind everything we know about Abraham; If he had done otherwise we may likely not know or heard about him.

+ How simple is obedience to God's Word to you?

Lord! Don't let me waste away, deliver me from every act of disobedience to your word in Jesus name. Amen!!!

Have you at any time wondered why some people failed to help despite having the capacity and resources to help? Have come to a point where you are not just willing to help despite having enough resources to help? No man will have anything no matter how hard he tries if he is not given from above. It is only the man that has received help from above that will be helped.

A rich man was challenged by the sacrifice of a man who donated his old car (taxi) for the work of God; he ordered that a brand new car be given to him. The rich man was very unhappy and indignant the next day when the lucky man went to appreciate him for the gesture. He was probably not himself when he did what he did because God commanded him to do it.

Grace to help or to be helped will be available when God commands it. Each time you need help, the first place to go is to God the creator of all men and not to men. There is more to what we see in the appearance and presentation of men; their needs are unlimited and unending. To put your trust in men is to prepare for woe.

In every quest to reach your goals in life, you will not but always experience setbacks. Every setback is meant to keep you back from moving towards your goals. The only way to overcome every setback is to keep moving forward.

To keep moving forward in every facet of life is by choice. All men who became discouraged and stopped moving on the pathway of destiny at a point in time decided to stop moving. No matter what happens, believe in your dreams and keep moving towards their fulfilment.

Don’t let yesterday use up too much of today. Sometimes God closes some doors because it is time to move forward. He knows you won’t move unless your circumstances force you. You can’t start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one. Don't bother about the setbacks on your way keep moving!

The essence of the gift of salvation to the entire human race is for us to find mercy and pardon for our wrongdoings. Each time you sin you have not done what is strange as a human; it will only be strange if you continue to live in it despite the provision of salvation.

No matter what you think you have done or doing it is not hidden from God; He said in His word: "For My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from My face, nor is their iniquity concealed from My eyes. (Jer 16:17). Hence, you will be fooling yourself if you continue to cover your sins to live in guilt.

Each time you sin against God whatever you think you are does not matter what matters at that point is confession. Hence, try to always honour God with your decisions and be mindful of the fact that the wages of sin is death. As long as there is a sin yet to be confessed in the life of a man he will keep dying until he is destroyed.

Lord! Help me to honour you with my decisions and live a life free from guilt in Jesus name. Amen!!!

God used Moses to perform several miracles which no man has ever done since the earth was created. We can't forget the miracles of the red sea, the healing of waters and daily manner among others. Despite all these, He died like others who were before Him. God announced to his successor that he has to continue where He stopped. The implication of this is that what God is doing on earth is beyond men!!!

It is a great privilege to be in the service of God at any level of life. Don't misuse the opportunity to serve Him when duty or call demands it. In doing the work of God don't forget that it must follow divine pattern and specification. Until you obey God to walk and work in His ways while serving Him, whatever you do is of no eternal value. We must all, with fear and trembling, serve the Lord because He will do His good pleasure even if we are no more.

There is no living soul without a peculiar issue in his or her life. This is because there is no end to issues of life. The solution to an issue ushers a man into another. It is the clothes and the appearance every man puts on that makes it appears as if everything is right with some people. When you celebrate and personalize the issues in your life they become yours.

When you continue to place much focus on the issues in your life they cost you your joy, happiness and fulfilment. The burden you fail to cast upon the Lord will become a weight that will slow you down in the journey of destiny. Jesus said don't worry about anything but seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matt 6:25-34). Don't allow what you don't have that you think you need to cost you the required joy needed to fulfil your purpose. Be happy and live with the orientation that God will make everything beautiful at His time!!!

There is no end to issues of life as long as we live. However, you must find grace and guard your heart diligently to do God's will in all issues of life!!!

What you must not forget as you proceed in destiny is that we are not in a perfect world, hence, there will never be a perfect situation. There will always be something to anticipate, pray and trust God for, and you will always need something. Just as there will always be something that makes you happy there will also be something to make you sad.

In this life, the solution to a problem leads to another. There are issues of life associated with every choice you make. A man who divorced his wife for some reason has succeeded in changing the dimensions of his life's issue. Whatever the case may be with you at every point in time always find the will of God and do accordingly. This is the only way the issues in your life will not become complicated.

Focus: The Word of God Must be Fulfilled

Even when it appears as if what the Lord said does not give a sign of fulfilment; it doesn't change the fact that God is consistent in fulfilling His words. God will not but fulfil his word: either as a reward for obedience or consequence for disobedience!!!

Several men continue in their evil ways because God in His mercy continues to allow them to repent from their sins. Some people are at ease despite their evil deeds because the consequences of their actions seem not to be sight. They neither saw the wind nor the rain of the consequences of their actions but the fact remains that the valley of the consequences of their actions will be filled according to God's word.

Repent from doing evil because evil will never depart from the lives of men who do evil. The God who is merciful is still a consuming fire. When Achan stole the accursed things; he did not see it as something that will put an end to his household. Also, Gehazi was ignorant of the fact that his household will drink from the water of the consequences of his sin. Be mindful of the fact that the Lord is not ignorant of your deeds and will repay you accordingly and your household will also drink from it.

No man comes to significance in the journey of destiny without discipline. At a point, David had an opportunity to kill King Saul; but He will not do so because the word of the Lord came to him "touch not my anointed and do my prophet no harm". This word remains even when it seems King Saul is acting against the word of God. The act of David in this case is referred to as Discipline.

The Host of Heaven couldn't plead for Moses over the verdict of God over him; that he will not lead the Israelites into the promised land. God honours His word because it is settled. The grace made available to us does not give us the license to sin but run away from sin (Titus 2:11-12). There is a limit to what the Holy Spirit will do in your life if you are living in disobedience.

Every word of God coming to you is meant to help you to identify your boundaries. The ability to keep within the boundaries of God's word for you is the required discipline to fulfil God's purpose. There is no doubt in the fact that God is set to do new things in your life this year; you must corporate with Him to do His good pleasure in your life.

Jacob got the birthright of Esau and acquired livestock from Laban yet all these achievements seem not to matter to him. He came to a point where he saw that all he had is irrelevant to what God wanted him to be. There is no doubt about the fact that several victuals are required as you proceed into the year but the most important victuals are God's presence and His blessings in your life.

Desire the blessings of God in your life. You will surely come to various junctions of life where you will discover that the only thing you need is not what money can buy but only what God can do. It is a very great risk to go forward in destiny without the blessings of God. The only way to have His blessing is to work and walk in obedience.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Today is the last day of this year. Irrespective of your aspiration, dreams and hope towards this year the fact remains that an end has come to this year. It is not an end but an end to a phase-in time. It is not an end to your aspiration and your dreams but an end that prepare you for a new phase in destiny.

The Lord at a point told His disciples that they were going up to Jerusalem to fulfil what was said about Him. This was coming after he had performed several miracles in fulfilment of His mandate. Once you are still a living soul the Lord is very much interested in your life.

As you proceed into the new year you must be mindful of the fact that your life is a work in progress in the hands of the Lord. The promises of the Lord over your life will surely come to pass. Keep your faith in God alive and with a grateful heart appreciate God for bringing you this far and for the fact that He will stand by you to bring His word to pass.

Focus: The way to Give

WORD FOR TODAY
Giving at any level of life under God must be done willingly, cheerfully and tirelessly. It is only a quality offering or gift that comes from a willing heart and given cheerfully that will be rewarded by God!!!

Every giving must be done with a heart of worship and must be seen as a privilege. In giving to God or men, willingness far outweighs the quantity of your seed or giving. This foundation of willingness must be in place for your giving to be acceptable by God.

If your offering is not given willingly, then you can't be cheerful giving it. And a lack of cheerfulness in giving can turn your blessings into a curse as it was written in (Deut 28:47-48).

Your giving must also be tireless. Paul admonishes us to not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap if we faint not (Gal 6:9). The preacher also advises on tireless giving: In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good (Eccl 11:6).

+ How do you give?

Lord! I receive the grace to give willingly, cheerfully and tirelessly in Jesus name. Amen!!!

Christ Jesus is presented to the entire human race to make life on earth a wonderful one. The gift offered to us through Christ Jesus is a priceless one.

Everything about Him is wonderful. His birth is wonderful. His ministry was characterized by signs and wonders. The summary of His lifestyle among men is nothing but wonderful. His death on the Cross of Calvary was allowed to work out wonders for the entire human race. You have not seen wonders until you allow His lifestyle to find expression in your life.

You have to surrender your life to Him if you must experience wonders in all facets of life. There are no wonders except the work of God through Christ Jesus in your life.

The birth of Christ Jesus gave us direct access to God. A man who has accepted Christ as the Lord and saviour is expected to live with the feeling of God's presence. You have no reason to fear nor be dismayed as you go further destiny because God is with you.

We came this far in destiny because God was with us; standing by our side to bring His word to pass. We cannot risk it going further in destiny without Him. At this point in your life; you must accept Him. The consciousness of Immanuel is critical to living a correct Christian life and above fear.

If you are a child in the hands of the Lord, His covenant remains with you. Irrespective of what happens the fact remains that you have every right to peace. Hence, the Prince of Peace is committed to you having peace.

As you proceed in destiny allow the Prince of peace to take the wheel of your life. This is the only sure guarantee to having peace in the journey of destiny. There are several men out there who are living in crises because the Holy Spirit doesn't find expression in their lives.

Wherever there is the root of bitterness, unforgiveness, envy, jealousy and any act of wickedness there can never be peace. Submit yourself to God and allow Him to work in you to do His good pleasure. Honour Him with your decisions and His kindness as well as the covenant of peace will abide with you.

We are in a very busy and competitive world that tends to make us feel as if we need to be up and doing to achieve our goals in various aspects of life. It is so serious that the pursuit of the goals set before us take us away from our families, friends, people of God and our consecration to God. Nevertheless, the busy and competitive world does not make a man so busy to die when his death comes.

In the text above, we saw Jesus and his disciples making a deliberate effort to retreat from people in other to rest and eat. This is a standard set for us irrespective of who we think we are and what we choose to do for a living. Make effort to always retreat from your daily routine activities to commune with God and spend time with your loved ones. Spend time to reflect on your life and how you have lived so far in destiny. Eat in preparation for the task ahead of you spiritually, maritally, academically etc in the journey of destiny.

Sometimes as humans, we tend to ask questions about various situations of our lives. We may be wondering why God allowed some things to happen unexpectedly. Whatever the case may be God remains God and no one can question Him. Nothing in life happens without His prior knowledge and purpose.

Be mindful of the fact that life is in two phases; the good phase and the bad phase. Whatever the case may be with you at any point in time; Reverence God and have hope for a wonderful future. Move on in life having this confidence that all will be well. A man who has seen many good days shouldn't forget that there are evil days as well. Trust only in God for your life and aspirations.

Man irrespective of who he is; is powerless. Men appear powerful because God in His mercy makes grace available. Several great men who lived and passed unto eternity served as a proved of the fact that no man can be great forever. The beauty of our existences and the authority we possess is because God crowns us with glory and honour.

You must live your everyday life with the consciousness that power belongs to God. You did not come this far in destiny by your wisdom and strength alone. Those who appeared to be wise with great resources at their disposal were not given the grace to come to this point. Every dream and aspiration will come to pass by His power alone. You have no life except that given by God: the giver of life. You will go further in destiny to fulfil your mandate at the Lord's will and command.

There is no doubt in the fact that various life situations may tend to have cut you down. If the cutting down has not taken your life then you have hope. God kept you to reveal more of His Glory and salvation to you. With God on your side, there is no impossibility nor a point where a definite conclusion that there is no hope should be made.

Even if it was sin that brought you down; the fact remains that as a living soul you have the opportunity to get things right with God. The prodigal son found himself in a great mess because he isolated himself from the father but was restored when he returned to the father. Irrespective of what has happened to you, your dreams and God's plan for you can come be fulfilled if and only if you believe there is hope for you with God.

Focus: There Is No Perfect Condition

There is no perfect condition in destiny, what we have at every point in time is opportunity. The life of a man will only appear to be perfect when he by God's grace and mercy take his chances and enjoy His favour!!!

Each time a man delays what he should or wants to do for perfect time or condition; he may end up not doing it and may eventually settle for consolation when it is too late for him. Every man is expected to approach the various situation of life based on the level and measure of grace given to him at every point in time.

David after he was anointed to be King did not sit and wait for when the Israelites will seek to crown him as King but rather continued in his normal routine activities and made himself available to serve his people each time duty demands it. Therefore, when his time came he didn't need an introduction and no one was against him because he took his chances.

Again, life will not give you what you want. The plan of God over your life will not come to fulfilment on the platter of gold. Everything you need and what God wants you to be will only come to you in form of opportunities. Irrespective of the time and the situation of things around your life take your chances. Take the bold step of faith to fulfil your mandate above all limitations.
